Hello. I recently got a 5070 ti and was messing around with settings. The setting to choose 3x or 4x FG is missing. If I use Nvidia App to Optimize the game settings, I can see it sets it to 4x FG but then when I launch the game, FG is disabled I have the latest drivers and I have HAGS enabled. Any ideas?

Why I Am Resigning ... When I became a senior judge in 2013, my successor was appointed, so my resignation will not create a vacancy to be filled by the president. My colleagues on the United States District Court in Massachusetts and judges on the lower federal courts throughout the country are admirably deciding a variety of cases generated by Trump’s many executive orders and other unprecedented actions. However, the Supreme Court has repeatedly removed the temporary restraints imposed on those actions by lower courts in deciding emergency motions on its “shadow docket” with little, if any, explanation. I doubt that if I remained a judge I would fare any better than my colleagues. ... I resigned in order to speak out, support litigation, and work with other individuals and organizations dedicated to protecting the rule of law and American democracy. I also intend to advocate for the judges who cannot speak publicly for themselves. I cannot be confident that I will make a difference. I am reminded, however, of what Senator Robert F. Kennedy said in 1966 about ending apartheid in South Africa: “Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.” Enough of these ripples can become a tidal wave. And as Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney wrote, sometimes the “longed-for tidal wave of justice can rise up, and hope and history rhyme.” I want to do all that I can to make this such a time. ... am highly recommending reading the linked in its entirety. am knowing the "tidal wave of justice" ain't gonna happen today or tomorrow, and the disappointment am left with as our fellow americans shrug off improbable new trump administration excesses and indignities is beyond the scope o' our capacity to fully convey. what is it gonna take to make a difference? even so, with each additional attendee o' a no kings march and every time another mark l. wolf publicly declares their outrage, am a bit more hopeful those seeming trivial acts of resistance build towards something meaningful.

Yeah it seems to happen when you pick up a new party member but like I said I can't go back and test dismissing him from the party to pick up Tristan because I didn't notice right away. -

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, Thread 2
Hawke64 replied to Katphood's topic in Computer and Console
Screenshots: All starting outfits look off and I do believe that this is on purpose. The attire from the key art: Some locations look nice, but I would not be able to navigate without the map. The collectibles - really unsuitable locations if you think of it. Same for the graffiti: I spent the next 10 minutes chain-biting this and another NPC. Very practical and not weird. Another feeding session when I unlocked the last blood type affecting ability. Then I stopped hunting for the rest of the game. He has a point here. Various glitches. Arguably, there could have been more. The haven. There is also a dead companion animal and a dead wild animal in the corner. The side quests offer a bit of context. To be fair, as much context as most of the main quests (there are ~5 significant ones and a lot of "go there, kill everything"). Fabien's quests: Spoilers (main NPC #2 or so): Spoilers (main NPC #3 or so): Spoilers (the incredibly touching romance dialogue): Spoilers (late-game/after the underground quest): Spoilers (end-game and ending): -
I literally set up an account just to ask for this. It was such a bummer to discover this was a thing in the first game. I accidentally deleted my first character without realizing the saves weren’t separate. I had really hoped they’d divide them out for the second game. I’m an avid buildcrafter. So, I hope they’ll consider making the change this time around!

TB Mode Bugs (that I've seen so far)
Dallikiera82 replied to Dallikiera82's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
The Kana bug is apparently worse than I thought - now the game hangs on "waiting" every time it gets to his turn - he doesn't even get a chance to try to act. Also - not being able to unstealth in combat is causing a lot of weird issues.- 1 reply

I've progressed to the point where you get multiple planets to go to, and I did the quest for Inez and we spared the doctor and it's at the point to return to Ethel's lab, but it seems like it's just stuck there. Ethel offers no options and neither does Inez. The quest marker is at Ethel's lab, but it seems like nothing is triggering the next part of the quest chain. I thought I was the only one after doing some research, but it seems like a new reddit post shows someone else having this issue too: https://www.reddit.com/r/theouterworlds/comments/1orqnqg/inez_quest_return_to_lab_not_working/

Random video game news... RNG is your friend!

