  1. Next I predict a Handmaiden and Visas poll... then a Bao Dur... I'll get a head start and set up a Kreia one... anybody wanna do HK-47's?
  2. You make a good point. Remember, Tatooine was just BARELY colonized by Czerka, so the Unknown Regions probably contain MUCH MUCH MUCH of the Galaxy, including several parts of the Outer Rim. This is 4000 years before the Chiss, etc., so many places are uncharted.
  3. Yep... The reason why you think that the Exile doesn't remember, is because of the allusions made in dialog. If you're character can say it, and it doesn't have a [Lie] in front of it, then it's probably their past (as far as their past goes).
  4. The Geek is here! Nihilus was a 'beast' that was revived on Malachor V... I'm going to talk, but KNOW that these are JUST ASSUMPTIONS!!!!!! Nihilus is the Star Wars version of a Sith Undead... He is everything Sith... Power, Hunger, Darkness, etc. He's like those lame Power Hogs on the T.V. commercials; he's also like a 2 year old and a power outlet, with a physcopathic addiction. He sticks his fingers into the outlet, around the plug (People), and sucks the energy before it reaches its destination. He sucks both Life and the Force, to fill in the gaps where both once flowed. The Exile only fills in the Force, so is not a slave to his 'gap.' The Exile cut himself off to protect himself, because of all the deaths that he felt, on such a personal level (bonds). If he had not done this, he could have ended up as something worse than Nihilus and Sion combined (Pain and Hunger, reversed). Or, he would have died... The Exile walks outside of the Force, but Nihilus is out of both. Here's my infamous Helicopter analogy: It's like seeing a charging herd of animals headed right for your primitive settlement, but you're in a helicopter. You're on a totally different level, but you have the ability to get involved if you need to/ are forced to. This is like hovering low to the ground... You're in it, now, but you can 'bail out' whenever you need to. Nihilus is like a high-speed bomber. The little things mean nothing, but can caus some harm to you if givin the opportunity. If you stop moving, or get too involved, or run out of 'fuel' then you're screwed. Nihilus must constantly 'refuel' or else perish from lack of life and Force... Well, that's all I can remember now... the Exile shows that, with the right echoes, the Force can 'die,' along with all that feel it. Sinse everything has a bit of Force in them, this would kill just about everything. Kreia is insane by the end of the game, trying to destroy all to save it... Killing her is the only way to give her peace. Well, correct some of my lack of detail if need be... Here's my thoughts.
  5. Only if Revan was DS (Female/Male, I presume)... Try doing a search before you post something that is blantantly obvious to have been asked already. No offense meant, just offering a suggestion. Don't take it the wrong way.
  6. My thoughts are that he is looking for a weakness... Something HUGE is about to happen, but NOBODY except possibly Obsidian has a clue to what it is...
  7. Nobody sees Exar Kun for another 4000 years, sorry... He is in suspended animation on Yavin IV...
  8. LS Revan destroyed the Forge. DS Revan left, but nobody had the power to use it... Perhaps it's now a taboo to the Sith, or lying dead somewhere... I expect that it was destroyed by Sion at one point, just because it was 'dead weight' that somebody could use to hurt the Sith at one point... Just my idea...
  9. It was a lightsaber wound, that much is obvious. By whom it was inflicted, we know that it happened sometime during or right after the Mandalorian Wars...
  10. I think that, since nobody ever hears of a Darth Revan or "Darth Exile" anywhere after, they could be any/all/both/switching between the two . In the third game, you could still have a choice. If they play it right, it won't change much except the pronouns and Bastila/Carth statements. I've never programmed a large scale game, but I think that this would be doable with something on the borders of a simple if() statement, or a switch statement... They both fit, move on! Edit: I was thinking of starting a Bastila and Handmaiden/Visas "Lovers Club"... if I can generate enough interest here. Any takers?
  11. Female Revan: You do the guessing Male Revan: Revan got mad at him for eyeing Bastila...
  12. I say that as long is it doesn't inflict with something in the Database, then it could be considered to have taken place within Star Wars. Just my thoughts on the matter.
  13. Nowhere does it say that the race is dead... NOWHERE. I've reread most of the TOTJ comics in the recent weeks, when I could find them, and the only hint at this is when Sadow's Army is destroyed by Ludo Kressh's and the Republic. Who's to say that some Dark Jedi in Sadow's Kressh's Army didn't survive... say he was sent to secure Zolost (or whatever its name is), and he took a few other Sith with him. The Republic never thouroghly (sp?) explored the Sith Empire for remnants, so the fact that a couple of Sith, in all their glory, were left on an isolated world, waiting for a word from Sadow/Kressh. **Spoilers below** Perhaps Kreia and her plot(s) caused enough echoes to send a beacon. I think Revan heard it, and that means that the 'True Sith' did too. This is insinuated when Carth talks about how he thinks that Revan did not succeed in his task. Something big is about to happen, but what that is, and to what extent, nobody knows yet. All of the Sith as of yet in Kotor have all been followers of the belief... An army of Nihilus like beings would be an ultimate end, I believe... Any more questions?
  14. In case you don't know, that's from KotOR 1. But, he did say organic that time. I even double checked it in the written dialog window, just to make sure. Next time you go down to the Hrakert Station, take HK-47 with you, suggest to the mercenary that he go with you up to the surface and you will get that exact dialog, right down to the st-st-studdering when the mercenary responds. Trust me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will do, thanks! I just pointed that out because he complains about the HK-50's knack of saying organic when referring to meatbags, so I figured that he never says it... Sorry for any inconvenience!
  15. There is an ability like that in Kotor II, only it affects your enemies. It's pretty funny to go stealthed, and mind control the strongest and watch as they're killed by their allies... and vice versa...
  16. Remember that Tatooine was just discovered, so the Unknown Regions are much much much more expansive then the maps show, plus may include Outer Rim. I'll elaborate more in an edit later.
  17. I like the idea of a Male Revan, because that's how I'll always see him. Frankly, I'm not sure I care what the Exile is, but he's also male in my mind... Just because of the Handmaiden thing, and its affect to the game as a whole when she becomes a Jedi. The pics were... decent. I'll say no more...
  18. Read the sig...
  19. What if there was a Kotor I ish stand off point with an influence implementation. Anybody that had a certain influence with you would side with you, and kill anybody with less influence. Plus, a massive standoff at the very end would be awesome. Like a big battle, but more massive than anything in Kotor II, like the Throne Room, only strategy became more important: Take this room, sacrificing innocents, or defend the prisoners, and loose your position. Like the test on Kashyyk, with the advices of Exile and Revan (LS, both) to help you. Personally I would like a question and answer implementation, and go down the list, checking Yes, they died; or No, they're alive... Being able to chose a face for Exile and Revan would be nice, but I doubt it'll happen...
  20. No, Blessed Sith, you have pretty much summed up my point.
  21. My point exactly. "I killed Carth, and there he is with Bastila!" etc.
  22. Really... I'm getting a wee bit tired of someone complaining bout something, when all they have to do is pay attention to what they're doing in the first place... Oh, well.
  23. Paranoid or something? Bit like being followed by a police car? It's quite likely that he was reading this and then went of to do something non computer related. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you assuming that he, being a moderator, has a life, and does something NOT related to us? How dare you!
