Mandalorian Heavy Armor
I *think* remember experiencing something like this except it was a lightsaber - I think I reloaded an earlier save without the item, did something else (like get other items first) then went back and got that item again.

Post pic of your desktop
I haven't read all the pages - sorry but anyway, here's my wallpaper (1280x1024) The mouse on the side is covered by a sidebar, and the black bits at the bottom are covered by the start bar and another desktop bar. The black is there so it doesn't stretch from original 4:3 to 5:4.

patch
This is why I try to fix Pazaak as often as possible - I don't like hearing nothing...(and getting nothing). Problem is that Star Wars will still sell regardless. Even I admit I would still buy Star Wars games life BattleFront 2. Leak it! " (ofcourse then Obsidian would probably never get another project again)

Party Members in K1 + K2
That's the point. He was needed for the plot in exactly one place on Taris, and after that, the only reason why you would keep him is his skills. If they desperately wanted an utility droid in the party, it could have been an old droid with much to tell about his past. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> His name is HK... Besides, does T3 *really* have to beep all about his history? What's wrong about simply owning a protocol droid that you bought (or not )? That's actually one of the things K2 overused. [sarcasm, I know there are exceptions] "Everything just has to tie back to Malachor V!"

This game is average
I wasn't very happy with the direction/settomg K2 was going in and after playing, the whole force deal (I'll keep it at that - non-spoilers) didn't appeal to me and looking at the title and Nihilus/Atris art, it all turned out to be a fizzer for me. Overall I'd say the game is above average, but not very fulfilling.

Party Members in K1 + K2
Canderous didn't have any real reason to stay with you so yeh, I suppose it was kinda no-reason at all, but not psychotic. Carth has a reason to be whiner. They make the point that Mission is a brat but you end up helping her and being a friend. Bastila's DS preaching was the whole point of the game and romance quest, and has good party cohesion anyway. T3-M4 doesn't have a history - he was just built! and Jolee is a force addition but at least it wasn't under a threat or anything like Kreia. Also, it's not fair to penalise the K1 Team for helping, say a DS you, because it wasn't in the game. The influence deal and stuff was because of K1 feedback - I'm pretty sure BioWare didn't reject the idea of it. I'd be rather worried that without influence the K1 Party is still comparable to K2. Bastila romance was cliche but still very enjoyable and fulfilling and still very relevant to Star Wars dealy especially with Episode 2 around then.

Pure Pazaak
You seem to have more knowledge and probably have a better chance of fixing it than I do Well here are some of the things I'd try - some might be completely useless but hey, I don't know about this stuff. (Revert/redownload the original unedited files) - Try putting a copy of the DLL file in game folder - Try downloading the VB6 SP6 runtime files, even though it's pretty clear you have them. Runtimes (the runtime installer says it supports Win2000) I'll try and get some more info in the mean time. Any other players on Windows 2000? (or WinNT windows folder?) The game is compatible - just the references to files are wrong.

Kreia is Handmaiden's mum?!?!?!
funny one :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That pairing reminds me of Shrek 2 Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother (although it looks nothing like her).

Is the swoop bike racing amazingly hard or what!
yeehhh.... Anyway, I gave up on Swoop Racing when I couldn't win, which I later found out was the forfeit bug and it was way too late. At least I know now for the next game. K2 Swoop racing is hard, but not too hard I guess. Just like K1, you eventually learn where things are.

Party Members in K1 + K2
K1 team/quests was better. Some say K2 had better character development but I don't agree. The whole influence system was good but K1 was a nice I guess "friendship" party and the character side quests kinda showed that you're a friend just helping out and you'd get the special Romance quest which actually made a difference... K2, like nearly everything that happened *just had to be* connected back to you, Malachor V, Force wound/hole/echo. I prefer the K1-type of relating to party members, rather than everyone having some huge secret which turns them into Jedi. I'm not sure if these are the best words or even makes sense, but "friendship depth" over "spiritual depth". Also K2 wasn't really *your* party. You carry a old hag who's clearly a traitor/loser, a fat useless droid, and a Sith Assassin who you instantly trust. So yeh, I guess the key concept I liked was the casual friendship form of relation.

