The hot chicks period was a weird one here though. On the one hand it led to some hilarious parody threads like the hot rodents thread, but it always seemed like a bizarre fit for this place. GG made more sense even though I never got it. I wouldn't really call them insular though. They were extremely active, spawned numerous iterations and would bleed over into other topics. The hot lady thread got closed because some of the pictures were "too lewd" and once before because oby. For it being a strange fit it seemed to get a lot of activity though. She has a BA in Physics with a specialty in Fluid Mechanics and a MS in Engineering Management. I can tell you for a fact no one ever cut here a break for being female and her intellect and personality are such that no one with any sense will take her lightly for it.
