At the end of the game, it would be great to make a winter mode.So that the whole map is covered with snow and it gets cold everywhere. The usual bugs have been replaced by frost-resistant and dangerous ones. These are spiders, scorpions and you can also add new dangerous species. The essence of the winter regime is that it should be a difficult regime, there is no food, there is no water.Water now needs to be extracted from the ice.You can bake your own food from frozen grass and bug parts.

Nuclear holocaust or re-emergence of the black plague in the ME ....its going to happen !!!! Either way the entire world is over because of the USA

Trumps peace deal for Gaza has broad support in the region and globally We have been talking about how terrible this war has been for 2 years and no single country could have pulled off what the US has achieved because its the only country that has real influence over Israel and good relations with Arab countries that matter around Hamas influence like Qatar and Egypt The first few deliverables of the Trump plan have been successfully implemented It could still collapse around things like how Gaza is governed going forward because Hamas wont be part of that and if Hamas is still around that will motivate Israel to continue its military campaign Those points of the plan need to still be implemented I dont see this as a final solution to the Israeli vs Palestinian conflict because I firmly still believe only a 2 state solution can achieve that But its more about ending the latest war and that is definitely achievable

The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!
rjshae replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Way Off-Topic
It is the most expensive TV show ever made, costing $1 billion thus far. Pretty remarkable how much the studios are willing to spend these days. -
I love how the game fast forwards and shows the day night cycle while resting on a bed. However since its just the perspective of the player from the bed if you have the bed inside you miss out on that feature completely. The new bed with a canopy blocks that view as well. I think there should be a view from either outside each area or around the park at different angles. I currently have my bed on my roof since its the best view currently and ive enjoyed sleeping with it there but I do wish I could put it in my master bedroom and still enjoy that view.

Dunno, has majestic actually watched S2 of RoP or S5 of Discovery*? There may well be a limit to the ability to hate watch. *in the end a perfectly adequate of its kind season, though I think half of that was Eve Harlow (also true for Not the far superior Night Manager, But Something Named Similarly on Netflix). It did have easily the most self indulgent last 3/4 of a final episode of all time! though, and there's some stuff competition there. Something I never thought I'd ever say: I kind of wish we got S6 of Discovery, since all its problems seem to have migrated to the previously far superior SNW along, presumably, with the attention and 'talents' of the management/ producer team. -

Well whaddya ya know, DJT finally did something useful and of note. Not that I buy any of this "historic dawn of a new Middle East" messaging. This is just another interlude before the next conflict. The only question is, how long will the ceasefire last?

Beat the ice sickle challenge, got the key and went to open the chest which you had to dig out. Opened the chest with the key and nothing happened. The chest just opened and no "mint globs" dropped. Those mint globs as of today, writing this thread are used in crafting the ice sickles. Since i don't posses those globes even though i ran around the chest and didn't find any. Now i cannot craft the weapon at all, since i believe there is no other way of crafting them.

All I heard about it was that it's bad, so I never even bothered with it. No clue if I ever will. -
nearing two weeks later not a single response not a peep not a word, my guess there is no support.

I've heard from a few people whose opinions I mildly trust that it's good to great, but I've also heard from a few other people whose opinions I trust at least a little more that it's pretty bad. I can only assume it's one of those things where if it clicks, it clicks, and if it doesn't, into the trash it goes. -

Sometimes I just want my buggy to follow me but not attack anything. This would be a great feature. I notice the roadmap mentions customizations but not sure if that is cosmetic or what. Its nice that the buggy already has stay but sometimes you want it to just follow you. Thank you for hearing me out.

Rings of Power is really great. The internal logic and consistency is top notch, the acting is a tour de force, the dialogue is simply *chef's kiss*, the costumes are perfect and to top it all off they really made sure to pay the necessary respect to the source material. Then there's the casting, just incredible. Galadriel and Elrond really come to life, better than in the books, and certainly much better than Hugo Weaving or Cate Blanchett ever were in the films. I just realized I did not yet praise the editing, camerawork, the sets, the scene building, shot composition, the fantastic sound design and the music. -

Random video game news... RNG is your friend!
Sven_ replied to Frak_the_2nd's topic in Computer and Console
At some point the system may change anyhow. The console generation cycle has always relied on experiences that were fundamentally unachievable with prior hardware. If there's no novelty involved, any new console generation becomes a bit of a hard sell. Graphics advancement has significantly slowed down. Whilst actual photo realism is still a good few years away -- not every game may sell on realism as is already. This is also a part of the triple-A crisis: "Decent graphics" are pretty much everywhere. Much like special effects in Hollywood, it's all dime a dozen. It's hard to truly "WOW" anybody anymore. For decades, studios could rely on that Police Academy 25, er, Assassin's Creed 15 would sell anyhow, as it looked so much more realistic than the one before it. No more. And one day games may be consumed the same way as movies -- or similar. It's when people don't at all care how old a game is. For as long as it's not from the stone ages of video gaming, where hardware limitations proved still a severe challenge. They aren't really anymore. Haven't been for a few years already. Outside of ultra realistic graphics and literally building the holodeck, game makers could make anything they wanted to make today. Only that, they rarely do. They are afraid to do it. Or aren't allowed to make it. As with rising budgets comes rising risk. Even THE NEXT BIG THING this industry is waiting for is another sequel to a franchise now entering its third decade. Meanwhile Warren Spector's once dream project idea is far more likely to be tackeled by 'em indies -- naturally, with a more focused scope, rather than GOING ALL IN WITH EM MILLIONS OF CA$H. -
Because INT not only prolongs hostile effects on enemies and beneficial effects on you, but it also influences the size of all AoE. Pretty important for a caster in general and especially when he's also using AoE weapons (implement + Blast). If you are using Kalakoth's Minor Blights: they have an AoE (bigger with more INT) and every hit in that AoE creates a Blast (bigger with more INT). So INT is much more important than PER in this case. The impact of PER on accuracy is pretty noticable in the early game by the way - but the further you progress the less significant it becomes because the accuracy bonus from PER is just a flat one and there are so many other influences on accuracy or hit quality (stacking acc buffs, weapon quality, stacking defense debuffs etc.) that the flat bonus from PER doesn't hold as much impact as in the early game (where it's very useful).

Apologies if this has already been mentioned.... The day/night cycle seems accelerated. Or that is feels like it's night longer than it is day and that daytime is super brief. Could be just a 'feels' thing, but I would love some more daytime. Thx, fun game so far!

Grounded 2 playground should have the ability to create flat worlds where you can start from scratch and build your own anthills and add water to ditches you build.
