Two simple things you wish to see the most in The Forgotten Sanctum
InsaneCommander replied to Mraicor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Because they are bigger. You have that feeling of exploring the unknown, uncertain of what lies ahead. That doesn't happen in a short dungeon, at least not when you have played for a time, start expecting that all dungeons are short and get confirmation of it over and over again. That said, I liked to explore the Old City and Ashen Maw.

6 character party for new game plus
InsaneCommander replied to Potemkin's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think they said that there are other problems too. The game is made for a 5 character party and even the reactivity is made to take only 4 companions into account.

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
InsaneCommander replied to a post in a topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Announcements & NewsInfinite ships is fine for me. It'll make the archipelago feel more alive. But I like ship combat, so I might not have the most common opinion.

Diablo 3 has a better story than PoE 2
InsaneCommander replied to Verde's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I don't think that will go well with Eder's fans.

Diablo 3 has a better story than PoE 2
InsaneCommander replied to Verde's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Imho they did. It would have been better if we had to search the Deadfire to find Eothas. Maybe Hasongo and other places would only be made available after you completed some faction quests. Obviously this would go against the open world idea...

Deadfire won't win RPG of the year (VGA's)
InsaneCommander replied to SonicMage117's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)How exactly was the deal? Can they keep making more games or is there a time limit? Either way, he signed the deal. Maybe next time (or with the Netflix show) he will do different. It's like Marvel, that "lost" Spiderman and other characters because they made the deal when they couldn't negotiate well. If they lose Luke Cage and Iron Fist in the same way, then it is because they didn't learn their lesson.

Weird. Random. Interesting.
Meanwhile in one of their villages someone is claiming to have seen an Unidentified Floating Object and visitors from other islands. But nobody will believe them.

What mods to use? :)
InsaneCommander replied to Littlebob86's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm sure they'll add more. And if they are talking about letting us use mods and BBs with the Gods Challenges, then they will probably disable achievements when we do that. As for solo, I'm only considering it now for PoE because I've already played it many times. Something different (and taking less time) would be welcome.

[3.1.1] multiple velas on ship with "hylea's challenge"
InsaneCommander replied to thelee's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)That is adorable. But at least you are having to protect the two of them in battle.

Let's try again. Priest of Woedica and Steel Garrote as playable classes. DO IT!
InsaneCommander replied to AndreaColombo's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This is what I was talking about. If your enemy has one of these, he may break his hand by himself.

What mods to use? :)
InsaneCommander replied to Littlebob86's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Fine for me. It does seem they exaggerated in the ingredient quantities. 1 or 2 would be ok for me. But I'd rather have plenty in one location than go through multiple load time screens as I travel through half the archipelago to get 3 onyx from different vendors. One way or another, this is irrelevant to me because the achievements already in the game are so easy to get that you can do it in one pt. In contrast, I played PoE1 for 875 hours and I only got 75% of the achievements there... And once they implement real achievements (like TCS, The Ultimate and The Ultimate With All God Challenges), I will simply ignore them for several pts since I don't like to play solo. So no differenc for me. At all.

What mods to use? :)
InsaneCommander replied to Littlebob86's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A few more suggestions: - FG Ability Tweaks (adds more abilities, including a version of deep pockets for more classes) - The Pantry (ingredients available in Port Maje) - Echanted Cloak of Berath And if you don't like the official Beckoner class: - Beckoner Modifier Files - or Normalized Beckoner Subclass

Let's try again. Priest of Woedica and Steel Garrote as playable classes. DO IT!
InsaneCommander replied to AndreaColombo's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)When I went to Scotland I saw a guy selling medieval weapons and it was very interesting. Swords are fine, but when I held a flail I noticed that it was much heavier than I expected and the handle seemed too long for a moment. Until I pointed it upwards and what should have been obvious became clear: if it was shorter, the balls would reach my hands. I guess I wouldn't have had a long carrier as a weapon maker in the middle ages.

InsaneCommander replied to Mraicor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Why not both? If it is an Orlan sized dress, then it is also an elf's t-shirt.

****erel Forest encounter is unsatisfactory
InsaneCommander replied to rone's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)There's a disposition check - if Shady >= 2, they don't trust you. Otherwise, you can trade the above-mentioned weapon. My shady disposition was definitely 2. That explains it...
