  6. Great, more shark movies. At least Sharknado is supposed to be silly. Does everyone understand that Sharks don't do well in shallow water? At least not these monsters that they are showing in the movie. Highly unrealistic. :p

  10. One of the best things about being a gamer is looking at your list of unplayed Steam and GOG games and deciding what to play next Another best thing is finding a game on a sales special that you have always wanted to play I am finally playing Red Dead Redemption 1, I have waited 14 years to play this game on PC I spent close to 300 hours on RDR2 and Im looking forward RDR1 🤠

  12. Crimson Desert's Steam store page now says Denuvo included. Which doesn't bother me personally. But it always feels a bit sneaky (or something) when a game adds such after it's already been available for pre-order for a bit etc. vs. just doing it/saying they will from the get-go, even if those that do mind can simply cancel their pre-orders. I'm still going to be waiting for those initial reviews re: gameplay/mechanics. Like, I'd like to know more about this settlement feature etc. I have high interest/hopes - the no chr-xp-levels aspect also interests me - but it's not quite a "must buy" for me yet. Almost, but not quite.
  13. Hey Obsidian, I play Avowed since it's been released on PS5 and want to thank you for this great RPG - incredible what you've accomplished and how beautiful your world is! Also it's a huge playground for explorers and most of the time rewarding. Two suggestions for upcoming patches though: Please implement a torch or lantern! I'm for 40 hours in the game and there is absolutely no trace of a lightsource to carry with me. That's a shame, especially because the lighting of other sources is excellent. And second, if possible, please implement some changing weather conditions in the areas, at least clear skies and rain, and wind (for trees and leaves to move more). Would add much to the atmosphere! Thanks again and keep up the good work Andy
  14. I doubt any of what happens in Iran or Hormuz at the moment benefits the US in any way. There are heads of state, who knows how to play Trump like a fiddle and have no problems making him dance to their tune. Pat him on the head and tell him what a great guy he is and how the world will admire his tough stance. You can almost visualize the phone conversations between Netanyahu, MBS and Trump played out. Netanyahu, like Trump has pending court cases for corruption and a needs a constant state of war to stay out of jail, Saudi Arabia would not miss out on an opportunity to kill as many Shia muslims as possible. Putin has a similar talent for handling Trump like a sock puppet and get him to do Russias bidding. In this case, dismantling Nato from within. The potential for the worst oil crisis since the 70's and the dead bodies of 140+ school girls are a small price to pay for such glorious victories on the world stage. Since his ugly mug is unlikely to fit in with the other four heads on Mt. Rushmore, it wouldn't really be a surprise when the announcement comes, that national guard demolitionists are going to make way for a nice new large (the largest ever, the world has never seen anything this large and this golden!) gilded bust of his royal highness where the 4 old heads used to be
  15. Note that the death of the Aytollah is credited to Israel, although it likely wouldn't have happened without the US attack. We also have Israel to thank for attacking Iran's oil infrastructure; I'm not sure that was a good move from the US perspective.

  24. I feel that doing that for all armor sets would be a lot of work, but I do think that there is something to this in the fact that people who invest in early armor that has strong/liked set bonuses do not want to lose their investment or feel like they have to abandon the armor they have grown attached to in favor of higher tier gear.... An example: Lady Bug armor is strong and very well-liked, but it is lower tier. What if, after fighting ladybirds (Assuming they will make it back into the game) your ladybug armor could be used to craft a higher-tier version with the same or close to the same bonuses? This could be done for particularly liked early game sets that have a later game counterpart to the bug... Just so you don't lose a unique version of armor for those later game counterparts that could be included too of course.

