Sold very well, got great reviews, won RPG of the Year awards, was rather high on a top 100 games of all time list; but yeah; LA is so horrified because whiners like us on the 'net cried a bit. Seriously. Even KOTOR with all its rewards, high scores, and fans had its share of haters. I seriously doubt LA does business by paying real close attention to idiotic internet geek morons. As for phat loot, every single CRPG I have ever played from the GB box games to the IE games to KOTOR series to FO series all have too much phat lewt. Thems the breaks.

KOTOR2 was as black, and white as it gets and there were no surprises yet you were forced to travel with kreia despite knwoing she was as evil as she come. You did not have to think in KOTOR at all. Everything was handed to you on a golden platter.

Actually, all games charge for expansions. That's my point. GW is free other than the obvious purchase of the actual game which makes total sense yet a certain someone is trying to imply that GW has some sort of hidden cost.

Not in the way you suggest. Someone getting 20 more points of strnegth because they'r eaprtnered up with another specific person is nothing but powergaming, and sure as heck doens't happen in REAL pnp role-playing; not your pretend stuff. It's munchkiny plain and simple outside of a few moral boosts here and there as situational boosts. Anything else is not role-playing; but munchkiny and powergaming.
