  1. Could mean cut-scene action B) No pun intended? Er, hehehhe
  2. Perhaps its a Jedi Knight 2 thing, the protagonist almost falls to the Dark Side so therefore decides to become out of touch with the force, as it were.
  3. As DS, Revan may make a cameo in a robe and a mask like in KotOR cut scenes. As LS, Revan will be dead. That's my theory, anyway
  4. I agree with Tyrell. My first play through in KotOR was as a sentinel, because I wasn't sure what to pick. I wasn't dissatisfied either... I mean immunity does come in useful when on the harder levels (Star Forge etc). Malak wasn't too hard, I admit he's easier as a full blown consular/guardian but in between it was a fair match. Then again, I never used sentinel after that...
  5. That just wouldn't be fun. The sith like to be more sporting thatn that.
  6. This reminds me of the time in KotOR1 where our PC forgot (s)he could use force jump over the acid pool on Korriban... EDIT: added the (s) :D

  8. I'd never seen this before, thanks for posting it up.
  9. Are you saying Orange isn't a colour, too?
  10. I have no qualms with the level size as such, I think it's just you want to feel as if you're actually on a PLANET. Taris did this pretty well, because although the actual levels weren't all that big, you felt a part of a bigger world, since you could see lotsa skyscrapers in the distance. Tatooine's desert was a good idea but the fact there were 'Czerka markers here! Can't go past or you'll die!' everywhere sorta ruined that experience. Let me die for venturing too far damnit! Korriban would've been better if you could see more vast canyons in the distance, etc. Manaan was acceptable considering it was one city on the whole planet. I never hada problem with Kashyyk apart from that Star Map being too 'findable', and the paths on the forest floor being too, 'path' like, I mean they could have stuck trees in between or something to make it feel like a forest.
  11. lol, yeah that was pretty funny imo. Same for Tatooine, nobody has ventured further than 200m from Anchorhead to find a Star Map :D At least Manaan and Korriban had some explanation.
  12. *Hangs head in shame*
  13. Sorry, I don't think they'll make a game where you can strip and run through the streets naked. You could always pray for a mod though. Um... thats not what I wanted. I wanted the ability to play a non-jedi. Most people knew that already. I think the phrase is having a laugh, or something to that effect What is the problem with becoming a Jedi? I know we've had a long discussion about this and quite frankly, it's NEVER going to happen in any KotOR game (presuming KotOR5 comes out in a few years, etc). Becoming a jedi doesn't really inhibit the experience, does it?
  14. LOL. Good ol' Chris and his read-up for 10 months. What a dude. I personally thought Bioware had set up a desk with 10 typewriters and a number of trained monkeys.
  15. Already vetoed. Sorry. Wrong. The FAQ: Could mean cut-scene action B)
  16. Deus Ex is a pure example of what RPGs should be like, and never at one point did I feel it was ridiculous either. I think that the endings in it were a bit lacking cos they were short, but it left much for the imagination and a thinking point with which to dwell on. On the other hand, there were times in KotOR which did feel a bit, well, uncomprehensible. Saving the galaxy on the whole seemed so cliched it was difficult at points to relate to the character and what the game was for. And ugh ugh ugh horrible endings for KotOR, just, quite unfulfilling. I think KotORII is going in the right direction with the darker tone. I want the PC to have an involvement that is perhaps less subtle in saving the galaxy once again, such that you aren't overwhelmed by the whiff of cliches. Please! Make the endings longer, more fulfilling, I don't want hoardes of plastic cut outs cheering me. I want to see the effects of my actions. Anyway, now I'm rambling.
  17. I'd love to see somebody make a video of them fighting Malak unnarmed and winning! :D And as for 'grabbing' the lightsaber out of your belt..... noooo way. I want to force pull it into my hand, ala Yoda episode II
  18. Hmppf, seems you beat me to it Didn't notice. Must've been because I had this window lurking around for a while. And question 5 I presume you mean 'Who makes the coffee'
  19. To explain the Jedi Order being wiped out: shortly after the events of KotOR1 and the light side ending, Bastila used her battle meditation in a key battle between the Republic and Sith remnant. Consequently, the sith won and amassed a huge following. It turns out that Bastila was looking at the red dots on the strategic map, not the blue ones...
  20. 1. Does the main character have amnesia? :D .. But seriously: Sith Lords has claimed it is going to take on a much darker feeling than the original Knights of the Old Republic. How significant is this going to be in the new storyline and what is it going to involve in the gameplay? Will there be any unexpected surprises?
  21. Will there be parts of the game where single NPCs are used, ala the Leviathan escape? I really enjoyed playing as the other characters, even if for a short while and would like to see this utilised more in KotOR2. However, I don't know everybody else's opinion on that.
