  5. Would like to second this. I found that when a fighters last action in the turn is "into the fray" the character gets stuck unable to end the turn. If available that turn, second wind and weapon swapping (at least through pressing the hotkey) allows you to end the turn.
  6. Seems the US has had a very bad time with their refueling aircraft. One crashed, another damaged over Iraq and according to the WSJ a further five (!) hit on the ground in Saudi*. Iran/ pro Iran Iraqis had claimed the ones over Iraq, with a fair bit of (justified) skepticism being shown. Be a hell of a coincidence if the other hit was proven, though it's difficult to think of a plausible scenario unless the US has re-entered Al Asad in Iraq (which is close to where the one which crashed crashed, but the US is meant to have left and there's no information suggesting it's still in use). The one that landed in Israel looks eminently repairable in the mediumish term and supposedly the ones (supposedly) hit in Saudi are repairable, but given they are huge volatile fuel carriers that swap combustible for explosive when empty you would suspect that won't be true for all of them. Not exactly crippling given the US still has about 150 in active service. *Yes, that is the same Saudi that is definitely not involved in the strikes, and cannot understand why it's being targeted... though it was obvious from Trump's lack of outrage cf Britain and Spain that their facilities were being used, whatever they claimed.

  9. Almost definitely is a scam, at least insofar as you'd be getting anything that you couldn't get from the general internet or by asking chatgpt. Shame you have to donate or you could have a lot of fun signing up for that under false names. The ability to say that sort of thing with something approaching a straight face was probably why he got the job. Along with all the ruthless aggression fratboy posturing and possessing the demeanour/ intellect of a Fox & Friends presenter. (Hardly an isolated sentiment/ incident though, no matter how awful Hegseth's presentation is to those cursed with woke DEI flaws like critical faculties. We got pro Russian shrubbery and Putin ordering troops to hold their ground to give the illusion they weren't retreating in Ukraine for example. There's definitely a subset of people who will take that sort of thing at face value without the slightest thought given)
  10. sound like a scam right now gulf state might be the highest bidder
  11. https://newrepublic.com/post/207749/donald-trump-selling-national-security-briefing-details-fans "In a fundraising email, a Donald Trump–affiliated super PAC offered the highest bidders “unfiltered updates on the threats facing America.”" How can this even be real.
  12. I noticed DS2 has a Win10 version requirement. 1909+ I remember a game some while back that had me upgrade Win10 once (vs. my purchase version). My System Information says ---Version - 10.0.19045 Build 19045. No ##H2 included in the byline. Not surprising, it was a long while ago (could've been 3-4 years ago, might have been 4++ years, sorry I can't recall). Does 1909+ include Build 19045? Is my 19045 actually 1909/19H2 or 22H2 but mine's an early/not updated version which is why that byline doesn't mention any ##H2? (dangit, web search+version naming jumbo is too confusing)/

  15. We were friends with China even during the iron curtain. In fact China was smuggling a bunch of stuff for us during the NATO aggression and we gave them the wreckage of the downed stealth bombers to study. Our relations have steadily improved since China turned communist and nowadays we probably have better diplomatic relations with them than we do with Russia.
  16. It's snowing here; there's about an inch accumulated thus far and it's still coming down. This is very late in the season for snow in this area. ❄️ Meanwhile, the weather folk are predicting a strong El Niño for 2026, which may mean a year or two of abnormally high temperatures. 🥵 The Return of a Super El Niño: How the Rapid Collapse of La Niña is Triggering a Massive Global Shift for 2026 Guess I should enjoy the cold while I can...
  17. I literally created an account just to respond to this. I spent probably an hour rebooting my Xbox, trying different controllers, looking online on how to… and the whole issue was I wasn’t pressing A. I feel dumb, but, thanks for the help. Thank god I found a 12 year old post lol

  23. Is there a sense of irony in there, considering Albania used to be the only European country with close ties to China. Albanian was once the only second language allowed to be taugt in China (after the break between China and the USSR) Money talks I suppose edit: completely unrelated, but the Albanian language is actually a relic from the past, some sources claining it to be 6000+ years old. Basque is older still, but still on the old side

  29. Yes, it would be good to have a timeline. I'm now busy modding CP2077, but I'll move on and start another game soon and, when I do, the chances that I'll come back to TOW2 to finish it are slim.

  31. Yeah, no Oil companies will make great windfall profits but for everyone else cost of living and inflation goes up with sustained high oil prices
  32. So sad that they took away so many cool stuff. Honestly, I would pay AAA price for Cipher abilities.
  33. Getting into building. I like lighting up the place, using colours to change the ambience. In that, using a lot of lights it can be painfully slow when changing lighting. A QOL improvement would be is to allow us to assign a switch to each light, and we use a single switch for a group of lights to change colours, and therefore have a few switches that'll change a bunch of lights each. Even though I'm not into effects, you could probably add effects beyond just colours into the lighting via the switches, similar to the RGB in PCs. It would be amazing in playgrounds for people setting a mood, such as a boss fight under red lights brightening at the speed of breathing. So I have seen people lighting under floors. but I have noticed when doing it myself, I have to use a lot of lights, and it causes a bad moving square patterns appearing that is annoying and not what I was expecting. In that though, it might actually be difficult to fix. It might be easier to just be able to use lighting resources (such as sap, dry grass etc) to infuse glow into the floors or walls that looks like there is lights behind them. You can then allow the floors to be assigned to a switch and we can change the glow whenever we want.
  34. Just noticed that the status of this bug has changed from "Investigating" to "Fixed in a future patch." So....I guess that's good...at some unknown future date... Aren't hot fixes a thing? Kinda frustrating. Hopefully this future patch is soon.
