Fenixp
Well there's a review I agree with wholeheartedly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5_LPJIQDLI The only difference being a) Enemies are generally less bullet spongy than those in the original Shadow Warrior b) In spite of all this, I enjoy the game quite a lot (perhaps before I more or less ignore the loot system. Yes, you can :-P) Edited October 18, 2016 by Fenixp

And those pompous inspirational speeches are really starting to grate on my nerves. I'll still play it, if for no other reason than being able to play as Święta Jadwiga Andegaweńska. That said, it's a Firaxis game , so no way am I touching it at launch. That Complete Edition a year from now, that's where I hop in. Mamoulian War
I am sorry for the "infringement", but I just have to share this Mafia III review :-D OMG this is terrible its not MAFIA it should be called Haitians war 3 ! Have I Played a worse game? No I can’t say that I have. This was pathetic. If the producers are still alive: 1. They shouldn’t be. 2. They should be ashamed. To give you guys a few pointers of the “game”: 1-I don’t know who was in charge of “special effects“, but I could have done better in my backyard with my VHS camcorder that doesn’t have a battery. 2-I was a devout Catholic before this “game”. But since playing it, I know there is not a God, because if there was, he wouldn’t have let this game be produced. I am now an atheist. Folks however bored you get, however curious(or brave) you are, however many laughs you THINK you will get out of this game, please DO NOT BUY THIS. It has literally ruined my life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Comment to the producer: I hate you. You have ruined my life. After playing this I feel empty inside. My wife and kids have left me and hate me because I couldn’t speak or hardly move after playing this. I lost my job, my dignity, and above all my pride. I will never forgive you in this life or the next(which is not looking good from my new found beliefs). (0/10) I wish, that game journalists would be so eloquent :'( 2 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. I might have already botched my playthrough because I didn't focus on anything but tried to dabble in everything. After I wipe England from my continent and research seaworthy vessels I'm exited to see how much behind I am compared to the AI on the other continent. This is on Prince btw, it's been too long since my last Civ game to go any higher.

Darkpriest
Not sure how would that work... Civ6 is not really that fast paced to be played like a toruney game. Im not an expert, but can the match be completed in 45min-1h? longer than that seems a bit too much

sorophx
so they're just reusing assets, eh? meh. one of the reasons I never picked up Age of Decadence is its art style (the other reason being TB melee combat - the worst thing ever in a game). going to pass on this one as well it seems Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Lexx
That's the whole point of the game. They are trying to make enough money to get over the years that are required for the colony ship RPG. The development time spend on Dungeon Rats is less than a year, exactly because they are reusing most of the assets from the main game and because it is very combat focused. 4 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die." Mamoulian War
I do not mind reusing assets, if it really speeds up the development of a game. But it must have some logic behind it. Would be stupid to reuse fantasy assets in your next sc-fi thingie. Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Fenixp
There's a difference between weapon models, character models and environmental models getting reused (especially within the same setting where it really makes sense) and entire levels just being copy-pasted and re-branded with a different quest name. Fenixp
Why resurrect ugly?Because creating a whole new array of assets costs an incredible amount of money and effort? Some of us liked visuals in Age of Decadence. They were low-definition, certainly, but they also fit the setting and tone of the game perfectly.