MOST ANNOYING GLITCH!!!!!!!!
You should've posted in the Tech Support Forum. Well I don't know anything about the XBox version but if you load a new game and it still does it then your copy looks screwed. Did you try restarting the XBox and loading a previous game?

This game is average
There are some good previous discussions on this and I'll search up some of the links. I'm in a rush right now but here's an old one which has some good discussion: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=34537

This game is average
I haven't read the whole post...sorry. In terms of expansions, Star Trek Elite Force 2 was good, and I'm sure there are many others, but I am in the club of K1 better than K2. Seen heaps of these and generalised, you usually like it or you don't. Shameless plug " : Welcome to the boards, wanna play Pazaak! btw, have you read the thread about the Restoration Project?

Favourite Mini-Game
Swoop Racing: K1 - for credits only. I don't play for fun but not a dislike either. K2 - it was busted (forfeit bug) so I'm not sure about the returns Pazaak: K1 - Suvam for discounts only K2 - did it all in first game but probably won't anymore Turret: K1 - I use that mod which disables the random ones K2 - not too sure. I only remember the first Peragus one. If it had to be a vote for the "real" mini-games I wouldn't vote hate them all so I'd say... Swoop Racing - no cheating, fast to do with good returns.

HK factory

Favourite Mini-Game
What's your favourite mini-game (if any) in KotOR? Vote and post your reason! I know the Dueling and Puzzles aren't technically mini-games but they aren't things that have much to do with the story anyway and so just like the official minigames they add some variety. Anyway, I'd say Taris Dueling Arena. The K2 ones were more varied but Deadeye Duncan and the commentator were gold! If you vote for one of those two options post which real mini-game you would've voted for - if you would've...

K2 Final Dialog Question
*Everyone* and everything just *has* to link back to Malachor V doesn't it?! Obsidian should've put that Tatooine Auto-Print Swoop Fan in who ended up doing nothing at all! I had my eyes on him ever since I gave him the autoprint <_< Damn it BioWare! You tricked me!

Who is the best "artist" here for KOTOR2 jedi's
Also depends on what style you want as well. For instance I'm most fond of Aimo's style.

New Patches
Cut Content is cut and unfinished, and to finish them would probably take more time/money than fixing bugs - although there are obviously heaps of bugs which still happen. Besides, they aren't even releasing stuff that is already finished - higher quality music and movies. The issue relating to distributing such large files isn't much and takes less work than working on the cut content anyway. Go Team Gizka!!! (btw did you try a search...)

Star Wars Fan Art
Everytime I try to sketch something, which is not very often, I do the pencil/eraser routine and in the end it looks like a big smudge ...then realise I've used the whole eraser up

1 kotOR's game for 2 PC...
But then you miss out on the movies and/or cutscenes and won't know what's going on (or at least won't enjoy it as much). What's wrong with playing it slowly? I also take it you don't want the other person using your computer.. (it'd be a big hassle just to keep copying the saves too)

Game Crashes after movie
This is weird. I take it the other movies worked fine. If turning the movies off doesn't work, see what happens when you quicksave in those bad spots (PC Version only I guess). So when it starts loading an area with the loading screen, keep pressing quicksave repeatedly and get it immediately save after loading. If it quits try reloading it. Just make sure your main game isn't in the quicksave spot . This doesn't do anything special and usually screws up your game by wrecking scripts and stuff but well...this is new...

HK factory
And just to preclude any mix-ups, the HK Factory is the one that was supposed to be in that bunker complex on Telos surface, and is being restored by the Restoration Team, and the Droid Planet M7-whatever was also cut but will not be restored. I think I've got them the right way around

Grey Jedi
After doing that freakshow for 1 time that's one thing I won't miss! (except the XP loop-hole which I didn't milk in that game).

Dark Side Energy in Freedon Nadd's tomb
Besides from the cut content, and very specific ways to get quests to be complete or work at all, you also have the random loot generator.
