twas an interesting evening went in to town to see a friend because it was his birthday, and ended up being the only straight person there with everyone trying to get me drunk to see if i'd change my ways they were disappointed that i sticked to my policy of only one person at a time. there's no way i'd cheat on my gf still, it was quite a fun night. it makes a nice change things have really not been going very well lately. work, apartment, friend drama etc

today i discovered that pulling a wheelie on a wheelchair is actually really really easy new goal is to try and go down the stairs on it without hurting myself horribly

it's 6am and i just got home from a friend's 21st birthday party bit of a crazy night really all sorts of new people, such as the goth twin girls i kept getting mixed up. which was awkward because one of them is gay and i was talking to her girlfriend for a while. it was very confusing because i was never quite sure which of the twins she was talking about. then there was the girl i met a few months ago who still persists in being.... overly friendly, despite knowing full well i have a girlfriend and that i've already turned down her offers time and time again. she brought along her little sister to the party and kept espousing my supposed virtues to her. it kinda seemed like she was trying to set me up with her, which is more than a little odd. also i finally heard some of the tracks that are being written for this band i'm apparently going to be singing in as far as groundwork goes for a finished track, it was sounding pretty good time for bed methinks. i am le tired

yeah the February quake in Christchurch was probably more destructive because of another big quake a few months earlier that had already torn down some buildings. i've spoken to some friends down there and they say it's still strange to see almost a year after the first quake, parts of the central city are still blocked off and there are hundreds of buildings that are unsafe and need to be demolished

it's my niece's first birthday today she proceeded to play with the wrapping paper her presents came in rather than the presents themselves, and to throw her piece of birthday cake across the room at the cat the one great thing about being an uncle is that when i've had enough of my niece/nephews, i can always give them back

well to be fair they probably didn't know i'm in a relationship the past couple of days have been very odd. i'm living in a city at sea level in what is effectively the beginning of spring, and yet it's been snowing a lot. first time it's snowed in central wellington in like 40 years or something

What a bunch of wankers! yeah i was thoroughly confused as to what the hell was going on all of a sudden i was in a room full of strangers eyeing me up because ladies seem to find me not altogether horrifying to look at, then they proceeded to insist that somehow my friend being upset was my fault because i wouldn't sleep with her or something

thoroughly bizarre night last night was a friend's birthday party, and there were lots of the usual shenanigans, such as the birthday boy shirtless and pelvic thrusting at a burning brazier and various ladies making out with eachother got awfully confused at one point when i was fetched from outside and brought into a room and sat in front of some strangers who then proceeded to critique my apparent "lady appeal" a friend of mine was upset, and she'd asked them to try and find me so she could cry on my shoulder, but it seems they misinterpreted and thought she was upset with me because they thought i'd shunned her affections for me or something. who bloody knows
