Do we *need8 another D&D game? No. Do I *want* one? Yes., Why not. Some of my favorite games are D&D ones, and D&D has beena fave past time of mine for almost 20 years so why wouldn't I want more? What a silly question.

Bioware is not your typical console game maker either. For that matter, they aren't your typical PC game developer either. It'd be like comapring Squaresoft to the typical console agme maker, Blizzard to your typical PC game developer. Just wouldn't make sense. I do, agree, hwoever, it makes ense to have more than one person making a game nowadays sicne games *are* much more compex now. That said, i also agree that Ultima is bettee than the majhority of games that come out today, yesterday, and probably in the future too.

Well.. if you want the *classic* definition that it would be only dungeon crawlers cosndiered role-playing agmes as that's what "classic" role-playing was accoridng to the "founding father" of the "genre". I'd rather not do that. I say, if in doubt, check the definition in the dictionary. I mean the dictionary is always right, right? Anyways, I'll just go by my own anrrow midned definition. That's funny. You see no reason yet BIo has given the reason for it multiple times. You ain't looking hard enough I guess. And, oh btw, I actually agree with you here. I'd rather you'd be allowed to kill whoever you choose and suffer the consequences. That, however, doesn't change the fact that there's an obvious reason why it's done that way.

Nightblade: How 'bout all the games you downloaded, played a bit, and then didn't buy? Hmm... Or better yet, if the price is too expensive; just wait a stickin' year when the price drops. That way you get both a cheaper price, a more stable game due to patch(es), and if you land up not liking the game you ain't out of lots of dollars. As for TOEE; you DO realize there was a good 6 hour demo for that particular game? And, NWN the Most Expensive PC Game Ever tm also had a demo a few months after its release. I mean, does no one have patience or what? Tsk, tsk. It's not like the games are gonna dramatically change if you wait a few months, or even a year after their release to buy them, after all.
