hi, in my concern, build around pistol(s) is always good with multiclassed ranger (Arcane Archer with Thundercrack pistol, or Gunhawk with a mod) combined with Monk (Nalpazca or Helwaler at distance) since Enduring Dance generate wounds and accuracy. If you want to make an one handed pistolero, the modal is a good option : you loose the +35% action speed from dual wielding, but the -50% reload time bonus match well with these weapons (1.1s attack, 5.0 reload time), so without loosing accuracy, since One Handed provide +12acc. You can also take a look to Ranger - Barbarian (Berserker or Mage Slayer*), really fast and efficient build even if you loose Carnage attack. -* as mage slayer, melee weapon hit produce a significative debuff to caster enemy, and that work with the AoE attack of Frostseeker, so you can use it as second weapon slot to manage casters at distance. 9 pen is not a lot, so Tenacious and other pen buffs can be usefull (Berseker's Frenzy or Monk's Thunderous Blows for example). Constitution debuff is also a good way, and this is also an alternative way to "increase" damages done, if you look as percent of total health. Higher accuracy is also a good way to buff pen, if you crit often. Passive acc bonuses from Ranger stack with actives, and Driving Flight & Concussive Tranquiliser are brutals. If you want to build a versatile pistolero with a spell palette, ranger + chanter or cipher (+ ranger or solo) can be good, also, but not at the caliber of monk or barbarian. ThundercracK pistol is really good, but Eccea's Arcane Blaster is not a joke, but if you opte for this last weapon and choose Bullet Time enchantment, take care to look the effect from your eyes, this is not listed in the current effect window (only in the character page (at c) ). You are able to prolonge the short duration with Int, and Ooblit if you get it, and Salvation of Time from priest.

Actually almost all of the main characters suck. VSD isn't quite so annoying, though, as Kell or Kai - he's a Superman but is emo about failing. -

I still can't finish the game. Yes, they fixed AC dialog, thank you. She is ready for dialog with Order, but said that I still need to complete some missions for Ruth. When I talk to Ruth - she takes the magic stick and AC becomes angry. I finished two missions for Order (chemical manufactory and space station), and now I need to kill AC. So, no negotiations, no dialog lines. -

I haven't read those in a while, not even sure I finished the trilogy. Kell is the Martyest of Marty Sues. I always liked his name though. -
I’ve played a bit of Starfinder in the past, mostly 1E, and it can be a fun system if you like the blend of classic d20 mechanics with sci-fi elements. It definitely has that ‘retro space adventure’ vibe you mentioned, which is part of the charm. The setting is pretty broad too, so GMs can run everything from hard-sci-fi to space opera. The main critique I’ve heard is that 1E can get crunchy, especially at higher levels, so I’m pretty curious to see how the 2E update streamlines things. Paizo’s approach with the playtest has been pretty transparent, and it sounds like they’re trying to make it more approachable while keeping the flavor intact. If you’re already comfortable with Pathfinder and enjoy sci-fi themes like Fallout or Rogue Trader, Starfinder is probably going to hit the right notes for you. I’d say it’s worth picking up the new edition to see how it feels at the table.

My training is going pretty well. The run came back quickly and I'm feeling fast again. It's still a grind to get out on a Sunday and put up a 7+ run in an hour, but it is definitely the discipline I am most comfortable with. Biking is tough right now with the cold. I've done a few rides in the garage on the trainer, but I definitely need to put more hours in when it warms up. The swim has been the most fun. I swim at an outdoor pool in the mornings twice a week. I get up and out there around 6 and then jump in the shower around 6:45, and I've been getting to work with no issues. I started a program called Tridot that gives me swim workouts. My watch actually tells me what to do and beeps at me when it is time to go, and vibrates when I'm on the last lap. It makes it easy to follow. Unfortunately my watch has crashed a few times mid-workout. I don't really want to buy a new Garmin, but we will see. Also Tridot gives me grades on my workouts and weird graphs like this:

Star Wars: Outlaws - Pretty interesting so far. The world looks great and it is busy with lots of NPC's. The story and characters are solid. Your furry sidekick is adorable and useful. The controls are weird. It's a game designed for a controller but really doesn't need to be. I prefer M&K, and it is way better for looking around and firing the blaster, but it has some awkward bits. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, plenty of 3rd person games already have good keyboard layouts that you can copy. The stealth is a bit sloppy too. It plays a bit like the Hitman games. It is serviceable. Anyways, should be a fun game to play over winter break. I'm watching Solo as well, which is a good companion movie to the game. Honestly the game makes a lot more sense if you've watched all the animated stuff. The Pikes and Crimson Dawn aren't exactly mainstream Star Wars lore.

And they can use the war as an excuse to throw Venezuelans out of the country too, no?
-
It's their play style. The play like little b***es...
-
I mean the US needs new veterans. I would imagine that since it's been a while from the last war the army is getting to be inexperienced. Looks like a perfect low risk opportunity, they just need Venezuela to fight back a little.

Allegedly we could get an announcement for a new Divinity title by Larian. Icon on teased Game Awards statue seems to align pretty well with recently discovered Divinity trademark. Which sounds like soon, with it would line up if they want to do Early Access again within the next year or so. https://mp1st.com/news/report-tga-statue-mystery-solved-new-divinity-trademark-uncovered-as-new-icon-matches-statue
