  1. This is what having low self esteem is like. Also for further laughs https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2026/02/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-strengthens-united-states-national-defense-with-americas-beautiful-clean-coal-power-generation-fleet/
  2. I could finally beat Gaol. Now I have to deal with the other mob on top of the library guarding the door but I think I might take a break from him. He is tough...
  3. Ok, so I went into Elden Ring NG+ and I have to say.... it's so damn easy, damn. Seems I'm completely overleveled. Nothing is really too much of a threat to me. Sure I still kinda die every once in a while, but so far I was able to absolutely smoke every boss I've attempted. Just today I've taken down Mogh again, and then I did Radahn... he couldn't even go into his phase 2. I've speeded through it a little, because I wanted to unlock the DLC area again. Haven't tried the bosses there yet, but I'm sure they won't be too much of an issue either. Feels a bit like Bloodborne, where I went into NG+ and just started smoking everything as if I'm still in the regular game.
  4. And exactly because of what you said about the risks in this industry, expecting every single game to have 30% margin is IMHO damaging, as there are only few games which could boast with such a margin in last 6 years. According to Bloomberg, the average profit margin in the video game industry is 17-22%. Over the past six years, Xbox has hit 10-20%. To put that 30% target into more context, Sony's PlayStation division achieved a 16% profit margin in Q1 FY25. Link to mentioned Bloomberg article behind paywall, if anyone owns access to them: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-23/microsoft-pushes-xbox-studios-to-hit-higher-profit-margins
  5. Avowed could never be Elders Scrolls, because one big part of it being so popular still is it's easy moddability. I don't know why they just can't see this. If you put out your game on Unreal, there won't be any mods. The game will be forgotten in a month. This happens all the time with those games. You need mods, to keep people in the loop. Making mods for Bethsoft games is so incredibly easy that anyone can do it. Sure they sell more on consoles than PC yadda-yadda, but mods in the news are what brings people back over and over. Hell, you just have to look at Skyrim or FNV Nexus. The amount of mods for those games is crazy.
  6. The problem here is MS having a target of 30% profit for their games. So if Avowed/TOW2 came in at 20% profit, which by any measure would be a success story, the mere mention of them "not meeting sales targets" sets off an avalanche of "the games bombed/were a failure" type of unfair asinine comments which undermines those games and Obsidian's reputation. :(
  7. This is very Sony. At least in this case you get the new version for free, with FF1-6, you had to pay again. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/39140/view/514107648813039662?l=english
  8. blessed darkness has a button now
  9. As Gorth said, at the bottom of the page on the left hand side are your brightness settings :)
  10. Hey @Sarex , There are actually a couple of solves for this. The first is that there is a system that carried over from the previous version where if you click the dot to the left of the thread link, it will take you to the first unread post. If you don't like that solution, you can also personalize how you see posts by clicking your Avatar icon at the top of the page and going to Account Settings. From there you can go to Content Preferences and set where you want to be taken when opening a thread I hope that helps!
  11. Woot, thanks @Gfted1 🥰
  12. This.... my eyes are bleeding! 😄
  13. Another change I don't like (I'm assuming it's a change and not a bug) is that clicking on a thread no longer brings you to the first unread reply. That is very useful. I can live without the page numbers next to thread names, but I don't like that the only choice now is to navigate to the first page when clicking a thread and clicking the last page icon next to the thread name.
  14. ^^ What is with some "default" program layout designers these days. What is that monstrosity for - touch screens? I guess you're supposed to be able to put some image over every forum sub-category? Ugh.
  15. https://gamerant.com/gdc-2026-ice-concerns-us-safety-fears-dev-comments/ "Multiple European and Canadian executives told MobileGamer.biz they are reducing headcount for this year's edition of the event, with some even skipping the show altogether. Several cited escalating U.S. immigration enforcement and related safety concerns as one of the reasons for scaling back or canceling their attendance."
  16. New Arc Line has some interesting ideas. But there isn't much content yet. And with the devs being Ukrainian, a part of the fanbase isn't certain they'll be able to complete the game. If/when the next update hits, I'll let you know how it is coming along.
