  1. I want this so much now. I can only imagine that animating it is a nightmare, though!
  2. There is an option in the "Game" tab called "AoE Highlighting" or something like that. You can turn that off to disable AoE and cone targetting. There is another option referring to "Selection Circles" - I'm not sure if that is currently hooked up to the engagement lines, but it probably will be. If you want to play with no in-game HUD elements, you can use Ctrl-H to hide the whole thing. We didn't intend for you to play the game this way, but if you hotkey all the abilities you need, you could do it.
  3. In BB 333, we added the ability to bind hotkeys to abilities on each character's ability bar. Are they useful? Did you even figure out that this was an option? Your feedback here.
  4. Good points, PH. Dave implemented shift-queuing last week, I believe you can do it with pretty much any action or spell.
  5. That's definitely something we'd like to improve when we have time. There are plentiful keyboard shortcuts for switching characters in UIs (1-6 keys, Tab/Shift+Tab, arrowkeys), but the only mouse-only way is via the arrows next to the character's name (which I'm sure nobody ever notices).
  6. Attacks that have secondary effects make an additional attack to apply those effects, as long as the first attack doesn't miss. For example, a poison attack might make a primary roll against Deflection - then, if that doesn't miss, the attack will make a secondary roll against Fortitude to apply a poison effect. The secondary effect can miss, graze or crit independently of the primary attack.
  7. Looks like a bug, unfortunately. Probably related to the new ability tooltips. Does inspecting the item with right-click show them?
  8. Yes, now I have committed myself to fixing all my bugs today, which I will regret
  9. Yes, there are some significant changes in this patch. We're just making sure this new stuff is stable right now - I wouldn't expect it to take longer than a day. Adam definitely wants to update very soon.
  10. Pardon my bad use of technical terms It's in my backlog.
  11. In 278, you can expand your zoom range with the SetZoomRange console command. The default is SetZoomRange 1 1.5. A zoom level of "1" would have the background at a one-to-one size. A zoom level lower than "1" would be upscaling the backgrounds but might make you happier about the size of things.
  12. Crafting items are pulled from a special "ingredient" inventory where all crafting items you pick up are supposed to go. There is a bug in the released version where these items sometimes do not get redirected to this special inventory, rendering them unusable for crafting. We have this fixed for the next build. In the meantime, you should be able to get the items to go where they're supposed to by moving them into your player character's inventory. They should disappear, and you should then be able to use them for crafting.
  13. You can click to pick up the stack, then right-click on the destination rather than left-clicking. Not super intuitive, perhaps.
  14. The combat log actually does restore its default size if you left-click the little box.
  15. You should be able to dismiss party members by pressing "P" while in the inn.
  16. Could you provide a screenshot? It's hard to picture what "not quite right" is.
