Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Am I supposed to play this before the main game? I like getting the new race/class/companion. As for the side campaign, it will depend on how interesting it is.

Has Obsidian Talked about the state of the Might Stat for Damage Dealers?
InsaneCommander replied to Torm51's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Black humor indeed.

Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
You could market it with the phrase: "Uplift a species of your choice to be your romance partner! With tentacles!" Now this is getting dangerously close to the Blorgette meme I posted in the Paradox forums...

Finally some sales evidence
InsaneCommander replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)That is a good question. The "more to come" is not necessarily anything big. Maybe another free dlc and an extra megaboss. I imagine MS will probably want them to start working on something else soon, even if that is their unannounced project. Once the third DLC is released, they can continue to patch the game, but all the promised content will be done. Not that I wouldn't love to see another DLC.

Future projects for PoE
InsaneCommander replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)4 people? You, me, xzar_monty and bugarup. Maybe Amplitude makes an isometric crpg with the Endless Legend story. One can dream.

Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
Maybe the Xenomorph or the Predator would be romance options too.

Poe3 need a bigger frame for portrait
InsaneCommander replied to Archaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)For PF:K I like the bigger size, I decided that every time I play I'll have the portrait of a character on a throne. Here is another one:

Has Obsidian Talked about the state of the Might Stat for Damage Dealers?
InsaneCommander replied to Torm51's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Make the character you want, have fun. As xzar_monty said, you'll win anyway. My next character will be a sorcerer with max MIG. I don't care if it is good, I want to see all reactivity. My first character had high DEX and PER. This one will have MIG and INT and in my third pt I'll choose CON and RES.

Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
But what if they are really alien? Not humanoid, with tentacles, oily skin... etc. Star trek characters have got pregnant without even noticing it. And I'm talking about a male character.

Best roleplay builds
InsaneCommander replied to Zaris's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Well said. My criticism is for the character, not the game or the devs. I think they did a very good job creating him ( and the other gods). It was very interesting playing as one of his priests in PoE1. Specially because my character eventually gave up on the faith.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Maybe reduce all those 12s to 10s and use the points in Charisma? Not sure if this makes sense in Pathfinder though...

Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
Ok, but at least let the npcs make an attempt:

Deadfire won't win RPG of the year (VGA's)
InsaneCommander replied to SonicMage117's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I really don't like that armor system. One of my favorite things in DOS1 was starting a battle with a poison cloud arrow, followed by a fireball. Can't do that in DOS2.

InsaneCommander replied to xzar_monty's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Maybe, in Eora, it's an Eothasian thing. They go visit every house and farm asking people that. Gaun followers will offer to reap something. And those who value the rebirth aspect will ask with a different connotation...

Final DLC release date?
InsaneCommander replied to MotelOK's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Deadfire is open world and some people won't explore every island. I think it is much more likely that they didn't want the game to be difficult for those players. That said, even PotD without exploring everything was easy when the game was launched.
