  1. This issue is known to the dev team and is being looked into. Thank you for mentioning the related issues as well. Keep up the good work.
  2. Having an unarmed weapon set easily accessible to all characters gives a quick way to sheathe your weapons when in towns and such for players wishing to delve into role-playing more. This does give a benefit to monk characters as they can always have their fists available, but as was stated previously, just because you sheathe your weapons doesn't mean you can't punch things.
  3. There are 4 spirits in the area, and if you talk to them to find out some proper information, you should be able to make your way through the door.
  4. Awesome. That's good to hear that the latest patch improved the times for some people. However, with those times still being a bit lengthy, we'll continue to look for optimizations. sparklecat, because you already gave the times it takes to load and transition after the improvements, could you also supply us with your most recent save file, the number of how many save files you have, and your computer's system specs? It would really help us find where further improvements can be made. Keep up the great work, everyone! edit: DiabloStorm, if you could PM me the key for that save then we can use that as well. It would also help us if you could let us know how many saves you have total and what your system specs are. Thank you again for your help.
  5. Are these long load times still occurring after the most recent patch update?
  6. Woohoo! Sorry that the workaround for this strange issue is so invasive, but we're very glad that you were able to proceed through the game.
  7. Hey Hogfather, we aren't seeing this issue on our end, so would you be able to upload a link to Dropbox with your save file and system specs? You can follow the steps here to see how to post those files. Thank you very much for your help!
  8. You shouldn't have to rename anything, even the .savegame extension. If you right-click the savefile, then you can select Open With, then choose WinRAR as the program. If it's not listed under other programs you can browse for the WinRAR.exe in your program files, (or rename the .savegame extension to .zip and change it back later). Once you open the save file, you should see all of the listed files inside. Simply highlight the First_Fires_Ruins files and press the delete key to delete them.
  9. Thank you for your assistance, this is a big help towards solving this issue.
  10. If you're having problems posting the .txt file you can try posting a link to it in a dropbox instead.
  11. When somebody runs into the issue, can you please post your output_log and system specs? To get that info follow the steps here. It could really help us track down the issue, as there are thousands of configurations of computers and we can only test so many variations. Thank you everyone for your assistance.
  12. I have never experienced this issue. My computer does not have the TempSaveData folder in the first directory path you listed, and the second directory path on my computer leads to a TempSaveData folder (along with loadedSave.zip). Could you try moving the TempSaveData folder from the first directory path to the second? Please let me know if that solves the issue, as it could prove to be a better workaround for everybody experiencing this.
  13. Other idea: Mage is charmed or has other comparable effect from enemy that stops the Grimoire slam from executing correctly. Solid idea. I'll look into that. Thank you very much for your help.
  14. Yea, I think somebody posted something like that with the Into the Fray ability, so I'm investigating that along with the confuse, charm, and dominate afflictions. Thank you for the heads-up!
  15. I'm getting abilities getting stuck in the final battle quite a bit, where they'll show as casting something but it never casts and I can't cancel, use something else, or move the character. Seems to be happening right after the mid-battle cutscenes; perhaps if the fight finished with someone in this state, the ability would show as already activated? It's mostly showing up with the item that lets you fire off 8 fireballs, possibly because you can spam them pretty fast so it's easier to get the timing just right. Yea, that is the place we found to most easily reproduce the issue as well, and how we realized that cutscenes can cause the issue. Thanks for the feedback. We're now investigating being charmed or dominated, as some users have ideas that those afflictions might cause the issue as well. Keep up the great work!
  16. If you follow the workaround steps here, you should be able to reset the area and attempt to complete the quest again. I hope that can help!
  17. Hey everybody, thank you for your feedback. The team is aware of this issue. We have a hunch that using an ability as a cutscene starts or as the game saves may cause it to remain in the activated state, but we are unsure if there are other ways this issue may arise. If anybody has any other ideas or 100% reproducible steps, it could help us pin-point the issue and find a solution. Thank you!
