  1. This is just a very early hunch and a bad sign if it's true - hope it's not. Are you using the new larger movies? (I'm still downloading) Maybe with the way they've done the game it preloads all the movie, so if they're bigger, they take longer......nah...
  2. heh, suprised me too. I can't believe it's actually happening. Even if it is 'disappointing' I've certainly been given a small dose of trust, even though there isn't anything to wait for any more except Team Gizka.
  3. Nice to see you back with the update Aimo. Excellent as always . Is the color bleeding over the edges in the first one a temporary thing that gets painted over later, or is it just part of the style/picture? Never seen you mention Painter XI before...
  4. More like un-cut stuff...
  5. Your problem sounds new to me...not sure. You should always post your computers specs too.
  6. You should've added three more options: - "Both of them" - "I'm living in fairyland and the game was perfect (none of them)" - "Other" I would've voted "Both of them", so I went with LA. Like said before, LA had it rushed with a small time frame and now very very poor - non-existant - support for the game. Obsidian didn't plan it too well and bit off more than it could chew. Plus I hated the whole story running through it - don't know if it's Obsidian or LA but it's one, or both of 'em!
  7. Is this some non-standard recording of Coorta? I'm confused where you are (or what stage) of Peragus.
  8. Last time this was around I voted for Atris. Voted by B4-D4 this time, you sexy droid, lol, j/k
  9. Well I just did the search as well and the best people can get is to use presaved games as you probably searched up and saw too. Besides from exchanging version numbers with newer ones (Catalyst 5.9 or Omega Modded drivers) there's not much I don't that can be done.
  10. Good to hear! I did have my doubts when I saw the Dantooine fix in the changelogs of 5.9, after seeing it in 5.8. I've got a GeCube X800XL PCIe card). I was gonna play K2 again but I'm hit right now with some mystery fever which has made me a very useless person
  11. Also depends on what the laptop specs are. All in all even with a good laptop I don't too much reason to get essentially the same thing again. The exception might be with KotOR 2 when the Restoration Project is finished (and how successful it is).
  12. It was also kinda disappointing when it was never used in the game.
  13. No you won't - as soon as you become pressured by co-workers and LA and stuff you will more than willing to compromise.
  14. KotOR 1 also had something like this where the Rodian's in Davik's estate made the droid dying noise. It was because in the XBox version there were droids and in PC they're not (or is it the other way around).
  15. Not to mention Bastila stays absolutely spotless
  16. Wow...massive post - sorry to everyone I can't be bothered reading your replies. From what I've read and understood you have a lot of "back to the drawing board" sorta stuff which is fair enough but one of the biggest killers for this game was time - there was no time to refine and fix this stuff up. I say it's one of the biggest and not the biggest cos I also find to an equally bad level their choice of story - True Sith, Force Echo/Wound/Void/CookieMonster, non-Jedi Atris, etc. not for me, although I have to admit I'll probably get K3 anyway cos it's Star Wars and I still want an ending even if it does suck like Matrix or Half-Life 2.
  17. True Sith = a load of crap. okok, basically for me it was a story element which I just found stupid but I guess I'll have to live with it in K3. The K1 loading screen did say they were a species that died long ago so I'm hoping it stays that way.
  18. Well Griskey's music being butchered was unfortunate but in the end I would go for Soule by a long shot. Don't get me wrong, like you said his music was good and appropriate for the game but I think the diversity and use of Star Wars themes worked a lot more - Griskey might have used them too but the fact I can't recall it being in there kinda proves the point. Here are some of best combo's of area/music that come to mind most often: Taris Upper City - the whole peaceful Star Wars atmosphere and being a JA fan I found it nice to have the whole walking around in a city/street very calming. Bastila - tiny insert of the Force theme and she is at the heart of the jedi issue. Sith music (Endire Spire). Dantooine Outback - similar reason to Taris. I guess all that paced JA music makes me a sucker for slower Star Wars music.
  19. HK Lookin' good ! If that really is a quick sketch... (w00t) , and even if it's not it still fantastic. The eye's are a nice touch.
  20. Here are few thoughts I have: 1. Before the reinstall did you delete the game folder completely? (It should've re-copied the file anyway but you never know...) 2. Can you play the game without the patch? Is the texture file actually corrupted? (ofcourse it could just be one little part that's corrupted) 3. You may have got one of the dud CD's and you'll need to get a replacement.
  21. I wouldn't mind a copy of that as well! LucasArts: "Duffman says a lot of things! Oh Yeah!" oh wait, they did before, but now they're saying nothing at all...
  22. Have you tried running it unpatched as well?
  23. Great work , Barbie Dolls indeed (I actually thought of Malibu Stacey first...Oh Yeah!). This is just an obversation, not a criticism, but you've really let the Star Wars aspect of it go. Looks like a cross between Star Wars characters in the Rome Total War Greek/Roman atmosphere.
  24. I'm a Male Revan person (well Revan/Bastila ofcourse) but man, MissCora... (w00t) and BattleWookie, I realise that 18+ is necessary, but
  25. Well like I said my thing is stuck with normal XP stuff and that as far as I know, doesn't have light up ON click (is that what you're referring to) so the best I could do was make it lightup/flash when loading in background.
