Wizard subclasses are fine if you look ahead and see what spells you're locked out of. You can always cover locked spells thru a companion/adventurer. But if Illusionist is what you wanted, a trickster Rogue for multiclass gets several Illusion spells for free that cost Guile to cast and you have all the base Rogue abilities that can debuff enemies. It's only a 10% downgrade in sneak atk dmg compared to no subclass. Rogue and Fighter both have options to displace themselves/enemies/allies and between Fighter stances and Rogue passives, you can contribute dps easily. Skills are gonna be whatever you prefer. Athletics is a cheap heal option, Arcana if you want to use scrolls to get more of the battlemage vibe. Explosives can be nice on a Fighter because they get buffed by the hit conversion bonus they get so soon.

The fencing should be improved so that we either have half pieces or you can just do place many and it will fill the space you need it to.

No subclass or blood mage is way to go bro. Trust me you ll be upset when you cannot cast some good spells later in your run if you go with that subclasses.

The absence of regular voting is worse. Having said that, the American political system is a bit of a joke. They should break up the two party system into smaller constituents like they do in anti trust cases, and institute proportional representation just for starters. An anti corruption drive is also sorely needed. by 'drive' I probably mean purge. Lock the worst offenders up and scare the rest straight.

I don't like Radahn, not the regular game Radahn or the promised consort. Design wise, he's just weaksauce. I did beat him though, I think I used a shield nerf build so I didn't have to jump and roll constantly.

On the topic of mages, it would also be fun to see one handed mage weapons, a little less damage, but being able to still hold a torch or even a shield would be nice

I don't think it's very note worthy that the Supreme Court blocked the tariffs. One thing they've been consistent about during the Trump regime is not letting Trump and the rest of Jeffery's old friends **** with the money too much. Sadly, and I really hate to say this, Trump is right in a way. The supreme court has already ceded power and immunity to him specifically; the carveouts for ecobomic stuff like tariffs and the Fed are not consistent with the logic of the unitary executive the court has used to authorize his power. Honestly I find it more contemptible than if the reactionary judges were to go in whole hog as it just shows the bankruptcy of their position, ie being ruled by a king is fine until he tries to crash the stonks.

Recently finished PoE1 and am looking to start Deadfire. I've been playing around with the Battlemage Unbroken/Illusionist or Unbroken/Enchanter idea. I want to be a front line support/debuff/tank. Im open to other subclass combinations but really like the battlemage thematically. I also would like to play sword and board. Not trying to min max but what would my stat spread look like for a build like this and any recommended skills?

I have finished The Knightling and contacted their tech support about the bugs. When I tried to submit another one, I got the following: The Knightling is an action game in a fantasy setting. The titular nameless knightling (squire) gets separated from their knight, only with the knight's shield and glove remaining behind, and decides to look for him while helping the locals. I am ambivalent about the game, so no Steam review. Overall, while the idea of a light platformer with Devil May Cry-like combat was appealing to me and I greatly appreciate the rebindable controls, saving at will, and the non-binary MC, the actual implementation is lacking - neither the combat nor platforming nor the story feel particularly good. Ender Magnolia is in progress. The combat and exploration are enjoyable and the bosses are reasonably challenging (adjustable). The recruitment/tuning requiring an explicit input from the player feels good.

I found another problem in the magic mirror, this one's easy to screenshot, so I did. This looks like remapping interact is the problem, not jump. So, I tried to just swap L1 and X until I encountered a tutorial popup. I could dismiss it with X as expected. So, it seems that some controls get mixed up when interact is remapped.

Being better than Russia or China on a democracy scale is a very low bar.

Yes, he can do tariffs in another form and see how they work But for me thats not the significance of this ruling There are 2 main takeaways from this the majority Conservative SC will not always support his policies. There has always been a concern around this because its a 6-3 Conservative majority. Trump's overall ability to implement sweeping policies effectively has been undermined And I predict this will become worse after the Midterms where the GOP will lose control of either the House and or the Senate But end of day its a victory for US Democracy, and global Democracy, because its an example of the functional structure of the checks and balances that all US presidents must be accountable to Can you ever imagine the courts in Russia or China being able to reject and reverse something as significant as these tariffs that the state decided to implement and vociferously support

More Dew Collector shapes for Grounded 2. One shape would be a full size wall square. Another shape would be circular sized to fit in four arch blocks aligned in a circle. Maybe these new blocks should come in all of the wall shapes and sizes. These Dew Collector pieces could have the Dew Collector functionality or just be Web Windows that can be shot through with arrows.

It seems they've also patched the infinite money glitches which is a bit rubbish, can never understand why they patch things like that where the only person affected is myself

I would love to see a way to customize buggies so me and my friend's buggies don't look exactly the same. Whether it be as simple as armor/saddle dyes or just small things to differentiate them. It would also be cool to have the ability to use extra buggies as "guard dogs" where when the base or players get attacked, buggies will exit the nest to provide help.

Goal 2/2026 achieved. February 20, 22:00 – I have decided to follow with one more easygoing game, so I have picked up and finished shortly after Hero of the Kingdom III from GOG. After enjoying the first two games, this one felt a little bit more overwhelming. The main reason was very grindy nature of some quests in the second part of the game, which slowed down the tempo of the game, and made me to do a lot of busywork, before I was able to proceed to the last town, where the game became more easygoing again, but still more grindy, than first two acts. This also artificially prolonged the length of the game, with all achievements unlocked, to almost 11 hours, which is pretty OK, but because of that, the story felt shortest of the three games. There were also a few improvements, like the possibility to shop on the world map, which made the grind at least a little bit more bearable.
