More Reviews, What to expect
Is the PC version bug-riddled or something? Because I'm playing it on the 360, and through two play throughs I've yet to encounter the supposed plethora of bugs and glitches that are being complained about. So I'm trying to understand where these complaints are coming from. Edit: I'm asking in general, not specifically you, because you seem to share my confusion about this topic.

We need a sequel!
No thanks. I like having to decide whether to put points into improving my guns, otherwise risk not being able to hit anything from even a foot away. I have Modern Warfare 2 I can play if I decide I want to shoot things based entirely on my skills with a joystick.

We need a sequel!
I'd love a sequel set in the "AP universe", but I wouldn't necessarily want Thorton as the protagonist. Instead, what if Thorton becomes the handler of the new PC? That way it's still sort of "Thorton's story", but without having to deal with the level issues (ie. if you carried over Thorton from AP1, he starts off at a high level).

Early Impressions
I kind of wish there was at least one or two more hubs, to further expand on the characters you come across. I like multiple interactions with the characters I meet. And no, playing e-mail tag with Scarlet doesn't count as interaction.

Font size when reading e-mails
I avoided the tech forum because it appears to have Spoilers in it (judging by the forum title). I'm only a couple of hours in, so I don't want to accidentally stumble onto a thread in there discussing something major.

Font size when reading e-mails
I can't read 90% of the e-mails I receive because the lettering is so small and blurry. Is there any way to adjust the size of the font? Even squinting, with my face a foot away from the television set, doesn't do a thing. Weird thing is, I can read the font for everything else (ie. Dossier information, descriptions for the weapons/armour/etc.). It's just the e-mails where the text becomes so tiny and blurry it's unreadable. I'm playing on the 360, btw.

Dragon Age discussion
That's nuts how fast they're (BioWare) churning out games. On one hand as an impatient gamer, I kind of like it. On the other hand, it could lead to rushed releases.

Mass Effect 2 Discussion
That was my exact party setup as well. Miranda was that play through's love interest, Grunt was the squad's tank, and Jacob was pissing me off so if someone was going to die leading the rest of the survivors back to the ship, it would be him. All survived.

Mass Effect 2 Discussion
One thing that's been a minor annoyance for me -- during dialogue with various party members, some of them speak with a very Sean Connery-esque way of pronouncing any word with the letter 'S' in it. I'm not sure if it's my television speakers, a bad Mass Effect 2 disc, or what, but it's breaking my immersion in the conversation when the character sounds like they're whistling/echoing whenever trying to pronounce the 'S' sound. It's even more annoying since I seem to be the only one that experiences it!

What are you playing now?
Just picked up Call of Duty: World at War today. So far, I'm enjoying it. Yes, it's a lot like CoD4, but there are some decent changes, plus the different setting, add up to make it a worthy purchase.

BioWare/Lucas Arts game unveiled Oct 21
Based on the setting information, I think that's exactly what they did. How can KOTOR III be made (assuming you're referring to the Revan going off into the unknown regions plot) now, after this MMO takes place 300 years after the events of KOTOR and states that Revan left and never returned?

I log in when a topic interests me. Otherwise, I simply lurk.

BioWare/Lucas Arts game unveiled Oct 21
Well, reading the description of the setting, it looks like that pretty much eliminates even the slightest chance that a KOTOR III -- or a closure of the Revan saga -- will be developed. I'm disappointed for a couple of reasons. One, what can I say? I'm a fan of Revan. I thought he (yes, he) was an interesting character. So I dislike this "he left but never came back" vague stuff. And two, the MMO seems to kind of now use the events from the KOTOR series and shift it to suit their own story. I wish they'd have just set the game a few hundred years before the events of KOTOR, instead of afterward.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Agreed. So far, much too much time has been spent on the action/combat sequences, and very little on the actual dialogue system, and how they affect the overall game.

The sexiest preview ever.
How much do I have to pay to get Josh Sawyer's autograph with my copy of AP?

What are you playing now?
I probably will, but I'm not holding my breath. Each subsequent patch was supposed to at least improve the slowdowns, but I never saw an improvement on my system from patch to patch.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
I wasn't a big fan of the demo they showed, where the guy was sniping enemies in real time. It seemed too much like an FPS than even an Action-RPG. Of course, the footage wasn't all that long, and didn't encompass the entire game. So hopefully the rest of the game, such as dialogue and the sort, will make up for what I saw.

The sexiest preview ever.
How is your "I'm sure guys find it all exciting" bit any less a stereotype of all males than what you're objecting to? Oh, a guy must struggle to get women in real life, if he defends a feature where your PC can have sex with multiple women to get information out of them. How's that any less insulting than what you object to? For the record, I couldn't care less if Obsidian axed any and all opportunities to have sex with NPC females. It isn't a selling point for me, nor does it "excite" me. Depending on how it's implemented, I might even skip over it when I play, if it does come across as too cheesy. But one minor feature, no matter how silly I may end up thinking it is, won't scare me away from the game. And that's all it is, a minor feature that probably amounts to about 5% of the total options in the game.

So much for that. Slowdowns-a-plenty. Oh well, back on the shelf you go.

I'm giving The Witcher another shot. The game became unplayable due to slow downs once I reached Act III, so I'll see if the new patch helps me at all.

SW: MMORPG
For the record, I'm not trashing on a game that has very little, if any real, information yet. I was stating the reasons why I would not bother with it.

The sexiest preview ever.
I couldn't agree more. IMO, it's so silly to get bent out of shape and disregard an entire game based on one aspect of it, especially when that aspect is optional anyway. Unless I'm vastly underestimating the article, no one is forcing anyone to play as a womanizer. Not to mention, isn't that what real life spies do? Illicit information through sex? For someone who, in another thread, was going on about realism, it seems kind of silly to be upset about something that's "realistic" in terms of how the real life spy world works.

Out of curiosity, what kind of games do you want to play? What does appeal to you?
