  7. You can use the Community Patch (Basic or all of it) right away. The changes it makes are reasonable, unobstrusive and improve the gameplay and balance. Also I nowadays would hate to level up without the unique icons for passive abilities from the CP - because I 'd have to mouseover every passive ability to check which one it actually is. Some few standard icons get reused for a lot in the vanilla game which is a bit annoying imo. I would also highly recommend the Enhanced UI mod (by Spherical), I wouldn't want to play the game without it. It just adds some additional UI bits for more info and tooltips which is really useful without messing with the game mechanics at all.

  9. Thank you very much ill try the Streetfighter version - By the way is see the Deadfire Community Patch in your Post at the end is it recommended to take the Basic version ? Or do that for a second run ?
  10. Add caramel which would require A tier 3 shovel as Carmel is known to be chewy and then make it so you can turn It into salted caramel and bam salty candy staff
  11. Hi, your Scout should work well. As backup weapon you can take a bow at first and then use one of Serafen's mortar blunderbusses or Eccea's Arcane Blaster. If you'd want more sustained damage potential instead of a few high accuracy hits from stealth/invisibility you could swap Assassin with Streetfighter and mainly use dual blunderbusses (AoE and regular) with the Powder Burns modal. This added cone damage also distracts you - but this unlocks the Streetfighter's passive which leads to -50% recovery/reloading times and +50% Sneak Attack damage which leads to pretty crazy DPS output.

  15. It's certainly not an unusual length for RPG-Likes that try to be HUGE ASS 100+ hour GAMES (see Kingdom Come 2, Starfield, BG3....) As said, it's one of Obsidians own main objectives to now cut that down to three, four years. Speaking about MS' profit targets, I'm sure they're calculacting that in, but: Pricing a game, any game at 70-80 bucks whilst making it available on Game Pass isn't promoting that game. It's promoting Game Pass first and foremost. Not sure about you guys, but games at that price point have to REALLY win me over (which increasingly fewer of these risk averse big budget games desperate to cater to everyone and their pet hamster do). Else I'd rather buy 2 great indie games and a glorious Pentiment (and still have money to spare for snacks and drinks on top of it). What Raf Colantonio said. Xbox Game Pass ‘damaging’ the game industry, former Xbox dev says inXile's Clockwork Revolution is likely going to face a battle too.
  16. I think Gromnir's pretty safe from that at least. You deliberately write badly, then blame others for their 'misinterpretations'. This happens very frequently and has happened at least three times in this thread. It's also happened to others. It's very much a you problem. Again, I'm specifically not arguing with you, that's why everything is just repeated. Took long enough for you to notice, since I told you in the very first reply. Bonus, takes me nearly no time at all. Probably 75% is mucking around with quotes and the disappearing cursor. OK, you brought up Blix, in the context of WMD, per the quote of yours that you keep on ignoring (this is a pattern). I just brought him up to show you didn't provide sources. Very relevant here, since you complained about me not providing them. OK, you kept repeating that searching for information about Reza Pahlavi when you wanted information on him was ridiculous while searching for iran protests was the thing to do. I even quoted you doing so the post previous. Another literal lol. Pointing out that you do exactly what you accuse others of is not whataboutism, nor is it gaslighting or any other phrase those who cannot argue their way out of a paper bag use reflexively; it's just the truth. The first defence of anyone caught out in hypocrisy is to scream whataboutism (we're talking about what is wrong with you only! anything else is whataboutism!) and the only reason you're doing it here is because you don't have an actual refutation, because you cannot have an actual refutation. All those things you've accused me of you've done yourself. I'm generally of the opinion that even people I don't like or don't value the opinion of are at least worth listening to, but this and you... I even feel bad laughing at this point.
  17. 30% doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Perhaps even quite reasonable, within the limits of what you'd expect from MBA types. I'm not sure there are any publishers that would metaphorically get out of bed for something that takes 5 years to generate a 10-20% profit even in a sector where most products lose money; the lower end is probably a practical loss due to inflation. Companies will take low reward so long as it's also low risk (and low opportunity cost, ie you don't have something better to do with the money) but gaming is really not low risk; on an individual title basis it's high risk and mostly relies on big returns from a few titles rather than moderate returns from lots. That's a not unusual length of time for games today, at least when they have pretensions about being a big hit. Which is a bit of an indictment on the industry as a whole.

  21. I'm having this issue too, except it's the other stick (camera). Occasionally, the camera will start drifting in a random direction. I know this can't be my analog stick because: a. the controller is brand new (Flydigi Apex 5), b. it doesn't happen in any other game (in Rocket League for instance, my deadzone is 0 and even the tiniest movement in any direction with that stick is perfect), c. it even happens when using my controller's gyro aim (which also doesn't happen in any other game, and doesn't even make sense to have drift). The drift disappears when I turn the controller off and on, but reappears shortly after. This definitely has to be a software bug of some sort, most likely with OW2.
  22. total joke how long does it take to fix this stupid bug wont be buying anymore games from obsidian if this is not fixed soon only one needed for platinum
  23. Yeah you are absolutely correct about that IMHO insane profit margin. I doubt, that in MS anyone, except iD and Bethesda can meet this target (even Blizzard cannot do it anymore). I am kind of disappointed, that they bought so many smaller AA studios, and then they decides to come up with such crazy profit margin target for them. This might pretty much kill all the smaller size projects in these studios for the foreseeable future.

