  3. what a statement... Multiple installations of Java are not necessary and can be uninstalled separately. If you use Java to program, just keep the version you want to use (although you'd more likely have multiple versions of JDK, not only JRE), otherwise the latest one.
  4. I'm DMing a DnD 3.5-Campaign in a setting based on Ghostwalk and Faer

    Testicles

I tend to dislike violence even when its done to others. Strangely it is even more discomforting when it affects genitals... Why, oh why did you have to post this? Why did I read it?...
  6. project pitchfork - sin your soul will be free tonight
  7. You don't see much of a country by spending one day in one city Anyway, croatia is said to be very beatiful nature-wise, and quite interesting if you are a speleologist.
  8. Medieaval? Some (dict.leo.org suggests to translate "Tussies" with "bimbos", "birds" and some word for prostitute) dressed up for carnival... They seem to be as dark-age as the sunny day I see out of my window. I mean, blackmore's night is metalcore compared to these
  9. beck - black tambourine better now? (I now it has "black" in its title) [edit] e-pro is cooler, thogh...
  10. They're good, all gothy and such Atrocity - Ichor [edit] Right, why not some Moonspell? In and above men
  11. Aw, I was hoping Moonspell would show up at Summerbreeze, but they'll be in Wacken this year which is too far...

    Pride

congratulations! enjoy it, and make the other two involved enjoy it, too (I still won't heed your recommendation however )
  17. It did look and run significantly better on a Voodoo-Chip.
  18. Some liked Supreme Commander and Guild Wars (e.g. http://www.gsoundtracks.com/reviews/supremecommander.htm, you'll find other Soule-Reviews there). Funny that someone mentioned Quest for Glory, I had almost forgotten that I loved the QfG V-Soundtrack. My favourite has to be PS: T, followed by IWD1 (while IWD2 was a... sad sounding piece of software), Vampire: Bloodlines (Goth meets TripHop - totally great) and Total Annihilation. Also, BG1 and certain parts of BG2 as well as some of the Battlemusic in Etherlords1 just engraved their melodies in my head. [edit] How could I foget Zelda: Ocarina of time? The only console-game I've ever played through (on a borrowd N64). I was humming some of the tunes for months afterwards
  19. For a 3D-game, some scenes in Prey looked great. So did NWN2 in the right environment when seen from an angle and distance equal to the IE-games or in the Garius-Cutscenes. Enclave was the last game that caused a mental "wow" as a whole, but that was some years ago. Vampire: Bloodlines really looked amazing in some parts, but not everywhere like Enclave. In 2d-games, nothing could beat the atmosphere created by IWD 1's art (even if there are more detailed pre-rendered games). Torment's graphics never seemed beautiful, but interesting and moody - and it had some of the coolest spell-effects and animations of the IE-games.
  20. anathema - a simple mistake :'(
  21. deine lakaien - midnight sun
  22. I always knew I was gay. Thanks for pointing that out. well, I don't think I am (and my girlfriend is of the same opinion ), but I still chose NPC according to sympathy - and interaction can cause that or the contrary, can't it...
  23. witt & heppner - die flut
  24. I'm using these small sennheiser headphones, but never used them for transcribing anything. The reproduce music very detailed (although the bass seems a bit overpowered at first), so I think they should be ok for transcription too.