Loved this video. As a hardcore fan of the Realms, it was such a treat to see and hear from the great Ed Greenwood. -

Thanks for sharing. I like this review very much, because it pushes back at something that's been seriously bothering me about people's views and reviews of games recently, namely this argument that '2' is just a bigger and more polished version of '1' and therefore it's somehow not a good game worth playing. No one seriously made this claim with past '2's, most notably D:OS2 which *was* merely a bigger and more polished version of '1'. But now, those very same people (pro and amateur reviewers alike) who gushed over games like D:OS2 are pushing this silly claim about TOW2. I chalk it up to a very dangerous increase in an entitlement mentality among people in recent years.

! I would like to ask if a smaller snap grid could be added, possibly with a toggle. Right now everything snaps to 0%, 50% or 100% of a full floor (both in the X and Z axis) which places most items with a lot more useless space around them then actually necessary! If we could also snap them to 25% and 75% that would make a huge difference! The best example of this is chests, which currently snap to half a chest away from every wall! If there were more snap points you could stack them next to the wall and get more of them in a very neat row! Thank you very much!

When jumping into The Outer Worlds 2 after moving from my XSX to my Xbox ROG Ally X and back, the game will seemingly load before it syncs saves. The symptom that shows is you will see “Save Unsuccessful” messages pop up when the game tries to autosave. The workaround for this is to open the Save menu and it will force a sync with Xbox cloud saves and then you can save the game/autosaves start to work again. I can reproduce this every time I swap.

I appear to be unable to progress in the Aza Companion Quest "Stabbing at Shadows." I am at the objective, "Rendezvous with Severin" on Cloister. I went to their location, I went through their dialogue and then fought the Sentinels that ambush you and then nothing happens. From what others have said, a conversation with Aza is supposed to automatically trigger to progress the quest, but I never got that conversation and now I am just stuck at this part and unable to progress. I have tried leaving the planet and returning, changing companions, reloading the game. Nothing has worked. I was using Tristan as my second companion when I was doing this quest and defeating the Sentinel ambush triggered a conversation with him, so maybe that interfered with the quest? I am just speculating. I haven't been able to do any retesting on a different character as the quest is a bit far into the game, but based on what I have seen others say about the quest, it seems like Aza needs to loot something from Severin's body and that looting Severin's body yourself too quickly could interfere with that. Again, I don't know for sure if this is what is happening, but it seems plausible. Hopefully this helps and there's a fix/workaround/solution to this soon!

Galeruex started following PS5 Trophy Bugs - All For None & Go Out With a Bang
-
Neither of these trophies appear to be working for me on the latest update of the PS5 version. Go Out With a Bang doesn't appear to be willing to pop no matter how many multi-kills I get with the weapon. All for None has 1 instance on the PS5 trophy tracker but I have no idea what triggered that. I've tried on multiple character files various methods of driving companions away, ranging from violating their core beliefs; trading them to executioners for safe passage; blowing up their loved ones; shooting them; and asking very nicely. None of these have worked and I'm starting to feel very bad about my managerial conduct during testing.

I have finished The Séance of Blake Manor as well and managed to save everyone saveable (21/21, as the end-game window indicated). I have also spent almost a day trying to find Joyce - the quest requiring her was available very early, while the NPC was frequently inaccessible. The time limit allows to have a lot of interactive junk and functionally useless dialogue options without pressuring the player into using them all, which is welcome. I also had to wait for ~2.5 hours at the end for the last event after doing everything else (and 1 hour to get to Joyce). The controls are rebindable and it is possible to save at almost any time, though the number of save files is insufficient. The main non-logical puzzle (the runes/glyphs thing) is fun enough to do repeatedly. The visual style is very readable and expressive at the same time (low-poly 3D environment and 2D character models). A small annoyance was (ending spoilers): Also, some investigations were obvious to me as a player (e.g. Murphy's) but not the character, including the main culprit.

SinisterFire started following Friends in High Places bug?
-
Is there a workaround for getting through the sealed door after the bridge in Friends in High Places? I'm on an Xbox Series X, can't load an earlier save as I thought I was doing something wrong or had missed something so they've auto saved at pretty much the same point. I've been through the area multiple times, have fixed both fuses, the bridge is there but the door is still sealed. Any ideas on how to progress or if Obsidian are going to patch it?
