SonicMage117 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I'm old Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Lest I draw my nail...
injurai Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Going to be blasting this on my phone when I sit with my dog outside, once it gets above 10 C "Let me just throw every dub, ragga, dancehall sample into a bin and see what comes out in the wash." It's not a bad song, just a bit derivative even by reggae's standards.
Lexx Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Reminds me of this: It's pretty good, imo. 2 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

Well that and I can easily wind up metal fans (fantastic snobs there ) Why has elegance found so little following? injurai Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Joys of being a simple music fan, I suppose. Well that and I can easily wind up metal fans (fantastic snobs there ) No problem with that, I listen to plenty of music that draws from shared language of samples. Reggae just often feels especially lazy to me because a lot of the music I listen to evolved from or has been heavily influenced by those roots, and really displays how much innovation could be had otherwise. I feel ya with metal though, I only dabble on the edges of that genre and I'm sure I'm missing some of the better or more respectable stuff. Although I tend to respect metal fans because I realize metal is an incredibly rich area of music, and I find it parallels a lot of what I listen.

LadyCrimson Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 True in 1983 when song was released. Still true in 2003. Still true today (and not just in the "good ol' USA"). Maybe one day such a song will no longer feel relevant. One day. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Orogun01 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Considering what's going on this song seems topical...or it might be wishful thinking on my part 2 I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
Keyrock Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Reminds me of this: It's pretty good, imo. Pretty great mashup. For fun, here's my favorite mashup: RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks
wolfrider100 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 (edited) Got hooked on this song, Sixlight - Burning Out. Edited April 15, 2018 by wolfrider100 " Life... is strength. That is not to be contested, it seems logical enough. You live, you affect your world. " ` Jon Irenicus ´

majestic Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 Written after the Rostock-Lichtenhagen riots. Ben should like this, assuming the comrades in China didn't get him. Translated lyrics: The conditions at home are unbearableNo supplies left to getAnd no prospect of any futurethe only chance a western countryEverything is foreign and you have to acceptThat the people here are better tooAfter all, you can move freelyAlthough some looks are not harmlessAnd the waiting time in the refugee campIs not always niceOnly the hope of a life worth livingMakes up for it allAt night, a stone flies through a windowThe shards rattle, something burnsA few half-naked people are shoutingWhile someone runs out in panicOutside, a few young guys roarLeave now or we'll kill youIn the child's eyes nothing but horrorOn the arm of the mother who just stares silentlyThank God, the police's comingThat was pretty closeAnd the attackers are gone Just as fast as they turned upIt begins the same way Says old FranzIt's the same old song It's the same old danceIt begins just as it did 60 years agoAnd back then it too Began with only a fewWhat remains is a damaged houseAnd the bare fear of tomorrowAnd in prison a few tough heroesThe few days there they proudly bearAnd at some tavern table you hearAh well, that that can happenThey should mind their own businessAnd behave quietly in a foreign countryThey want our work and steal like magpiesAnd for that they are fed by usThat you do not necessarily kill themThat's another can of wormsIt begins the same way Says old FranzIt's the same old song It's the same old danceIt begins just as it did 60 years agoAnd back then it too Began with only a few It begins the same way Says old FranzIt's the same old song It's the same old danceIt begins just as it did 60 years agoAnd back then it too Began with only a few No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

Valsuelm Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) Once upon a magical time I played a game. Many many many great videos of this game were made by many a folk. Here are two of my favorites, musically speaking. One of them is also one of my all-time favorite encounters: Heigan the Unclean (original Naxx version). A'lar was fun too of course, especially early on. Vanilla and BC.... whoa those were the days 'Time for FUN!!!!' Edited April 19, 2018 by Valsuelm
Malcador Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the PTSD from remembering the damn Heigan dance and repeated wipes.
