DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
Heh, you know Witch Hunt failed utterly when even the big review sites (ie. the ones more likely to have "incentive" to give a good score) rip on it for pretty much the reasons those in this thread were disappointed with it. What was BioWare thinking? I mean, did they honestly believe that what they came up with would be in the least bit satisfying?

DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
I haven't felt this disappointed with a cliffhanger ending since Revan and the Exile went off in search of the True Sith and we never got a conclusion for that.

DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
To be honest, there isn't much to actually spoil because, well ... nothing is really revealed in the DLC. And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, that's what's so disappointing about it. If you went into Witch Hunt expecting to have whatever questions you had at the end of Origins answered, with regards to Morrigan, the Dark Ritual, and the various whys behind her motivations, you'll finish Witch Hunt with those same questions, as well as a couple more to go along with it. IMO, a horrible way to finish off the final Origins DLC.

New Neverwinter by Cryptic
No single player? No thanks.

Games you are looking forward to.
New Vegas is pretty much the only game I'm looking forward to for the rest of 2010. I'm getting tired of the Call of Duty franchise, so Black Ops doesn't hold much appeal to me, and the rest of selection isn't what I'm looking for.

DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
Yeah, it's not really an advert for DA2. I mean, there's vague discussion about Flemeth's real form/background and whatnot, but it didn't dominate the majority of the game. I do think the advertising for it was misleading, if nothing else. This is the blurb on the main site for Witch Hunt: At the very least, the bold part makes it sound like a]you'll find out why she took off/what secret she's hiding at the end of Origins that causes her to disappear and b]that the player will actually learn about it. Instead, neither happens at the end of Witch Hunt, and you (the player) are left with more questions. I also don't like the fact the main quest point in the DLC never even gets completed.

DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
Oh, I was fine with it pretty much until the end. It's just the lack of answers at the end that left me wondering what the hell the point of the DLC was. Edit for clarity: Or rather, why they bothered tacking on the "Morrigan's story" onto it. The DLC didn't answer any of the questions outstanding from Origins, introduced some new ones, and could have been just any adventure with two new companions without including Morrigan in it, for all it resolved.

DA - Witch Hunt (SPOILERS)
Wasn't the hope that this DLC would answer for us the dangling plot points regarding Morrigan after Origins? Not to mention there's no resolution to . That was incredibly disappointing and such a waste of time.

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
ME2's main plot areas reminded me of playing Halo, the parts with the Flood, and not in a good way. It's just a good thing the NPC sidequests were good.

Mass effect 2 and Dying True Rpgs
ME2's main story was weak and pretty boring, but I enjoyed the party sidequests (though it could be argued that was actually the main point of the game). ME1's main story was better, but ME2 did the party interactions and depth better. All IMO.

Dragon Age 2
I'll wait until the game is released to form a final opinion on the art/graphics direction, but I will say that at this point from what we've been shown I'm not impressed with their decision.

Fallout: New Vegas
Hmm, it's looking like I'll be taking a hiatus from this thread until the game is officially released. Too many hints at spoilers for my tastes.

Fallout: New Vegas
October can't come soon enough. I even re-installed FO2 and started a new game just because I'm in the mood for some Fallout action.

Dragon Age 2
Speaking of the Bio boards, I find it difficult to even browse the various threads on there. I can only stomach so many people making threads asking BioWare to turn Dragon Age into more of a Halo/God of War type action game.

Dragon Age 2
I chuckled at the caption at the bottom "Now just press 'A'".

Brian and Annie (Doublebear) making a zombie RPG: Dead State
This actually sounds pretty cool.

GameBanshee was always one of my favorite sites to go for walk throughs. Glad to see it's still keeping up to date.

Dragon Age 2
Speaking of Dragon Age: Origins, I see they're releasing that Morrigan DLC. I have to say, that's one of the only DLC I think I might enjoy.

Dragon Age 2
Hey, now. The Reaper in ME1 wasn't too bad. The Terminator clone in ME2, on the other hand ...

New MCA blog post: On Project Directors and Lead Designers
Zane Lyon sounds like it should be the name of Obsidian's next IP's protagonist.

More like Obsidian's previous games or more like Diablo ?
I think Mr. Chapman gets paid per smiley usage in each post.

Dragon Age 2
Is it that bad? I haven't replayed ME2 since before the Hammerhead was released, but I never imagined... Was wondering the same thing. I stopped playing ME2 before the Hammerhead was released.

Dragon Age 2
Obsidian should turn the King's Quest series into an updated RPG game.

Dragon Age 2
Hey guys, what's a Fed Ex quest? Anyone know?

Dragon Age 2
If you thought DA:O was bad to begin with, why would there even be a possibility of you liking DA2? Same company, same team working on it ... I mean, I would have figured it wouldn't even need saying that you'd pass on the sequel to a game you didn't think was good to begin with.
