  1. I've got a feeling the whole ship business is going to be a huge bug hole that nobody wanted or liked in the beta in the first place.
  2. the only super game breaking bug i remember in POE1 was the frozen steps (don't remember the name) chant. The problem was not exactly related to the save but rather that the objects generated by the chant were not recycled properly therefore the save file was stuffed with irrelevant entities. The bug was fixed rather quickly however, for a time there even existed a homebrew hotfix.
  3. A melee wizard or multi is definitely an option with the latest patch. Most self buffs are instantaneous. You can fire of quite a few buffs in a matter of seconds. So yeah.
  4. Turned out an interesting discussion, however you haven't convinced me. 1. Portraits are always a matter of taste. A perfect example is TToN that had styled 3d model heads in early builds that were beautiful with a slight Speterra Core wibe, later the heads were replaced with abysmal portraits. 2. Portraits are a finished work and don't reflect the character's progress. As an expression means they are inferior to a screenshot tool/3d head 3. Portraits are an artifact of the bygone era limitations that have been lifted to everyone's joy. It is the direction no one will argue.
  5. I mean the painted portraits were justified when the character models were simplistic, but now when the models are pretty customizable the portraits feel like a waste of work hours. I really liked what they did in Wasteland 2 with the opportunity to take a screenshot of your 3d model. DaO 2 also had no portraits and managed fine. Discuss.
  6. it matches the description and worked on misses only in POE 1 as well. A assesS it works as intended.
  7. wizard at low tier? sorry, no. A wiz had the most damage dealt count on my every run + cc is the best.
  8. top tier: Holy slayer hands down. Sneak attack, paladin auras, paladin defenses, flames of devotion + crippling strike synergy. Shepherd - flames of devotion + wounding shot, mark + sworn enemy, paladin auras, easy flanking with animal companion (if only it could be configured via AI). Psyblade(devoted - soulblade) - super penetration and damage + whisper of treason make a great middle row dps choice. Single class priest is still a great choice with buffs and suppress affliction, works well even if left to AI to handle. Wizard (evoker or nosub) - surprisingly high damage, superior cc and great AI handling. Barbarian - a great dps choice, but can be shadowed by other dps classes if you have a priest that will provide inspirations similar to barb's. middle: monk - while being a great dps, a monk is too manual control dependent for my taste. chanter - has to be a frontliner to benefit from most offensive invocations, but as a summoner can be placed in top tier in the release depending on the summons' options. druid - being a hybrid by concept he just gets outclassed by wiz or priest in their respective roles. Fury is still great, being a point or two behind being worthy of the top tier. low tier: single class rogue - squishy, not being able to realize his damage potential. cypher - rendered completely useless since countless nerfs in POE1. Still need to see the full ability tree. ranged ranger - a very unreliable source of dps with most ranged weapons being piercing type, inferior cc.

  10. the fight got a bit harder and it's alright imo. At least I had to reload once. No need to nerf anything.
  11. so we do agree that the slower progression is irrelevant with 2 points per PL? let's then make singles and multi progress at the same rate while multi will be stuck with the thinner spread dilemma. For me it'd be fair to either same progression thinner spread or slower progression wider spread, not slower progression thinner spread as it's now.
  12. with 2 points at the power level, the multiclasses feel underwhelming since the single classes get more staff quicker. I think multiclasses should get 3 point at power level not 2 to off set the slow progression. 3 is not 4, but it's also not 2.

When hovering over the damage stat in the context window of a weapon the tooltip disregards the two-handed weapon style multiplier, however when hovering over the damage in the inventory screen (on the left to the char's paper doll), the tooltip shows the said multiplier. Please, decide what information is the accurate one and unify the tooltip info.
  15. The current effects gui is still a mess. The weapon style passives make an impression as they are always active since they appear in the current effects list regardless of the weapon equipped. Please, add a suppressed indicator or something for a clearer feedback.
  16. Custom formations are still not saved on a save game reload
  17. Your own pet breaks the group out of stealth.
  18. any instance of pollaxe is without stats, it had stats in the previous patch. The HUD is still shaking when clicking on fighter/paladin auras (IMO it's got something to do with the focus events)
  19. fix the auto attack setting please. All the A.I.s are broken for me with no option to enable auto attacking.
