  1. BIO is where theya re because of the decisions they made. Where is Black Isle, btw? If BIow as so dependent on them why hasn't BIo collapsed without them? BIS did their part as the PUBLISHER and deserve credit for that. Nothing more; nothing less.
  2. They seemed to be able to get you to buy KOTOR2 in its 'incomplete state'. L0LLERZ! :D
  3. Obsidian fanboys would LOVE that! :D Then again, at least LA knows what it is doing and aren't in danger of collapsing. "
  4. Well.. Interplay was the publisher of NWN for like 3-4 years before Atari took over so they obviously had some input in its development.. Feargus always (seemingly) worked closely with BIo as evdienced by how well they get along.
  5. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/30/infogram...atari-disposal/ WOWSERS! The best thing for NWN2 and Obsidian is for a new publisher to come in, imo. Atari is sadly a sinking unrideable horse.
  6. "Are you sure of that?" Sure about what? What I wrote? Of course, I am, or otherwise I'd have not wposted it.
  7. Cool. Looks good. Certainly better than anything found in the ES games, and more in line with NWN/KOTOR2/IE/FO. Thankfully, it's not like Oblivion or the silliness with what ME looks to be like dialogue wise...
  8. IIRC, Interplay also wans't played with how long NWN was taking so maybe they were 'threatening' to pull the plug. I'm not sure; but I think Interplay even stopped funding the game and BIO started funding it themselves (prior to getting Atari on board) so that's what the article meant by 'pull the lug'. Obviously, just like Atari now, Interplay was rather desperate for cash so likely was pushing BIo to release NWN right awya hence why Interplay 'bragged' about how much money they got from Atari for it. LOL If only they knew what we know now... R00fles! P.S. This is all from the dark recesses of my memory so I could easily be off base or inaccurate..
  9. Want to talk about wishful thinking? Try this: http://nwvault.ign.com/fullstory.php?id=17878
  10. The other two are mysteries. P.S. They could be BIO made ones...
  11. Leave my wii alone... or soemthing goopy will... anyways... Sucks to be the original poster! Muahaha! (w00t)
  12. Hmph.. I much prefer mouse focused games. Much more fun than those who force ya to use half the keyboard... As for the video, it looks good. Much like NWN2, you can see specs of the Aurora style shining through - just with way better graphics... The Witcher despite its 'limitation' of only one kind of PC is shaping up to be a rather neato game.

    Crazy dog

Eh. I don't blame him. Consideirng the way the people were laughing at him, no wodner he went nuts. And, cats can do crazy things to.
  14. Word games. I gotta love them. I should start all my posts with ;one might argue' and claim I'm not making the argument; but 'one might argue'. LOLOLOLLIPOP
  15. No. That's a myth. They got rights to some IWD related materials, I believe. certain people ran with that and claimed it meant Obsidian owned IWD. If they *did* own IWD franchise, at the very minimum, you'd see their name mentioned in this upcoming release. P.S. Arkan 4 THA W!
  16. Oh. LOL Kinda figured. :D Anyways, as far as the actual topic, it's real simple. if you find games (or any pasttime) a 'waste of time' then simply don't do it anymore. Game over.
  17. The same reason you reply to me even as you say it's useless to, perhaps?
  18. Aye, he's bigger than a simple moderator.
  19. Atari obviously disagrees hence this and their fear of NWN1 being a threat to NWN2. LOL :D
  20. No, the real Sign of the Apocalypse is you posting this: "the gully dwarf makin' sense wit' a well thought-out an' dead-on-the-money perspective" :D
  21. And, for those gamers who weren't around when the games were released - afterall it's been nearly 10 years since BG1 so that's pretty much a whole new generation of gamers. I say more power to Atari in this case.
  22. "If there is support for NWN1 that is giving NWN1 more content than NWN2 will have at retail why buy that sequel?" Waita sec! I thoguht the masses only want better graphics? This is one thing that is undisputable that NWN2 offers that NWN1 doesn't. Also, the masses only play the OC which NWN2 also offers - a new OC... The masses don't buy PM. The masses likely dumped NWN1 3+ years ago. Anyways, the last thing that really needs to be said on this issue: The fact that Atari finds a 4 year old game like NWN a threat to a brand new, graphics enhanced sequel like NWN2's financial success is the greatest compliment Atari can give to BIO and NWN1 and the greatest insult they can give to Obsidian and NWN2. What a bunch of yokers they are! Thankfully, I have much more confidence in Obsidian and NWN2 than its own publisher does. LOLOLOLOLLIPOP R00fles! Game over.
  23. "Which part of "partly right" is it that you don't understand?" Of course, that wasn't your initial argument. Here'a s quote just for you: Mkrkeu wrote: "One might argue that since 4 of Nintendo's 5 titles are among the 6 best of all time (with only a Dreamcast game and a Playstation game breaking the dominance) the guy with the big Nintendo boner is right." There was no 'partial right' there was there? Nor was anyone disputing Nintendo's popularity.. just that it didn't have the most popular game of every generation with absolutely no doubt. Now, you are just backpedaling so now you are saying 'partially right'. Make up your mind... exactly what comments were you defending K from, again? P.S. The picture is coming clear. You can settle it once and for all!
  24. "Sadly after my defending Atari for pulling the plug on NWN, I am playing the NWN OC right now. I
