Pazaak Blows
Pazaak was fun. By far the best of the three mini games and I think Pazaak was always optional as well, unlike the others. I spent quite a bit of time beating the NPCs at it until they give up playing anymore against me. :D

Who's writing style do you bother to translate?
Being Canadian myself, I have met a few Newfoundlanders. They have a distinct accent but I am not sure it's like that. In my opinion, in the written form, trying to come across as sort of accent or style never comes across well and in some cases people may just think you are not that bright as opposed to doing it on purpose.

Questions the the Devs - Take 2
Be that as it may, I would rather they implement more of the rules of WotC Star Wars D20 rules. For instance, more skills would be nice.

Planescape: Torment Sequel.
Only Atari could do a Planescape Torment sequel. I think they own the rights now, strangely enough. Will they? I doubt that very much but if they did they should give it to Obsidian to do. Only MCA should be the lead designer on it again.

Thief character?
Anybody can be taken down. Of course, a real Jedi would never allow himself to be in a position so obviously where he could be taken down in the manner you say.

Thief character?
I wouldn't say it's overrated. They are just different kinds of games and one or the other may not appeal to some people. I am currently playing Morrowind Game of the Year (a game that stresses freedom) on the XBox and am really enjoying it for instance (and I first played Morrowind on the XBox two years ago).

Thief character?
It wasn't a fault but rather the entire point of the game. It was the story that the designers of the game wanted to tell. Basically, if it didn't suit you, then move on and play games that suit you better. There is always a trade off between telling a good story and allowing the player freedom. The games with better stories by definition imply less player freedom. Both types of games have their strong points and fanbase (which may even overlap at the time depending on the whims of the individual gamers).

Hidden endings and codes for KOTOR2
What reason would you have to hate easter? Some companies even give you a day off (but not mine :@)

Something about the villian
I am not sure BioWare's current writers are even capable of writing an evil mastermind type character. Good thing BioWare aren't doing KOTOR2 I guess.

Hidden endings and codes for KOTOR2
I have heard about an easter egg ending in KOTOR1 where you engage Malak in a game of Pazaak. Never tried it. Given a choice, I'd rather they just improve the game itself and its ending though.
-
Day/Night transitions
I think they should have day/light cycles and transitions. It adds to the immersion factor rather than the mission based, linear feel I got from KOTOR1.
-
Day/Night transitions
But most places where human life can survive naturally are like Earth, at least in terms of general range of distance from the sun, rotation, etc.

The screenshots tell a different story.

NEW PREVIEW
Even in Baldur's Gate it wasn't a newbie character. You character's lineage was forced on you. You were the son of the god of murder.

Thief character?
Well aside from the fact that if I control the characters they aren't NPCs, these are all aspects that the devs should listen to for KOTOR2. Hopefully, they allow more choice in characters than KOTOR1.

Thief character?
I have to assume here you are kidding.

Thief character?
And that implies that all characters you play in the game are force users? Funny I seem to recall Mission and other characters I played in the original game (including the Scoundrel I played) who weren't that. Give the gamers who bought the game some choice in how they want to play it rather than the way you think they should play it.

NEW PREVIEW
If the story writers want to give the protagonist a story beyond what the player provides, they have little choice but an amnesiac type story. No surprise there. The key is how well it is told.

How skilled are you?
You have no basis here other than a wait and see approach. If you are not familiar with the technical ability of their programmers then you can't expect anything more until you see some results. Seems like a strange question to ask.

Interplay down - Obsidian act now!
- Avatar Size
The current size is a bit too small in my opinion.- Interplay down - Obsidian act now!
Nice theory. Not going to happen. Let's wait until Interplay finally kicks the bucket or sells of the franchise first.- Star Wars "Darth" naming convention.
It's a nod to the fact that Lucas chose Christopher Lee, whose most well known part he played was Count Dracula, to play the character.- Next project could be somethin new, right ?
Probably licensing an engine. Developing your own engine takes a lot of time and resources. I don't see how the Odyssey engine couldn't be adapted to other types of RPGs though. Some company adapted the Aurora engine from NWN to be the game Witcher for instance.- Suggestion on improving Kotor2 from Kotor1
Pretty doubtful. On the other hand I wouldn't mind a Star Wars RPG that was like Morrowind in size and style. It wouldn't be KOTOR though. - Avatar Size
