I told myself: whatever you do, don't aim for 100% monster compendium. I am now trying to catch every familiar... :(

Completed all "story" quests (meaning all non-notice board ones, which are usually of the kill this or that or collect this or that type) in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.

I'm now actually contemplating doing a speedrun at some point to get to 100% achievement completion... :geek:

Valley just came out with their Mac and Linux versions so I scooped up and started playing that.  It's like someone made a game specifically with me in mind.

Developer: How would you like a first-person exploration focused game?

Keyrock: Sure.

Developer: What if we put in an exoskeleton suit that let you run really fast and jump super far?

Keyrock: I mean, that would be awesome, can you do that?

Developers: Of course.  Plus, we'll put you in this cool looking forest with friendly spirits so you run around and get your platforming on.

Keyrock: Sold.

Just about to book passage to Skellige.  Too bad I couldn't just swim.  Geralt seems to go faster in the water than on a boat.

Bit of WoW burnout so am playing some Endless Legend. Wish the fonts were larger for some menus.

You can increase UI size somewhere in the UI menu. UI gets in the way then, but it's legible, which ... Is a bit of an advantage.

Ocarina of Time 3DS.

I'm still enjoying it a lot. I don't think the overall experience has aged as well as A Link to the Past but it definitely tried to do some new and interesting things - and succeeded in most of them.

I wish I didn't have some sort of irreparable issue with MS Visual Studio 2015 C++ redistributable installation (refuses to install/uninstall/repair and is permanently broken) because without it I can't run Dolphin on my laptop. And I know for a fact it could handle the few Gamecube/Wii games I'm interested in trying.

Ah, knew I should have fiddled more with the options last night. So far it seems like a decently fun game, kind of hate not having a paper manual to pore over for games like this but that is just my taste

Even if you click the "manual" link in the game, it'll just open browser window and the wiki in it. Regardless, Amplitude did actually go the extra mile and wrote a proper manual for the game, so it should work either with an e-book reader or good ol' printer.

Playing vanishing of ethan carter.  Great game.  I'd tried Virginia, but didn't click.  easier for non native English because no text, but still not as fun.  VoEC is entertaining and very eerie.  No wall of text, but enough text and narrative to make a story.  my lady friend can't play because motion sickness, but it's a splendid game.  I read that sunless sea is good and almost nabbed it but snatched VoEC instead.  maybe get SS next.

How ****ing hard it is to take into account that the user might want to disassemble the device for cleaning or minor repair?

Well why would you buy another one if you could fix it :p

Sadly I can't use the work printer for the manual so I guess I have to read up on this the annoying way

I've seen them on Fasttech dirt cheap but my Dual Shock 2 still refuses to die so I don't have a real reason to buy it.

Yeah the Dual Shocks have a half decent d-pad.  I got this cos I was tired of fighting with my old 360 pad  :getlost:

On Skellige, but I have no money right now.  Which sucks because the merchant I came across is selling those maps I need to find the different school Witcher gear and upgrades.

Finished the Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Very good story. Not tripping over itself trying to be artsy. Puzzles were simple but not irritating. Twist not too eye-rolly. Too short, though. According to Stream, only five hours fr beginning to end. Two achievements locked still and hidden. Since I enjoyed the game maybe I search for secrets and play one more time.

That's GOG for me. Think I left off at Shogo in my queue. Was sort of looking forward to Syberia 3 even if it'll probably be boring as DFC. Maybe less up its own ass about it
