Heh. Why?

"But isnt the graphics part the HARDEST to change?" Well... The Aurora Graphics Engine has or is being changed with both the Wicther and NWN2. And, as we can see with the Witcher; the graphics are pretty impressive.

EVIL UPDATE: Things are taking a little long than expected so just to let people know that things are still progressing; I'm gonna post the Wizard List for Monster Summoning spells from levels 1-8. Level 9 spells are TOP SECRET. Also, other interesting summoning spell facts: - duration is 2r/l - multiple summons allowed (if the scripters I'm gonna bug say it's possible which I'm sure it is) - 25% chance out of the 4 monsters per level - also of note, every single monster that is summoned while based off a pre existing ones all have differents stats, abilties, and equipment (if aplicable). For exmaple, don't expect a summoned umber hulk to be exactly like a 'typical' NWN umberhulk... Here goes the list: Level 1: Kobold, Fire Beetle, Goblin, & Nixie Level 2: Salt Mephit, Steam Mephit, Dryad, & Pixie. Level 3: Ogre, Bugbear, Minotaur, & Gargoyle. Level 4: Dwarven Warrior, Elven Wizard, Halfling Rogue, & Gnome Cleric. Level 5: Manticore, Umberhulk, Werewolf, & Sword Spider. Level 6: Troll Berserker, Ogre Mage, Ettin, & Invisible Stalker. Level 7: Fire Giant, Frost Giant, Kobold Commando, & Intellect Devourer. Level 8: Dwarven Champion, Elven Bladesinger, Hlafling Assassin, & Gnome Illusionmaker. Other things I've been working on is finishing upd ialogue, and lots of typo fixing... Have fun.

NWN graphics are awesome. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know graphics. It's that simple. And, the Aurora isn't limited to a set number of npcs/henchmen in the aprty epsicially since HOTU. You can have HUNDREDS of henchmen if you so wish. Of course, no computer would be able to handle that. LONG LIVE NWN & AURORA! LONG LIVE NWN2 AND IT'S HORSIES, AND SUBRACES TOO! LONG LIVE THE WITCHETAS AS WELL! down with the already dead jefferson engine

do jedi kill their prisoners
Volourn replied to dewaybe2678's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Celine Dion is kewl; you fools. -
"would be exceptionally grateful if in the middle of a diatribe, you would be clear on which person you are quoting where in your post." We don't always get what we want. I would be exceptionally grateful if someone were to hand me 1 mil in cash no questions asked; but ti ain't gonna happen.

"Perhaps you just can't accept that such a simple observation would destroy your entire moronic tirade?" How can one who posts so little; troll so much? "considering you still haven't answered the question how you knew" If you couldn't figure it out before the end of the first section that just shows your ineptness. Not mine. "but I think she is written with a lot of depth that happens to be more subtle" She's neither deep, or subtle. She is obvious, and shallow. She's a good character; but is not that impresisve. The Exile is NOT a Jedi - true or otherwise - unless you make that chocie during the game. And, Kreia above anyone, KNOWS this. Kreia is also 100% hate. She hates everything including and espicially the Exile. Afterall, he has what she cannot have. And, she is jealous. This shows during her little rantings when she FORCEFULLY intrudes into your mind.

JE > KOTOR series And, JE does influence better than either KOTOR as unlike KOTOR2 it doens't throw it at you in BOLG LETTERS. "just part 2 gets the nod because it wasnt as predictable" R00fles! Part 2 was completely predictable. Anyone who didn't KNOW that Kreia was the main bad girl ebfore the end of the first section wasn't playing the game. "slightly larger (with greater replay value) then part 1." Same size. Replay value was the same = 1 time through. "JE could have been better then both but Bioware missed the boat by having influence only matter in love stories (other characters stories you learn by just speaking to them often)," This is blatantly false. Perhaps, you completely missed certain other character that you can influence aka Wild Flower. "and game was far to small content wise (as I said, 20 hours to play and that includes watching all the cinematics and listening to the voices).." Length wise it was short comapritvely. CONTENT wise it was sabout the same. It just gets rid of useless battles (mostly), and no more retarded inventory matrix. And, JE was closer to 30 hours than 20 hours. JE has better graphics, music, characters, combat, items, balance, quests, meaningful choices, endings, and replay than either KOTOR. The only things KOTOR series wins on his 2 npcs at once, non combat skills (though JE has THREE dialogue skillz), and length (barely).

"Go figure." Yeha, go figure. I also knew some Obsidian fnaboy peon would post what you did. Look at my awesome forsight. Or is that foreskin? R00fles!

