only had one day off this weekend, but made the most of it went to my gf's and we slept in till about 3pm, got up to go get coffee and pizza, then watched gormenghast and had another sleep

i've been on a massive binge lately

barely spent any time at home lately just been working lots and catching up with people looking forward to xmas this year as it'll be a chance to take some time to chill

my girlfriend moved down a few days ago so no longer do i have to take 3 hour trips to see her ^_^

it's been a very strange few days went to a party on the weekend, which was fun, but there were a couple of things about it that were very awkward. i have a friend, and people are very adamant that she has a thing for me, and i found out that yes, she most definitely does. i'm generally a pretty affectionate person, and perhaps she mistook that for something a bit more than intended. i told her she could crash at my place after the party, and she uh... made a very forward advance still kinda confused about the situation, and probably going to have to have a talk to her about it next time i see her as for last night, i got home to a massive ****storm we've had someone staying with us while searching for a new place to live. one of our flatmates however is a super anxious person who evidently hasn't been dealing well with having him around, and has been trying to bottle up all her issues about it for a while. last night however it all came bursting out. so now she's gone back to her parent's place to try and chill out and get her head together, her bf (who lives with us also) has been dragged off somewhere by his meddling father, and the rest of us don't really know what's going on all things considered i'm kinda in a bit of a daze and don't know what to think

yeah i'm quite liking this job so far compared to my last job, it's better hours, better pay, easier work, and much more relaxed

my brother's wife got bored and so dressed their daughter up as Nibbler from Futurama now she's on the Comedy Central website

boss at my new job is obsessed with Arkham City, and today was praising my apparent Batman detective skills when i discovered that one of our contractors has effectively been stealing money from the company

gf was down for the weekend, but all our plans were for naught as her dad had a heart attack and had to go to hospital still, he was surprisingly chipper about it all. gave him some time off work and he was surrounded by cute nurses she left this morning, so i am a sad panda

my old dog had massive abandonment issues. we got her when she was 5 or so, because her previous family just left her behind when they moved. every time we moved house she would get absolutely terrified, and hide in the car so we couldn't leave without her. she was an awesome brittany spaniel and was about 18 when she passed

so New Zealand has won the Rugby World Cup to be honest, I'm just glad it's over at least the final wasn't held here in Wellington. town was full of drunken ****wits every night there was a game here - it didn't matter who was playing. so i would've hated to see what Auckland was like tonight with the final congratz to the team and all, but when i see newspaper websites saying stuff like "As at Mt Everest in 1953, and in 1987 at Eden Park, New Zealand is back on top of the world" that's just insulting. comparing a ****ing game of rugby to a pinnacle of human achievement

all i've heard about American Horror Story is people saying "oh my god the maid is so hot" so i'll admit i'm kinda tempted to investigate

had first day at new job today seems pretty chilled. just sat around talking about games and watching tv i could get used to this

went to a "sexy safari" party people dressed in... well not much at all to be honest, but there was some zebra print etc around somehow i ended up in a monk's robe. not sure how that relates to safari at all, but whatever took a friend who usually gets a bit anxious around people she doesn't know that well, but she seemed to be having a pretty good time. she proceeded to team up with someone to pin me down and pull my pants off, so maybe having the robe was a good thing lost her at one point though, but when i was outside i heard her calling out for me, so i hunted around and found her in the garden. she'd drunk a bit much and wasn't feeling very good, so i got hold of her boyfriend and he came and picked her up still, was a pretty good night
