Ayreon - The human equation Can't stop...- Weird words
- Vista: Service Pack One
Hm, does it have something to do with pre-render-limits? I thought they were resticted in DX10, not 9? However, I may be totally confusing things- Vista: Service Pack One
I'll help you out with an argument: It is not that XP would be incapable of running more than two graphics-cards (or rather two gpus) as seen with the previous incarnation of quad-sli (2x 79x0GX2). It's an artificial limitation.- Headphones
Haha, same here For now, it's price/performance that matters... or rather, just price- The Music Thread
- RIP Charlton Heston
No, in Switzerland. Military service is mandatory for adult males, and the soldiers (except medics etc) are given a SIG SG 550 to take home with them. Ammunition, I just read it, has to be left at the arsenal since the beginning of this year, thanks to some controversy after some people were shot/commited suicide with the rifle, but is easily obtainable still. Apparently, most of the Swiss feel it's a tradition to keep that gun at home, just in case you have to shoot your wife, ahem, I mean, the enemy invaders... OK, this is quite off topic- RIP Charlton Heston
You clearly are more informed than I am, wanted to flame a little. Still, regarding the posession and use of a firearm as is a problem imo. And yes, I know that any man is potentially given a gun for free in my country. People here are thinking it a tradition to own a firearm, and are beginning to think it's a fundamental right to own one (for free, including ammunition). This bothers me greatly.- Headphones
A demanding audiophile would probably have to invest in a separate headphone amplifier, and would never consider such a thing as "surround headphones", I guess- RIP Charlton Heston
They're about the use of firearms, responsible or not. It's just a god-given right of any american to shoot anybody any time and never surrender their guns except from their cold dead hands, of which Mr. Heston now owns a pair Should be obvious why the NRA provokes aggressive reactions from people- RIP Charlton Heston
So he's dead. RIP, then, and enjoy it- The Music Thread

How's the new one, 1001101 (or something )? NIN - Only Yes, neat video.- Headphones
My little foldable travelling headphones Sennheiser PX 100 sound great for their price class. At first I thought it was a little weak in height-reproduction, but after you get used to the strong bass, you can hear every detail. It could be better of course, but it was the best sounding "portable" pair of headphones I had heard at that time, about three years ago. edited for grammatical reasons, hope it's better now...- What you did today
Been trying to rescue an old PC (2x10 GB HDD, one of which is corrupting data, Athlon 1100, 768MB Ram. Used to be a top performer ) many an hour today. Watched "Bedazzled" while chdsk was running and found it to be mediocre. Listened to the "Human equation" since and am loving it Fitting to the theme of Shrykes post, I found an old email of an ex on this PC. Strange, her too. Inviting me to Skype or something after we broke up for good...- The Music Thread
Ayreon - The Human Equation (Album) Got it at last, a present from my girlfriend. Actually it's superb! Only one or two tracks whose melody structure isn't clear after the second listening. Ah man, that's fun! I mean, I'm currently fixing my mother's PC (hdd is dying, bloated system etc), and with this music in the ear, it's even entertaining to restart the computer for the hundreth time.- The funny videos thread
This cart the girl is driving in reminds me of Need for Speed 2SE- Torture!
missing the most important option... Hell No.- Biggest nonsense you've ever seen from a game.
Hehe, I feel so l337 now that I see how many people had problems with that section in IWD2. Always got it fast enough, if not with wilderness lore and ingame hints then with map pins- Mark Morgan
Yeah, he calls the game Torment Planescape... Anyway: He didn't score all of Giants. In fact, I'm not sure whether any of his tracks appear in game, they certainly are on the Soundtrack CD. Most of it is a very mediocre showing of Soule, iirc. - The Music Thread