EB in North Bay.

If Malak is dumb; then Kreia must be retarded. Afterall, she was 'pretending' to be your 'ally' yet had 'BIG BAD BOSS' printed on her robe. At least Malak was SUPPOSED to be the obvious main villain in KOTOR.
-
"Kreia could very well have loved the Exile, she just thinks love is a one-way adoration of her tangled personality-free zone. Scary, but unfortunately true." Kreia is many things; but she isn't crazy. She knows exactly what she is doing, and does so willfully. It's not like she she doens't mean to hurt the Exile or doens't understand why she does so. She's not some drunk who can't control their temper when under the influence. She is control. She is just plain hateful. "She loves him as a "valuable Thing" and not as a living person" That's not the same as the love that others are talking about. That's like Papaltine 'loving' Vader because of the power he brings. A means to an end. "He is the TRUE last of the Jedi" No he isn't. He's not a Jedi, and Kreia KNOWS this. The Exile hasn't been a Jedi in years.

1 years old. "No need to rub it in Silvershadow; just because you don't want to be identified with those of us much older than you ..." No need to cry about it. It's not like one can avoid aging unless they die young which is normally nor preferable. Afterall, nobody becomes longer. We all get older no matter... except in the future ...

Should People With Disabilites Be Forced To Work?
Volourn replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Way Off-Topic
"If they are restricted to a wheelchair then they aren't going to gain access to any nightclubs, so they would in fact be more productive than 85% of the workforce as they wouldn't take sickies for hangovers. " LOL "think disabled people should be given preference for any work they want to perform. Positive discrimination." As far as I'm concerned, outside of hiring the most qualified, there is no such thing as positive descrimination. Period. If a cripple wants to get a job they should have to prove that theya re the most qualified and most worthy amongst all the candidates. -
Should People With Disabilites Be Forced To Work?
Volourn replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Way Off-Topic
"if someone is missing an arm or a leg then they are atleast suitable to do office work and not manual labour" Eh. Going by the employer's point of view; someone missing an arm or a leg will likely be less efficeint than someone who has all body aprts espicially time wise. Of course, I am sure there are exceptions to this rule.. -
Weird. In Kanada, the price has dropped from $70 to $50. Good stuff.
-
Meh. They pay a decent wage and they give good prices. Good on 'em. Oh, you eman they get cheap stuff from other countries? Boo hoo.
-
Hey, I didn't create the character. I'm just reacting to what I witnessed in game. Afterall, people claim that Kreia 'loved' the PC yet her entire interaction with said PC was an effort to use the Exilt for her own selfish gain. That's not love. As for my mother, she's cool.
-
"she said it herself in the final battle." Ha. Kreia is a know liar. Why would I believe her? She loved no one. Not even herself. "As emotions Love and Hate are not so divorced as to be polar options. It is not uncommon for people to have both feelings -- in different proportions -- simultaneously." True; but Kreia is not human. She is born to do one thing - hate. Hate, hate, hate. She isn't that complex of a character. Hate, hate, hate.
-
Waaa.. Wal Mart is evil. Boo hoo hoo. No, Wal Mart is awesome. As for the game, I don't play SW games. KOTOR series is an exception, of course.
-
"Its the publisher that sets the deadlines, not the developer. I would think people would know this by now." It's the devloper who agrees to the deadline and isgns th contratc due to greed in wanting a big IP like SW pimping their game.
-
Malak would win. Kreia is so obvious in her betrayals; Malak (or anyone) could se eher betrayals coming miles away. Meanwile, Malak betrayed Revan and Revan - as 'smart' as he was - didn't see it coming. At the same time, Kreia was so obvious that EVERYONE *knew* she was untrustworthy; but the game forces the player to remain retarded in order to keep the plot moving forward. Lame. "Kreia loved the Exile because (s)he had the power to bring the end of the force" Kreia loved no one. not even herself. She espicially hated the Exile. Her actions prove this. She hated him; because he was not her. Hate. hate. hate. That is her only motivation.

Would you buy KOTOR if it wasn't Star Wars?
Volourn replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I bought KOTOR in spite of its SW name; not because of due to Bioware developing it. -
Volourn's Final Jade Empire Review: I Am The Law!
Volourn replied to Volourn's topic in Computer and Console
"I could see a CF destroying the wheel and setting the Water Dragon free as that in itself would bring balance back" Eh. There is good enough reason to complain about CF as it isn't handled it perfectly; but complaining that it doesn't set the balance is silly. CF is neutrality or about balance. -
