  2. I agree it was a very good idea in making skills much more relevant but since I don't play that style I just left it alone so I wouldn't become so obsessed with all the numbers involved in it.
  3. btw, you don't even need to get HK either (you don't have to buy him). In terms of breaking promises on cameos, no, I don't think they have broken a "promise", but the issue with the way it's happened is with the poor planning, writing, time limit, whatever with regards to assumptions and continuity. Mind you I liked Bastila and I'm a fan of the now-pretty-much-unlikely Revan/Bastila ending, so I don't mind she was kept alive.

  5. I liked a lot of the features by concept/principle but most had flaws, which usually happens with first goes as stuff so it looks promising. Influence was the biggst change I noticed but I didn't appreciate cos it stopped me more than helped me. My favourite improvement would be with the little quickie interface/gameplay things suggested from K1, like quick-weapon switch, a fullsize adaptive screen, etc.
  6. This is a PM I got which I've gotten permission to post here so that other people can discuss and build any ideas up more. (this is basically what I replied, so the quoted parts are the things the PM asked about) I think I remember a while ago that minimizing would screw it up but I'll try it again and see what happens again. If it works fine then it'll be in. OK. The original reason why it wasn't like that before was to stop accidental restarts but I suppose it won't ever happen ... often. anybody object to this? I can't get it work via the label. It "teleports" somewhere else on the screen and is not draggable. It should stop Auto-turning when you surpass a Standing opponent but I'm not gonna make it auto-stand. That's too automated. Besides, people not paying attention of playing incorrectly flipped cards is pretty funny. This could probably get some more discussion I don't have any idea on what it takes to make an IRC channel or what stuff you need. I was thinking of IRC ages ago cos it was a perfect game lobby with private convos to say tell someone their IP to connect. Anyway you obviously know all this - if you know how to start a basic chat-only IRC channel then go right ahead and we'll see how it goes. Anyway, as the website shows the next version will be v1.1.0 and the main initial reason for the new version series (and not v1.0.5) is because the new and extra sounds. I'll say this later as well, but when v1.1.0 comes out (as soon as I clear out this massive pile of Uni work and test some of these suggestions), the sounds will be uncompressed since it keeps it at the original KotOR quality (and like the data file, should be a rare re-download). Heh, KotOR file quality is 22 kHz Mono which sounded better than I expected, but still don't want to butcher it with compression.
  7. 12:00am and panicking with Uni work (yet I still seem to be on the message boards). Anyway, read it more carefully; sorry for the mix up. Great work ED! definitely better but I think the main problem is that the bit under the eye-lashes is too thick which makes it look like a window-sill rather than tear flow. You could try adding eye-lashes...or thinning up that region?

  9. K2 was originally designed so you could play it without K1 (helps keep the number of possibilities down) but as you saw they obviously made some assumptions on Carth, Bastila and HK. In some ways this inconsistancy is just part of the Obsidian image in this game.
  10. Julian pic looks bloody good ; great detail especially on the robes (did you get any inspiron from Aimo?). With regards to the eyes, I didn't see it till it was mentioned. Just to clarify what I see, it's her head which looks like a hollow droid head because the eyes look like small square windows. I'm no artist but try to still make her eyes look shut maybe try curving the stop so it's not so blockish.
  11. Why would anyone care about the other Malachor planets (or moons)? If they don't do anything or mean anything then what's the point.
  12. I just consider Malachor V to be the 5th planet in the Malachor system, or 5th Moon of the planet Malachor, in some system no one bothered to name/care about.
  13. Make your own cards ? I think Pazaak is supposed to be like a in-Cantina game. How would you hold a tournament? (like what would happen in the Pazaak Den).

  17. I think people have mistaken the interlace for low-res - either way it doesn't look as good as it could be (even at that res). The low quality music is definitely audible and really is below par for today's games. I'd just listen to it once to make sure it didn't have any compression artifacts or anything but besides from that nothing much - which is why people are saying it won't come.

  19. My take on it is that the Broken message is the equivalent of some of stupid debug messages in Pazaak when an unexpected thing occurs. Luckily none of the bugs so far have revealed any of them... Anyway, this looks permanent so yeh, previous save. I do remember myself experience bugs a couple of times where she's still an enemy even just after the convo but I never followed it thru - just reloaded ASAP.
  20. What makes you think that? Well she said work starts but that doesn't mean the art stops, and the Final Update thing was just the final update to this thread because it'll be locked for length - I'm sure any new batches will end up in a new Aimo art thread.
  21. Wow, great work as usual. Doesn't matter if it's Exile, Atris, Visas, etc - you've given them all a fountain of youth - except for Kreia *phew*
  22. Same with me too! I want the current story to end with K3 - not because I'm a fan 3's or anything but any longer and it'd just be dragging it. So another KotOR style game, yes, but not K4 as part of the K1 series.
  23. I loved LEGO Star Wars! All the gimics and stuff were hilarious! The fighting was easy and repetitive but hey, it has to be easy for young players as well. The smiling Rebel Troopers were just gold...

  25. Are you sure you aren't an extreme case of this where you suspect him so much that you think there is stuff attached to him :ph34r: or stretching little tidbits so far into different (you didn't start the "Force Sex" term did you?).
