  1. Watchman. Sound slike the perfect prestige class for Sentinels the best Jedi class so they match up nicely.
  2. "why no fat npcs? i mean, yeah, everyone has to fight to live, but pulling a blaster doesnt take very much strength?!?!?!?! i mean a fat gangster (not a hutt for once ) or sumthing" Not for your party. A fat person might be able to shoot a gun as well as anyone but fat people are not known for great stamina and sicne youa re running all over the plae and having to dodge bullets and sabres and the like they would just slow the party down and get you killed. At best they'd make good jet fighters and even then that's pushing it. They're best being PCs sitting down at the computer stuffing their face with chips while playing KOTOR2. R00fles! I only half kid. I am mean. I am sorry.
  3. Well.. Mission annoyed me... Why, you ask? No 15 year old jail bait alien should be that HOT looking to an old geezer almost twice her age! That's very annoying as it annoyingly gave me the willies when evil thoguhts crossed my mind! :"> <>
  4. Green. Green RULES all!
  5. "Sorry Vol," Why apologize when you don't mean it? And, no, if it was meant to be a such a surprise there wouldn't have been so many clues given. And, i seriosuly doubt those clues were alld ropped my mistake. They were obviously meant to lead players to the possible conclusion. I think it was meant to be more of a 'twist'. Not all 'twists' should be a complete surprise. I'd rather have a twist where are clues thata re dropped than just some surprise that comes out of the blue for absolutely no reason. Those are even worse. It took you 4 planets to completely firgure it out. it wasn't easy; deal with it.
  6. ... "I said Kashyyyk convinced me. I started suspecting it after Taris." Suspecting means nothing. "Did i ever call it an easy secret?" Did I ever say you did? It was obviously that was directed at Pope, silly goose. Don't get so defensive.
  7. "Which means if you don't count Taris and Dantooine it is the second planet" So, he was basically half way done the game espicially sicne Taris is eaisly the longest lasting planet and it *was* the 4th planet as its silly to ignoe the first two planets other in some lame point. Bottom line is it took you 4 planets to "figure out" the so called easy secret. Not exactly easy then was it? R00fles!
  8. Still, that makes it 4th planet.
  9. Carth was awesome. Awesome to make fun of. Muahaha!
  10. "And I did Kashyyyk second in my first game" Really? How you managed that? isn't one force to do Taris, and Datooine first and second respectively? If this is so and I am remmeber correctly; how cna oen take your statements seriously when you are making things up?
  11. "They all use a lightsaber" That's right. Every fighter who weilds a longs word is the same. R00fles!
  12. "+3 Con is not that useful in the game." Uh? You jokin' right?
  13. "What trolls? All the force using classes play the same." No. No, they don't. Don't worry you aren't the only troll either. Who cares if this is a 'repeated post'. If one thinks its repeated then simply don't reply. Period. I haven't answeRed or seen a thread like this for months so it's 'relatively' new. P.S. That last paragragh was not directed you hADES.
  14. "I noticed all the hints and such over use of foreshadow that is in KotOR is prime example of amateur writing and design." No. Sure, the hints were there. But, that doesn't mean it was 'amaeture writing and esign'. After one reads your professional game reviews; one learns not to take your opinions on shoddy writing toos eriously (much like my poor typing skills!). Amaeture design would be if these hints were so outthere they didn't fit or they were accidental which is seriously doubt. I can't judge how good they were of giving it away though sicne I was spoiled on the net pre relase as were you most likely Mr. One. You didn't figure it out because youa re some Uber Genius; you figured it out because you read some spoiler post months before the PC release; but nice try. "For once, I'm with Hades on this one. I saw the twist coming miles ahead. The hint you got on Kashyyyk just before the Star Map was the one that convinced me. There were too many hints, and most of them weren't subtle enough." From your description, the hints were done well. Kashyyk was what planet for you? 3rd or 4th? seems fair enough to me.
  15. Ignoring the trolls above me.... I'll be Sentinel/Watchman.
  16. I figure I'll rate it around 8.0 - 8.5 I figure profession reviews will rate it from 8.5 - 9.5.
  17. "I just think that if you are going to use an official product and make an official derivitive of the product it must be as close as possible to the original product. House rules have no place in official products. May it be DnD, SW, or whatever. " WOTC apparantly disagrees with your assessment and sicne these are THEIR products; they rule.
  18. "I don't. Follow the rules of the game or the game is nothing. I prefer the method stated in the Star Wars d20." Eh. Do you prefetr the pnp rules just because they came first or because theya re better. i hope you realize that just because certain things came first doesn't make them better. PNP SW does some things better than KOTOR; and KOTOR does some things better than PNP SW. That is all.
  19. It would eb great and have your actions/interatcions with the apprentice to play a role. He shouldn't automatically be "forced" to betray you in story terms but it should be a possibility.. Sweet.
  20. "Sorry, but this isn't DnD. It is Star Wars and Star Wars d20 has a level limit. It is balanced for that level limit." Haha. I just got the d20 SW rulesbook. And, guess what? I automatically changed that rule. There is no level limits. However, it'ss et around 100 years after Episode 6 and I seriosuly doubt my players will ever get to level 20 anyways but the possibility though low is there. My major campaign plot line makes sense for there to be "epic" levels. Besides, after now actaully rading and playing SW pnp; KOTOR switched so many rules I don't think them extending it into "epic levels" will make a big deal. Heck, just the way KOTOR handles force powers in comaprison to pnp SW is huge. What's funny is I prefer KOTOR's way of doing force powers...
  21. I like Sentinels. I don't find themw eak at all and are as good as the other Jedi classes. Immunity stuff is really good because with them you don't have to waste items or other stuff protecting yourself from stun etc.
  22. "Basically, I have this impression that GH is lower in magical items while FR is like , "free magic give away" style." This is simply wrong. All one has to do is try out an old Gh module to see how high magic it really is. It's really no better or worse
  23. Obi- Wan. And, of course MY Revan. Yoda is okay but overrated just because he's "different". It doens't take a lot to be powerful when you live for a 1000 years.
  24. "The game really hasn't been hyped much." Um. You gots to be jokin'. KOTOR2 has been hyped just as much as KOTOR if not more so. It's also a lot easier to hype it when you can put in "Seuqel to the tope selling and critically acclaimed KOTOR is coming out soon and it'as even better!" That = insta sells = supe rhype. As for reviews, the score really isn't that important in the long run. I notice that even reviews with variant scores (ie. 9.5 - 8.5) will usually pin point the good and the bad almost in sync. the emat of the artcile discussing the features not the opinions is what really matters.
  25. Or neither..