  28. The leverage Iran has is 100% tanking the world economy by shutting the straits, and tanking their neighbours. They don't really have any reason to stop- whatever Trump says- before they've proven they can; because otherwise Trump and Israel will be back for annual 'mowing the grass' exercises. The only way Iran stops that, is to make it clear what the consequences will be. Otherwise, they just get steadily weaker. It may seem odd that Trump doesn't understand that given that pretty much everyone else did, but that's the problem with being a massive unempathetic narcissist being egged on by sociopaths like Netanyahu and grade a certified cretins like Graham. Not only do you believe that people will do what you want them to because it's you doing the telling and believe circumstances will fall into line because it's you needing them to- the narcissist part- but you also think other people will behave as you would in the circumstances. ie do anything to preserve themselves, in the way you'd do it were the circumstances reversed... surrender. Pretty much everything Trump- and to be fair, the broader US and West in lesser part- has done for 20 odd years leads us to this place. If Iran is cut off from the western economy, then crashing it has no real disadvantages, for them. If they have no navy or ability to send their own ships, or oil capacity they have no reason to keep the Straits of Hormuz open. You've killed the father and most of the family including children and wife of the new leader. If the US has bombed them twice in the past year they need a guarantee it won't happen again in nine months when Trump needs a distraction from the disastrous midterms or whatever. The only way they get that, and make him enforce that on Netanyahu, is by making it very obvious what the consequences will be if it happens again. They do that by taking things beyond the 4 days grace releasing some emergency fuel grants.
  29. Well, presumably Iran would want to return to the negotiating table with some form of leverage. The US is spending around $900 million per day, with $6 billion spent thus far. If Iran pursues an asymmetrical war strategy, it could cost the US dearly to gain any sort of victory. Plus, redacted doesn't have infinite funds to spend; he'll have to go to Congress with hat in hand with the Reps having to run for re-election with this on their record.
  30. Grounded ideas Fish would be extremely too big for a person the size of grounded characters to catch. So let’s think about insects that are water dwelling and fit the scale of the game. What are some super tiny water bugs that we could “fish” Ah, I see—you’re scaling down “fishing” to a tiny, tabletop or video game scale, so the fish would be far too large, and you need water-dwelling insects or small critters instead. Here’s a list of tiny aquatic organisms that could work as “fishing” targets for your grounded characters: ⸻ 1. Water Striders (Gerridae) • Skim the surface of ponds and streams. • Can be “caught” with nets or small lures. • Fun mechanic: they’re fast and jumpy, making them tricky to catch. 2. Water Boatmen (Corixidae) • Swim under the water, feed on algae and detritus. • Small and manageable size for tiny characters. • Could be “harvested” with tiny traps. 3. Backswimmers (Notonectidae) • Swim upside down, small but active. • Can be mildly aggressive if disturbed—fun for gameplay. 4. Mosquito Larvae / Pupae • Live at the water surface. • Easy to gather, maybe in bulk. • Could serve as “bait” for slightly larger water bugs. 5. Daphnia (Water Fleas) • Tiny, plankton-like creatures. • Perfect for very small-scale “fishing.” • Could be a food source or crafting ingredient in your game. 6. Mayfly Nymphs / Caddisfly Larvae • Live in freshwater streams. • Could be hidden under rocks or in the substrate. • Provide a little challenge to catch. 7. Pond Skaters’ Relatives / Springtails • Found at water edges or floating surfaces. • Jumping ability adds an interactive element to fishing mechanics. ⸻ 💡 Gameplay Note: You could combine different types for variety—like a “rare catch” mechanic, where some species are easier to find but less valuable, and others are harder to catch but give better rewards. Using insects instead of fish also opens up creative interactions like nets, traps, or lures made from leaves or pebbles
  31. Again, every country inflate enemy loses in war. And is not " without actual evidence, let alone proof", is corroborated by Russians themselves. Murz got "suicided" once he admitted taking heavy loses. And by satellite images and video footage. That said, Colombians, the ones who are deployed often to the most dangerous areas of the frontlines have roughly 10% KIA.
  32. Diablo IV: Season of Slaughter Ah, just kidding. It wouldn't be a Blizzard D4 season if it actually worked an hour after going live.
  33. I can't stress enough how awful I feel right now. I finally get to buy the game and enjoy it with a good PC, and now the Alabama error has killed the game for me. 11 hours of progress with not a single issue, but today I've crashed 5 times with this error. I've tried reinstalling drivers, verifying integrity, reinstalling the game, clearing shader cache, disabling ray tracing and running as administrator. Absolutely nothing works. I get to play like 4 minutes and crash. So, basically the game is completely useless for me and I can't get a refund now. Windows 11 7950X3D 5090 32GB RAM Installed on SSD
  34. I can't imagine an outcome where the US and Israel stop attacking Iran and then Iran continues there attacks or continues to block Hormuz Anything is possible but it seems very unlikely?
