No. And, I'm not just being spiteful. The game is very buggy. Alas, I've had to fight my way through the stupid bugs to get to this point. I'm not far from finishing, and I doubt I'll have the motivation to play a second time. I've seen the story and since that's the case I have no reason to play a seocnd time. Basically, the patch will come too little too late.

They don't need to be babysat. if there's soemthing in KOTOR2 I dislike I will state that fact. If there's soemthing in KOTOR2 I like; I will state that fact. No mercy when it comes to spending my $50+. I doubt LA forced them into using the lame random loot gernerator, or the super easy combat; or many other things in the game. It's wayyy to easy to blame all the bad stuff on the Big Bad Evil Publisher.

I liked two of their games; but they failed. It's their fault. No mercy for fialures. Hoepfully, they've learned from their experiences and move on. Don't maker up myths, rumours, and innunedo. Games get amterial cut all the time. Kotor1, for exmaple, had things cut as well including an entire planet. This isn't anything new or special or unique.

The companion AI is horrendous. 25% of the time in battle, the companions just stand there looking foolish and don't even participate. Those with guns aren't so bad here; but meleers seem to be on stupid juice. "Really, how much fun would it be if one started as a full Jedi?" Um. You start as a level 1 Jedi. And, you even have like 6+ free feats. Not to mention, you were a War General so you obviously should have been skille din battle even without force powers so should have beena solider (or even a scout) at the start and multi classed into Jedi at a certain time. Not to mention the fact that you are no longer a Jedi... Overall, it's a decent game. In some areas it's good or very good; but so many things - easy combat, play balanced, nonsensical dialogue, retarded characters, a plot point that is illogical... that it doesn't reach the heavens..

As for story; I don't think it's the best ever; but it is solid and trolls like Monte Carlo as well as actual human beings underrate its quality because they expected some perfect game. "I'm a player. There's a difference, and trust me from a player's perspective, NWN is a huge, steaming, festering, overrated terrine of horse merde. So, if you like making mods you'll enjoy NWN. But, then agin, you tend to ignore the fact and just call them braindead or fanboys. But, hey, take a fit everytime someone says they like the OC. Just don't suffer a seisure. Torment is more about ubermunchkinism that the Bgs eries. Afterall, you have to have intelligence/wisdom/charisma of 1 mil+ to get the juicer titles. And, it's all about the phat loot like the talking skull artfiact you recieve right at the start.

It's good; but I give the slight edge to KOTOR1. Less plot existencies, and though the combat was easy in that one too at least it wasn't ridiculously easy.
