  1. According to my LGBT friends, trans people are lowest in the "pecking order". The group that other LGBT groups will bully and throw to the wolves. I.e. the most vulnerable group with the least friends.

  2. Hi! I tried a little new idea: combining Skald, Blightheart and Ancient into a death & decay-themed build. The core mechanics are: using Wicked Briars etc. to "accidentially" kill weak summons such as Ancient Brittle Bones and later Many Lives Pass By (Venombloom doesn't work bc. skeleton are immune to poison) Blightheart grants +1 phrases per such kill (and killed enemies, too of course) use those phrases to cast White Worms (and later the upgrade Putrid Stench) which only costs 2 phrases, has a huge AoE and does incredible base damage only drawback: White Worms needs a fresh corpse for every cast. But here comes the fun part: Many Lives Skeletons actually leave a body when they die. This body can be used for White Worms (and other things such as Garden of Life). The Skald's 6-sec gap between each skeleton is enough to provide sufficient phrases for spamming White Worms constantly, killing enemies very quickly (and being able to use their bodies then, too) I tried it out with a "consoled" character in SSS: it works remarkably well. Being able to nearly always use White Worms "on demand" is a gamechanger imo. The build is also very versatile, being a Theurge and so on. Besides the core mechanics/spells you can pick whatever spells/ invocations sound great and fitting. In general special gear besides Blightheart does not matter much, which lets you "dress up" more freely to match the theme. I used the Horns of the Bleak Mother because it looks cool and fits this build because of the Pwgra story attached to it. But the White Void helmet would be better because it gives the White Worms Upgrade (Putrid Stench) +10 ACC (because there's sicken attached to it) and of course it's great for Venombloom etc., too. Nature Godlike or Death Godlike would be fitting as well I think. But what do you think?

I've durganized that flail a dozen times. New special rule: Black market allows refunds.

  4. Today, Netflix suggested to me that there's a chance that I would enjoy Reincarnated as a Sword. Knowing nothing of it, I took a look at the picture Netflix used as thumbnail: What have I done wrong that the Netflix algorithm thinks there's even a remote chance of me liking this? I could understand Prime giving me that suggestion, given the abject weirdness I indulge in there because it often has the strangest animes and I play the "close your eyes and cycle through available animes, randomly stop and watch what the cursor ended up at"* game there, but my Netflix watch history of anime is pretty much limited to Cardcaptor Sakura (which is no longer available there, sadly), Dungeon Meishi and Sailor Moon: Eternal. Well, unless it counts the Castlevania animated series as anime, in which case I still don't get it, but there'd be an medieval action base to work from. *You know what's actually funny and a bit sad? Said silly method of picking animes to watch has an actually higher success rate at finding something I at least enjoy a little than trying out series I looked into before. Both Dropkick on my Devil and kemurikusa were fairly enjoyable. Escaflowne was a Prime suggestion too, now that I think of it.

  5. It is thematic and match very well with the Charm of Bones, for the AoE size of Putrid Stench and the Wicked Briar attacks vs skellies.

  6. I think trans people are an easy target for the exclusivity party to target. It's not like trans people weild a significant economic or voter clout, so they're not much of a threat for a backlash. Yes it's strange to politically obsess so much over what's effectively a tiny minority with little influence. It may be an indirect rallying cry; like the opposite of virtue signalling.

  8. Hmm FM could be the name for a cool series of Radio Host Simulators. Don't listen to the Deb of Night, be the Deb of Night. Create playlists to attract certain audiences and establish yourself in the city's subcultures. Try to appeal to the masses and mainstream success. Wrangle callers live on air. Play for the sleepless, play for the morning crowd. And uncover a dark conspiracy in your city. Or don't and just settle for cash and local fame.

  10. Beastars - The End of Beastars - Part 1 of ???? So first of all this bull**** with split seasons can go **** itself. Just make two seasons and save us all the confusion. More importantly it's pretty funny, there's just something about doing a show about anthropomorphic animals while also doubling down on them being animals that is hilarious. We're introduced to the Beastar, a horse who is pretty much Batman in a wifebeater, that hunts down criminals and turns carnivores into fertilizer to grow his carrots. That alone had me laughing for quite a bit. But then there's some stuff that can be read interestingly (both good and very bad), like the difficulties of interspecies relationships, discrimination against carnivores, and the difference between land and sea. Anyways the show is full of stuff like that with uncanny cgi that doesn't grate as bad when it's not humans.
