I'll say one thing: Oblivion looks MUCH, MUCH better graphically than MW - at least in screenshots. P.S. The 'swim glitch' screenshot is hilarious! :D

As long as JE is backwards compatable (which it is), I have no worries when I buy my x-box 360 sometime next year. R00fles!

The bottom line is that Diablo's story did not matter so, in essence, the story didn't exist at all. No one plays Diablo for the story. No one.

POR2 was horrible. the only RPG as bad as it was likely DTU. To say it's better than any other game than that one automatically means you overrate POR2. Game over.

The difference between those games and Diablo however is that in those games the story mattered; in Diablo it doesn't. I doubt one person can honestly say they played Diablo for the story. Not one.

To comapre Diablo's 'story' to IWD's is laughable beyond belief. Now, back to your arrogance of blaming the player for Diablo's poor story telling skillz.

No. the problem with Diablo's story is that it means nothing. It ha ssouls. No purpose. The game is about combat; the story is just there as a tie in. It has no soul. Just ask someone why they like Diablo. Then ask someone why they like PST. More often than not for Diablo it's the mass killing and combat. More often than not for PST it's the story and characters. That's why people bash Diablo's story. It's because it is pretty much irrelevant to the game or the gamer. Heck, let's take a game I like and more than a few here hate - the NWN OC. What do people usually complain about when hating on it? They dislike the story and characters is usually the prime targets. Those who like the OC (including me) tend to like the story and characters. That's why even if you hate NWN; youa re admitting that NWN's matters. The same cna't be said for Diablo's story. IT gives very few people any enjoyment from the game. P.S. I like Diablo myself. Not a favorite of mine. But, you wanna know what I remember about the story? That your ultimate go is to kill Diablo after killing billions of his minions, and other monsters. WOWSERS! Game over.

Someone must like them. They have somehow managed to survive the diaster known as LH. Can't say the same for BIS... though their games surely aren't for me... "Volourn, Lionheart is far far far worse than any of the TES games. Its worse than Gothic even. Frankly, Lionheart has to be the worse CRPG, let alone worse game, I have ever played. I rather play Diablo than Lionheart." Wrong. But, hey, you are the one with bad taste likeing games such as TES series, POR2, DD, DTU, and the list goes on which are ALl much worse than LH.

Still, many games are much worse including ones that Hades likes. *cough* ES series *cough* IOt should be noted as well that while Reflexive deserves a lot of the blame; they didn't get much help from their pub;lisher eitehr sicne they chose the wrong time to get signed by Interplay/BIS to make a game since that company and division were on the way down as well.

Final Fantasies, EA Sports games, BGDA + copy cats, and wrestling games (espciially SD series which has some rpness in them) are the best PS2 games.

Pretty much every one here is an 'elitist gamer'. That includes Still Life, Eldar, Alanshu, and myself. Just admit it - we all look down at those who like games we don't or don't like game we do. Game over.
