  1. I have finished Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness. It is a party-based CRPG with RTwP combat in a fantasy setting. While the writing is uneven and the combat is simple (not based on an existing system), there is enough roleplay, QoL features, and some interesting gameplay systems to make the experience enjoyable. There is also delightfully little bloat allowing for a completionist playthrough of a reasonable length of 30-40 hours. The review which was longer than the character limit on Steam and GOG (there are no spoilers but it is long) :

  2. She did that with anything that was in her range. I think I oneshot the final boss (well oneshot the stages of the final boss)... Fun times.

  3. Facing the exact same issue. I ended up clearing Spireton alone, but then going to the Archive via Newton. Cleared it myself without help, then I went back and did all the parts of Equitable Arrangement. After I fixed UENIAC, there was nobody waiting for me to take the Caladuceus. I tried fast traveling to Spireton and some Archive soldiers appeared and ran to the lift, but the door was still locked. I unlocked the lift from the Archive side but still nobody is coming up to advance the quest. Now I guess I need to decide whether to wait an indefinite amount of time for this bug to be fixed (it's been a month since this thread was created) or just do the final mission alone so I can finish the game.

  4. As @omgFIREBALLS already said: the fight is winnable without any DLC content. If you wait too long it might even feel too easy. Single target damage dealers like Rogues, Fighters, Paladins (unless they already have Sacred Immolation), Rangers etc. are not as useful in this battle because there will be so many enemies and targeting single enemies isn't as effective as targeting many. Although they can use spellbinding gear and scrolls of course. A high accuracy Fighter with good INT and MIG, equipped with Rotfinger Gloves for example is nice. Should you have a Rogue with Deathblows and high Lore then make sure a bunch of enemies suffers two afflictions that unlock Deathblows and then use a damaging AoE scroll (non-DoT) or spellbinding (Taluntain's Staff for Fireballs for example) with him: Deathblows will grant +100% dmg to those spells. AoE is king here, so bringing Wizard (Chillfog, Walls, Combusting Wounds, Kalakoth's Minor Blights + Blast/Citzal's Spirit Lance), Priest (Shining Beacon), Chanter (Dragon Thrashed), Druid (Relentless Storm, Overbearing Wave) and Cipher (see below) are good. Especially Ciphers can shine here because there's so many weak enemies to farm focus from - and then turning it into AoE CC and damage. Ring Leader or Amplified Wave are excellent tools in this fight (if you already have access to them). Monks with Torment's Reach and high INT as well as an Overseeing item are also very effective since it's easy to hit a lot of enemies at once. And it's also easy to get wounds... Barbarians can have good effect with an overbearing or stunning weapon and high INT - and if they already have Blood Thirst it should be a field day for them due to the many weaker enemies which will allow to proc Bloodlust and Blood Thirst often. If you have Heart of Fury already then combine it with a Wizard's Combusting Wounds and a dual weapon setup.

  5. Without White March factions helping you, you only have one option during the event yes, and that's using whatever Defiance Bay faction supports you to take out the berserkers. Outside of the battle itself, you can improve your odds by hiring better mercenaries (costs 10k) and killing Captain Emery. Trying to get her to join your cause is pointless as far as the battle goes - she will only do it if you're already winning anyway. You can take the battle whenever you want though. You can wait until level 12 if you like. The game won't punish you for stalling. I've never used the WM options - you can certainly win without having every advantage possible. Besides, WM1 + WM2 equal higher level cap, more loot, more abilities, etc. There are so many ways they can make this battle (and other base game content) easier without involving the scripted options. I wouldn't imply some nefarious P2W scheme here

  6. Still playing Elden Ring. Farmed two Bandit's Curved Swords in 20 minutes. Lucky me? Now to choose the proper Ash of War...

  7. Finished Outer Worlds 2. I put a lot of hours into it, I'd say about 50, and I felt like I searched most corners to get content done. There were some collection quests I didn't finish, but the story stuff was good and I liked what happened to all my companions. It was a fun universe to explore. I'll probably wait for some DLC before playing again. It felt bigger and more epic than OW1 and Avowed, so that was good. Now I'm playing Xenonauts 2, which just released Milestone 6. This makes the game feature complete. The next milestone is full release, so I'm planning on trying to get through a whole campaign before that drops. I've only lost 1 soldier so far, and that was due to a bad explosive throw. Lesson learned, propane tanks go boom.

  8. There are lots of game breaking bugs around the Inez character after trying to read more info about our shared issue. Unfortunately not finding too many with the exact same issue as ours. I had left completing this quest for a number of days and last night decided to try it once more to find that it no longer showed a map marker for it. Same results of not being able to use gathered evidence so just bit the bullet and completed it. May have missed out on character perk due to this but need to check. Could be a long wait/never fixed bug though.

  9. I don't know of any way. But I didn't have that problem - I played at a time when Argenta killed trash mobs faster than it would take to search for a mod and install it At least encounters don't respawn.

  11. Ukraine is over, they will accept any plan at this point, front is collapsing, soldiers are deserting at mass and latest corruption scandal will deal final blow to EU support. Better to accept whatever they can get now than later

  14. The reason why Russia "allows" europeans to protect Ukraine is that they know how little the help of Europe is worth it. We are too slow, too cautious, too much don't want to get involved. We all know that if this peace plan would be put into place, Ukraine will be over.
