Genoharadan Bounty Hunter Guild? I don't think it was them because I think you can get that fan to ask you even if you already have the quest (doing Tatooine late in the game). I did suspect him of a bad intention related to DNA or ID or something along those lines (but not because you were Revan though)

Someone put forward (and I agreed) the view that Revan originally wanted to prepare the galaxy for the True Sith (knowing that the council wouldn't listen to him) and went to DS to do it, but then got consumed by it and in the end the whole original reason just wasn't there. A bit like how Yuthera realises what she became. I still have a strong preference to the story that he was corrupted by power and with the Star Forge he discovered as well.

Gotta remember these are improvements on K1 as suggested/commented by players. If these weren't done it'd be kinda disturbing... And very alienating at times... I wouldn't say so... But nothing to show in the end for going DS K1 lol

I did a poll a while ago where people talked about whether he was doing for the True Sith or being typical DS conquerer sort of person. Do a search for the title and I think it was something like "Was (Darth) Revan Evil"

*Looks at post count and jumps on the bandwagon* I too welcome you to the forums.....wanna play Pazaak Anyway just to put my post in a bit of context I did find most of K2 enjoyable but K1 would be superior overall. As your post exploring probably would've revealed, it's the ending that hurt it the most and also with me the general direction of the game, although luckily that can be ignored and I just play the game without taking too much notice of those bits.

I haven't read your whole essay but I don't agree with you on this part. There's even more stuff they did wrong (and stuff that's not being done at all ).

Great job, although I don't think her character would ever end up having a romantic ending like that. Revan's face reminds me of the Bean movie when he "fixes" Whistler's Mother. David: oh god, god of god! (btw, Revan's right hand is coming out of her shoulder)

First time I played the game I only had a GF4 440 so I didn't have support for it - maybe that's why I didn't suspect anything like Force Sex (although it would still take something more than just glowing people) I have a card now which supports Force Sight but I haven't replayed it yet.

I don't like hackers but I wish one of them hacked into Obsidian and copied the patch files - at least then they can't be sued for a deliberate leak I just wonder how long it'll take for talk of this patch to disappear - maybe never (and yes, I guess I have condemned it to never come out)

I still don't understand how the original person could think of that term from what I saw in-game. There aren't really any relationships at all (there are but don't mean anything like in K1). Would've with the cut content.

In some ways I don't mind that it was a copy but they should've used the Republic ship corridor design for all of them - at least then there's a reason for them all having the same shape.

Just making use of the Poll function here. KotOR was the first RPG I'd played for many many years so I was expecting a big interleaved game everywhere - which it was. It also meant I tended to connect everything to something else, so when that Swoop Fan wanted my auto-print I really did hesitate before giving it and I just expected it to come back later. Anyway, it didn't! Damn you BioWare you tricked me - good job .

How can it clearly not be visions of the past? It had the Malak recruiting scene, the minefield area (where I'm guessing you originally told them all to charge). Now with the Bastila thing, she obviously wasn't there during the recruit thing but like I said, she did join them eventually.

I think it's more about a backup plan if they ever need to assume Revan's or Exile's identity (so don't get worked up over "official"). The whole point of KotOR is so that you can choose who you want your character to be. Jedi Knight series has always assumed LS wins. Yeh, but could you do? Nooo! lol, Bastila always!!!

She did for a short while, and that's what I think the tomb shows. I considered the whole tomb like a "second chance" test to Exile and I played it with the (trying to be LS) reasoning that you don't regret anything because it made you the person you are now. Mind you I've posted a few times that I wasn't a fan of this whole force wound/bond stuff but I don't see anything wrong with Darth Vader not being affected because he's DS and doesn't care, and Obi Wan, since not being directly there only receives a "Force shock" (and Luke is too n00b to feel it). I'd rather the movies dictating the games, not the other way around. It's had to get a wide spread franchise being consistant all the way through though.

Combos = any variations; class, gender, alignment, Revan Games like KotOR are designed to be replayed and K2 has obviously disappointed more people than usual, or at least there are many well known views. After your first game and finding out about everything (story, bugs and cut issues), what was your attitude when starting that next game. Obviously if you don't have a very good mindset when you decide you won't play it again <_< . After my first game of K1 it was basically in a rush to start a new game. I managed to hold myself off for two weeks since I didn't want the game to get boring too quickly since a lot of the stuff you do is the same. Anyway, that mind set would be equivalent to the first poll option. But this is K2, and I just started my first replay and well, as a sort of indication, I've already used the Skip Peragus mod... I vote #4 (milking it's value), since I acknowledge there will be fun bits but really it'll be more mechanical and no real anticipation or effort to get into the story. (the assumption about the Restoration Project is that you have no urge to play the game until it comes out, in which you'd be very eager and hopeful )

I doubt it. But I wouldn't be suprised if there was supposed to be some link - have you seen my posts on how *everything* leads to Malachor. Strange to use Ebon Hawk class ships in a battle...eh well plenty of reasons and no biggie :cool: they got lazy and did a copy...

I'm definitely for Male Revan, and leaning towards Male Exile, although I agree that the consideration of Atris isn't as big as the pre-game art shouts since her whole story was a fizzer - granted her end part was cut so she wasn't given the chance. (and LS for both) Male Revan because the Bastila romance was done better and was also more relevant since it was based on the Jedi/love thing of Episode 2 which was prevelant then. I'm playing Female Exile now so I haven't played enough yet, but having all that Male Exile art around seems to indicate more emphasis on that, although considering how Atris and Nihilus got the same treatment, can't really say it's a big deal. (and incase you can't tell I'm a male ).

Oh man I want one of those!!! (actually I'd want a GF7800 GTX). Anyway, I'm using 5.8 now with X800XL and I ran Rome Total War and SWAT 4 fine - no temp warnings (actually my card ran exactly the same - speed and temp). FYI, my temps are about 45C for normal, max 62 under load (default clocks).

This'll go outside considering just the party members, but I think the 3 different love stories in K1 (Male, preferably LS) worked really well together and was designed to provide all these different points. 1. The datapads on Kashyyyk and Korriban about that Jedi Trio who got split during the Great Hunt because two of them fell in love (can't remember their names) and it was their doom (well premature doom anyway) 2. Jolee telling of his wife and such and turned Sith, and so on, and tells of how love can work and all that stuff 3. Your romacne quest with Bastila

Downloading now, although I only got my ATI X800XL about 3 weeks ago and I haven't played K2 yet. Maybe they've tried to fix it each version and once again they've tried something different.
