  1. After fiddling with the editor all the behaviors are bugged for me now, with no option to enable the auto-attack. More than that. The setting appears to be application wide scope, I see no way to revert it.
  2. very very unlikely. I think the publicity is a byproduct of a poor marketing job that turned out in favor of Obsidian by chance. Kudos to the QA though. They managed to convince the board to postpone the release and thus there is hope for another beta update for us to fiddle.
  3. @OP you're not alone, pal. you're not alone.
  4. I'd go for a high pen weapon with devoted/soulblade. However, Josh posted they'll nerf the dual damage type weapons in the release version, so greatsword damage output might not seem as attactive as it's now.
  5. More than that. I'm pretty sure it's categorized and arranged perfectly in their state machine.
  6. noted. the logic is peculiar however. It's fine for them to make me search their list, but it's not to point at the lack of most common filtering/searching tools.
  7. UI. Obsidian. Again. Deep breath... Ok. Could you please add: category filter, a-z sorter and search filter to the behavior editor lists, please. It really worries me as a fellow programmer how it passed the initial commit at all being a flat uncategorizable, unsortable and unsearchable list that's bigger than the screen.
  8. this weekend seems the last viable date before the release. If not tomorrow, then no point updating the beta anymore. I'd rather they concentrate on the finishing touches of the final product.
  9. I don't see a party without a rogue/paladin and a ranger/paladin as the frontliners with awesome damage potential.
  10. give us an update for the first march weekend, no?
  11. even average resolve is only 10 skills traded (cast by you or cast on you). high resolve makes it 5 super high resolve makes it 3 it totally ok in my book not to reach a free empower with a low resolve char along with other penalties.
  12. ok, another alternative let's introduce a new resolve meter from 0 to 100. The number of resolve that you have will fill the meter upon any skill that you use When the meter is 100 you can use a free empower. at 20 res it will mean you have to fire off 5 skills. the meter could also be filled by skills used on you.
  13. why full empower? empower by power level ofc a bit stretched. What prevents the designers to give the boss a few legit empowers so the boss could spam them? Can you confirm enemies use empower at all?
  14. maybe it's just empower chance 1 % per point 1 - 1% 10 - 10% 20 - 20% 30 - 30% 1% per point seems fine, when at 20 res every 5th ability which is 1 or 2 abilities of your whole per encounter pool will get a free empower which is not too godly imo.
  15. priest is not mandatory, any char with high arcana can replace a priest in a 'i need to resist a certain affliction' situation. Some of the priests buffs are nice though.
  16. any tank caster combo while seeming a plausible option on paper because of a high resolve tempt fails miserably in actual performance in beta, except for maybe a tank/chanter with the concentration chant, but who in clear mind will want to chant concentration when you have fyr or reload time.
  17. +2 acc will be too op. but a +1% penetration ignore damage would be nice. for example you got 5 pen vs 7 armor this means -30% damage, but a 20 per char will ignore 10% which will result in -20% instead of -30%. This will open up a brand new roadmap for low pen weapon high per char builds.
  18. I think the problem of long recovery times for 2handlers is attack animation affected by dex. IMHO it should be fixed, only recovery time should be effected.
  19. an unbroken / rogue plays ok with a shield. Rogues however are not too suited for a tanking combo since they gain no benefit from high resolve, if I'm correct none of rogue's skills are spell damage.
