Zaalbar vs. Mission anybody? Ahhh... to have that power at any moment... It would totally screw the game, so how about at a critical point, base on influence. All those that don't have that much with you get the great honor of being killed by their friends and companions.

Continuity kills KOTOR
The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Or, an alternate, more resolving ending for the DS Revan/Exile: As they bask in their power, Mission Vao (or some equally ironic character) sneaks right past them, into the main reactor of their Flagship, the Impenetrable (or some equally ironic name), sets an explosive core, and blows the whole fleet to oblivion, allowing people to look forward to Episode 1: The Phantom Menace *Special Edition* in peace. -

And he was so 'to the point!' Sorry, I couldn't help but join in the fun... -
YAY, LOSER (hey, I had to abbreviate somewhere... )!

Off topic a bit, maybe, but it involves multiplayer gaming, so... Does anyone on these forums play SS? If so, could you let me know? If you have NO clue as to what it is, I'm not sure I'll be able to adequately explain it... It's a good game, even with it's age... P.S. If you do play it, I'm /FT\ G C Marik.

Ummm, Jambo, just pointing this out: HK-47 NEVER says organic, as far as I've heard. He uses his tradition Meatbag the whole time.

In game, it's an inherent ability that comes from an unknown source. With this, it would have been a Sith holocron, apparently. -
Just a thought bastila
The Great Phantom replied to cewekeds's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
She is struggling. In another one of my many fanfics (scary thing is, I knew the storyline of Kotor II -names before it came out...), Bastila is doing everything that she can to repent for her actions, including going on probation with the Council. Then the Order collapse because of an unknown threat (wow, am I good, or what?), and Revan vanishes, leaving Bastila on her own... Sound familiar anybody? (No, I had NO clue what would go on in Kotor II, but I knew all of the in-between stuff) -
I have found no extreme bugs... Just a temporary freeze for no reason. I can see how it got awards... but Kotor I still is the best game I've played in a loooooong time.

DS Revan/Exile: The Exile bows to Revan, and they set out to annialate (sp?) the Jedi once and for all. LS Male Revan/Exile: Big huge party reminesent of Kotor I's ending, with ALL of the NPC's gathered together, and the screen blanking out with Revan kissing Bastila, a symbol of temperary peace in the Republic. Now THAT would be an awesome ending... -

Wow... That's deep... If only they hadn't been time-restrained... WHY LUCAS ARTS, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??? -

The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mummies? Now that's just SICK! Revan... WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I just want to see some closure for LS and DS Males (both Exile and Revan, at the same time, I suppose). And, if LS Male Revan dies, then it had better be defending Bastila!!! (sorry, it's an impulse, I guess.) -
How much does it cost to set up a 'game?' Like, all the books dice, etc. I saw the DS Source Book... 50 friggin dollars? Are they all like that???

Continuity kills KOTOR
The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think that they should have put this message before Atton's q's: <<Attention Players! Many of you will skip over this part thinking that it holds no relevance to the game. The following options will determine what Revan is/did. Don't ignore them and complain about the game later!>> That would have sorted a lot out, I think. -

Male LS for both of them is supported by LA and George Lucas as canonical. -
Continuity kills KOTOR
The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Just speculating. I don't know anything about the Expanded Universe, so I don't know how much of that time is already 'explained'. Maybe LucasArts is thinking really long term. But if I were them, I'd want to keep lots of virgin territory there, for future development. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kotor takes place roughly 4000 years before ANH. Now, keep in mind: Darth Bane's lineage has to be set up 2000 BBY. This leaves 2000 years between the two, more or less. I say, get this trilogy done, then move on to another game hundreds of years after, like: Nihilus' Revenge Just kidding bout the Revenge... Or am I? -

Only Obsidian knows where this story is going to go... (Not an insult, but my way of persuading others to let them do the third. YOU BETTER DO IT!) -
A little question about a certain Jedi
The Great Phantom replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The reasons don't matter. If you're stripped of the Force by a Jedi Master, you're never going to feel it again. End of the line. As that one Jedi Master in TOTJ said, it brings a wall of light around them, and it's as permanent as Death. There's no going back. Ever. -

I think that a century is a little drastic. They could do it with a decade or two, and still be able to get some wrapping up done, don't you think? -
Revan in KOTOR III.
The Great Phantom replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wow... That's just creepy... I wouldn't mind a game where you were a Dark Jedi in the Jedi Civil War... like an Action Adventure so the story doesn't get screwed up. -
A little question about a certain Jedi
The Great Phantom replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Then he would already have his connection, meaning Yoda had not stripped it. Have you read Ulic's 'stripping' in TOTJ? He never feels the Force again, so neither would Luke/Leia if Yoda took it away from them. -
Ideas for kotor 3? returning people? planets?
The Great Phantom replied to Draken's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Here is something that would allow the series to continue, but keep the continuity going. You're PC is a newly Knighted Jedi. LS Revan/Exile: Handmaiden is a Jedi Historian/Consular. Visas is a Jedi Master Atton searches the Galaxy for Force sensitives to rebuild the order. Bao Dur continues doing his 'unknown fate' Mira 'dies saving the life of one she cares about' So, you're the new Knight in a struggling Order, and you're sent to explore. On your way, you're contacted by a Sith. They give you the chance to join them, with a plethora of various temptations. You can either accept (DS) or decline (LS) and alert the Council. They then send you to find what happened to Exile, Revan (either one you sided with), and the game continues from there. DS Revan/Exile: Same as above, only on an opposite spectrum, with the Order being virtually nonexistant.
