  1. To the original poster... Great post, just a few things I don't agree with. This might be true running through a DS playthrough... But how does this explain LS? You actually awaken the Force in others... That doesn't appear to be the actions of a leech. I was really dissapointed by the answer you gave. Listen people, battle difficulty has nothing to do with the storyline. Just because the battle wasn't difficult, that does not mean the character is weak according to the storyline. How many RPGs bosses actually offer a decent challange? By the time you reach that point in the game, you have the best armor, weapons, high levels, all that good stuff.
  2. #1 = (LS) You can assume that the futures Kreai foretold were real... Thus, they all lived. #2 = Who said it was fixed? During your LS play through, before you spare Kreai, she tells you to leave M5 using one of the ships on the academy. The EH has always been mysterious... That could of been it's origin. #3 = Who said the Exile is heading into the unknown region? Maybe he is heading to some Pub on the Outer Rim with his buddies. Or Perhaps he is indeed heading to the Unknown regions, only the player can decide. As for Revan, he is out there, and without him 'Out there" there would be much hope for a Kotor3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> #1: I meant why didn't you're companions try to help you fight Kreia #2: That isn't true, on the LS playthrough the Ebon Hawk rescuse you #3: Mabye I'm stupid but why in the world would the Exile decide to go anywhere else? Carth requested and Kreia sorta mad it quite evident that you were supposed to leave for the Uknown regions. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> #1: Force Knocked out? #2: You don't understand what i'm saying. Kreai tells you to use one of the ships on M5... I'm saying this is were the EH came from, there might have been other EHs on the academy. #3: Because The Exile is what you wanted him to be. Refer to my #2. Also, it's always been refered to as mysterious... It's true, Davik had it, but in Kotor2 we learned it belonged to someone before him. The real origin was never revealed.
  3. I vote for Kotor2... Since you get to actually explore it. I was to busy dodging snipers in JKO (Played through it on Master on my first playthrough) to notice anything good. JK... You start out on it right? I didn't like it much either, too grey and pixelated .

  5. More information would help... Is this after you have turned him into a Jedi?
  6. Ask Lucasarts. They're in charge of saying if/when another patch is warranted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup. Go spam their message boards and emails.
  7. I voted for "Good Graphics, s#%& Efficiency." Reason : I thought the graphics were perfect for this kind of the game. They were not over the top, but that hardly ever matters in an RPG. Also, I thought the way it worked was great too (dialogue, battle wise). However, I hated the fact the performance was not stable. Kotor1/2 ran like crap on anything but a high end system... and even on a high end system, FPS could drop like crazy at some moments for no real reason. What I saw on screen didn't justify that kind of drop. If it was tuned up a bit more, I really wouldn't mind seeing it again.
  8. It does work. The thing is though, in TSL (unlike kotor1) the text does not appear on screen. Just type whatever cheat you want and press enter. If you spelled it right, it should work.
  9. Why do people call Luke a great duelist? He was a joke of a Jedi... He got shot in the arm trying to deflect a blasters fire. -__-
  10. True. But, this patch is for PC not the Xbox.
  11. ...and a total lack of CGI. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that too maybe.... But have you seen those old Samurai movies? They rock! If you just added a glow effect...
  12. Bleh, EU. Well, I'll base this answer on the movies. I go with Obi-Wan. That duel with Anakin was amazing and probably the best in the entire series (ep.1-6). They way he fought and the choice he made... It really let me see the importance of Obi-Wan... He wasn't just another master like all the other movies lead me to believe. Offtopic a bit... I know the dueling is a bit faster in the new trilogy. But, It does make sense when you think about it. For duelist in the old trilogy.... You have an aging old Jedi Master, A cyborg which is on permenant life support, and a half baked Jedi Knight. :-P
  13. This is really getting ridiculous. Why did Obsidian say that patch would be out in a few days if they knew it would take LA forever to "QA" it. Honestly makes me sick... I'm still waiting on my new playthrough for this. =/
  14. Obsidian really should of learned from the first time they announced the patch... Never use the word soon. It's really too bad... I'm sure most people don't even care anymore.
  15. Aye. Xbox 360 doesn't seem that interesting from a technical standpoint.
  16. Yes. Your not alone. I didn't hate the end of the game. In fact, I enjoyed it more then Kotor1s. Because atleast, in TSL they don't force your character to become something he/she wasn't. I hated Kotor1 for making me Revan in the end.
  17. It's a good idea. They really don't need to add any kind of system for it either. Dismemberment should happen on the finishing blow.
  18. Interesting article regarding Xbox 360 VS PS3. http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=8834
  19. Unlike what A lot of people say... She isn't as submissive as she seems. When I headed towards the LS, she would constantly criticize my good deeds in her ever soo poetic way. Very interesting though.
  20. Nice way of welcoming someone into a comunity... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Considering you immediately start asking for things... Yes it is. But seriously, it would take anyone 5-10mins to test these drivers out. Asking someone to do it for you is stupid, considering every computer is different and could handle them in different ways. BTW, I've tested them. No performance loss over the 5.4s on my x800xl PCI-E. (nothing fixed either)
  21. 99.99% that post on those boards are missing a chromosome.
  22. Maybe... But, I think your confusing RPG Players with FPS players. The RPG croud will care more about the other aspects of the game. I hardly ever see RPGs released with top of the line graphics.
  23. They don't matter to me. What does matter, is not having a buggy, unoptimized engine. Which is what both kotor1 and 2 had... -__-
  24. It's a good game in it's own right. I actually wouldn't call it a MMORPG... considering how much of the game is instanced. The areas are always the same, no matter how many times you enter them. Anyhow it's more like a MMog ^^.
