  1. I used pick-pocket with Neeshka only once, and it was successful and very helpful: [edit]added spoiler-tags
  2. Heresy! Please don't compare ugly BG2-Avatars (except when wearing chainmail) to the cool NWN2 dwarves. I really liked those beards, this was a close second to my character generation highlight: half-orc faces. They were just incredibly detailed and so half-orcish I just wish there were one 'serious' looking dwarven beard for an NPC dwarf in the toolset, but for characters, the beards rock imo.
  3. Yeah, but it's not a well-formed sentence. It should either be "Byakuyas Bankai" just like in English but preferredly without apostrophe, or have an article before "Bankai" and no article but a "von" before Byakuya. Right now it translates to: "Yes, it is Bankai of the Byakuya." Ok, that was offtopic... On topic: What are these tubes on your image, Blank?
  4. cool, it's striptease-day today desktop pics, bis-pics, avatar and sig explanations... My avatar is a concept art of the transcendent one, and the sig is from some song lyrics, but it seems to be kind of a proverb. I just like the sentence, it's so... ironic and fatalistic at the same time. Or maybe it's just because it's English and I don't interpret it correctly
  5. There was no winter this year, but on my desktop there is
  6. many i don't remember, and many x-es that would've been interesting anyway, funny site.
  7. bokishi: is its music as good as total annihilation's was?
  8. What's strange however is that some of the NPC elves do look better (by human standards) than the ones selectable at character creations. Take Elanee's model, Deagun, Moire (I know she's not an elf, but she looks like one)... But in my opinion, the real tragedy are the poor half-elves if only the talented artists (talented judging by how other models look) adhered to the sketches and pictures in the PHB that looked visually appealing... Well, no game-stopper at all, of course. I like NWN2 very much, and I'd even play it as a half-elf (just probably with cha 8 or a skin colour that masks much, like most darker colours )
  9. 1 - 8 2 - 43 3 - 40 4 - 32 5 - 33 6 - 35 7 - 36 8 - 38 9 - 49 Well, too many too animated ones... Plus some of the ones submitted by me could mainly be used for flaming so my list is quite short.

    Who Would Win?

Kaneda of course. Classics always win Btw, I look at him as manga character as I never saw the anime, and I didn't want major to win, as being cyborg seems like cheating. Didn't know the others... So Kaneda it is.
  11. I like it. Didn't find the 'original' funny, the modern and PW-related one however... :D
  12. Well, have you watched some Character cast a high-lvl Spell (Lvl. 8 probably, Lvl. 9 )? The actually caster hovers above the ground (both feet not touching the ground). As I said above, I don't care if there is no actual bonus and all creatures can attack you as usual, as both could easily be scripted - if only they gave us scripting access to that hover-anmiation...
  13. Bauhaus - Kick in the eye
  14. I don't understand why there can't be a 'hover' spell, just for RP, as casting a Highlevel-Spell, for example, makes your character hover above the ground. Why can't this animation be made for some time longer than the casting animation? One wouldn't have to be able to fly where one can't walk, one wouldn't have to be allowed to adjust the height over ground for the hovering - just a lasting hover-animation for the sake of RPing in Multiplayer. Then there are birds. They have no visible connection to the ground, too. Probably I get it all wrong, but it doesn't sound like 'rewriting the engine' to me, as these things are already present in the engine...
  15. If it's really encoding the mp3's again, then there's a quality loss. Furthermore, that's a feature the audigy does have, too: CMSS, I think it's called there. If you have a nice piece of 5.1 speakers like the logitech z5500, you can activate thoughput (directly output the unmodified digital stream to the speakers to decode - supported by the audigy too), and they will do the job of spreading the sound to the speakers with various dolby-features. Conclusion: There's always something better than onboard sound (just my guess, haven't listend to intel's new solutions)
  16. There is that thing called 'normalizing'
  17. I was almost deaf on one ear after a concert, where I was next to a speaker for a while. A whole day of tinnitus followed, then the noise began to fade slowly and my ability to hear returned in the same pace. I was seriously afraid to have lost my hearing, because I was told that there's some kind of little inear-hairs that can't be regenerated once damaged. Well, it's okay again now, but I won't attend any concert without earplugs anymore.
  18. Everyone that did his military service (which is mandatory for men, but often avoided for mental or physical reasons, and optional for women) in an armed unit keeps his gun and one round of bullets at home, yes. Many homicies and most suicides with guns are made using SIG Sturmgewehr 90. It would probably result in quite a guerilla warfare, but as said before, you'd just need to destroy Basel or Geneva using one or two Stealth-Bombers (we have like five F/A 18 guarding our airspace, that takes half a minute to cross) and threaten to vaporize Z
  19. It was pretty clouded last night, but we did see the moon for more than just a few minutes. His colour changed from a red/grey in the lower right to lighter grey in the upper left... And when he left the earth's shadows, one realizes just how very bright he normally is! Coincidentially, we found Saturn while searching the sky a bit with our telescope. He's so cute, so small with his tiny rings and even tinyer moons Fortunately, I hadn't sold the telescope yet, and after last night, we might keep it. It was very beautiful (and cold)...

    new G-22

Guard Dog: pm4u Sand: Change the order of the first two words in your reply... Yeah, so funny. (I'm just bored, it's stupid, I know...) Eddar: What did you modify anyway?
  21. Second try, with proper linking: 1 this is so interesting *yawn* 2 oh, crap... 3 rocks. 4 hello! 5 cookie? 6 hm... 7 coffee 8 confused (similar Draken's No. 2, but without blinking and better visibility on black background) They'd all need some 'localization' to fit the smilie-style of this board, of course.

    new G-22

Uh c'mon, a weapon is something that easily creates aggression. And there were some non-bait things in my posting, that I'd like to repeat. Feel free to modify this post, if something's not ok with it. I think such a topic is just bound to cause emotions, so if those are not wanted, there's nothing wrong with the posts, but the thread as a whole... Eddo: Would it be possible to create one thread, like "eddo36's weapon gallery"? This would avoid reposting of the same comments... Another thing is, what is the interest in creating such a thread? Do you want to collect different opinions on you / the NRA / guns in general, or looking for support of your hobby or even antagonism? One other thing I wondered: How much money does your hobby cost you per year (if that is an allowed question. They'd ban me from my country if I asked this here )
  23. Well, if you did invade Switzerland, you'd have enough money to invade a nicer country... Although, if I look out of my window, there are not too many fortifications to see, more like lush meadows, wooded hills, a lake and some snowy mountains in the distance...
  24. Funny initial post! But some things I'd like to say/ask about it: 1. Wtf is Hilde? [edit] k, I got it, must have slipped my attention 2. Yes, at least under their own banner... In times long past, Swiss S
  25. 1 this is so interesting *yawn* 2 oh, crap... 3 rocks. 4 hello! 5 cookie? 6 hm... 7 coffee [8 oh, this has been posted already: draken, no. 2] They'd all need some 'localization' to fit the smilie-style of this board, of course.