  25. I’m running into an issue where mouse input and audio freeze completely, while the game keeps running. Keyboard input still works. If I close the game immediately, mouse input often recovers If I wait too long, mouse stays dead until full system reboot Happens both after some playtime and sometimes immediately on launch CPU/GPU usage normal This also happens without USB audio (tested HDMI/monitor + analog), so it doesn’t seem hardware- or USB-related. This looks like a possible input/audio deadlock (render loop keeps running while input/audio lock up). Has anyone seen this or found a workaround or specific setting that avoids it?
  26. thought that grounded could use some more insects that I'm pretty sure would appear in a U.S. Park House Centipede - Neutral : are usually found somewhere dark and with a lot of moisture house Centipedes like to hunt spiders and roaches , House Centipedes drops House Centipede parts and House Centipede legs . Hornet - Aggressive : Hornets are Flying around the park looking for spiders to prey on , Hornets drops Hornet shells , Hornet Legs , and Hornet Stinger , which can be used to make a spear or arrows for a bow . Grasshopper - Neutral : Grasshoppers would just be a variant (or a different color) of the cricket Grasshopper drops Grasshopper legs , and Grasshopper meat . Locust - Aggressive : Locusts would just be a variant (or a different color) of the cricket Locust legs , and locust meat .
  27. Good grief. A see two posters who need their own rant thread. (Seen on FARK.) Meanwhile, DJT is again wanting to turn the page on the whole Epstein affair. The problem is he's on that pages as well, and the next, and the next...
  28. I had the issue too but i fixed it by switching my azerty keyboard to qwerty by pressing windows + shift+ space.

  30. Hi there, anyone working on this? I've tried different approaches but still stuck on 1/6 on PS5. Please fix it, I am a bit worried it won't get fixed at all.
  31. Hello all, First of all i like to thank everyone who helped me on my POE1 Cipher Gun build a while ago. I even took it further and with some Companion builds from the Forum managed to even beat PotD on my second full run. Thanks to the Awesome advice from this forum - big thanks for that ! Now i want to put my mind and time that i have to POE2 - i never played much tbh. Dropped it after release and played about 20hrs of it. I love Guns in Pillars i find any type cool and would love some suggestions on somewhat Beginner friendly builds. I started a quick Idea this morning using this. Tbh i dont know how much resolve / con is needed for harder difficulties. I play Real Time with Pause. Classic/Veteran (hope to crank it up) with Scaling only Upwards. In my mind i wanna be this oppurtunistic Rogue/Pirate that doesnt care for the "right" way this time and just wants to make some fat stacks of money and accumulate as much Power as possible. Ranger doesnt fit to that but it seems to work at least in the first 6 levels. Im currently trying Arquebus which seems to work kinda nice with the Modal thing. But I probably need another damage type as backup Assassin/Scout with a bear - Dissident Stealth, Mechanics, Bluff - Elf / Old Vailia Might 16 Con 8 Dex 17 + 1 Per 16+ 1 Int 16 + 1 Resolve 3
  32. Avowed could never be Elders Scrolls, because one big part of it being so popular still is it's easy moddability. I don't know why they just can't see this. If you put out your game on Unreal, there won't be any mods. The game will be forgotten in a month. This happens all the time with those games. You need mods, to keep people in the loop. Making mods for Bethsoft games is so incredibly easy that anyone can do it. Sure they sell more on consoles than PC yadda-yadda, but mods in the news are what brings people back over and over. Hell, you just have to look at Skyrim or FNV Nexus. The amount of mods for those games is crazy.
  33. Just a simple Retexture of a handful of sprites. As a grounded fan I obviously bought the founders pack to support the game so when I was looking at the art book I saw some very cool explorations of sprites. I think these should be in the game instead of the ones we have now or at least an option if you have the founders pack. -AXL AXL's concepts look so cool! Well I am happy with the sprite that we got, I just think a vibrant purple or toxic green would fit better. -The Snake The two snake explorations make it look a lot sharper and kinda cute. I get that the snake isn't really a predatory species (I think?) but I really like those concepts. -The Teens The Teen's explorations look so much better and most of them have more pop than the ones in-game. I especially like Max's and Pete's second explorations (the ones with the hoodies/jackets) I understand that the ones we got are simpler because they are more flat and allow for better armour visuals but again, I think there should be an option to switch the sprites on and off if you have the founders pack like the others. I really liked Grounded and I can't wait to see what the final version of Grounded 2 looks like. It would be awesome to see some of the art make it into the game!
  34. I have been a huge supporter and player of the grounded series i loved the first game and i love the second game (even though its not finished) but i do have a couple suggestions or Feedback if you will about some of the resources and crafting. the lint is very scarce in the areas that it is in, and farming it is a chore, the picnic table is a great spot to farm it, but the item itself is really really tiny and hard to grab in third person, and boy does it bounce everywhere, i wish the resource grabbing was kind of like the bugs, where when you farm the object or bug it just goes into your inventory, for certain items anyway, farming the lint on the scarecrow is way worse then the picnic table, cause your dangerously high up and it scatters everywhere and most just vanish or get locked under objects you cant move... i have 2 pieces of lint get stuck under the glass cup at the bottom of the picnic table that were lost forever... at best the one fix is either make it go directly into your inventory when the node is farmed, or make the lint piece bigger in size and less bouncy. Curved walls are just none excitant in Grounded 2 like they were in Grounded 1, for example the pumpkin, mushroom, and pine needle walls are all straight and no curves, whereas in Grounded 1 there were curved walls for every type of building material, currently the only curved walls and floors to match are only grass and weed stem materials. just an added thought while i am here, mostly this was about the Lint being a problem.
