I'm going to be very drunk tonight so if my posts seem weirder than normal that's the reason why.

I have 2 resolutions for 2016.

  1. By this time next year to be living in warm North Carolina instead of cold Connecticut (though this winter has been insanely warm so far).
  2. To be even more salty.

Happy New Year **********ers!

Came across a good quote, from RTW2 of all places, but it suits the occasion - "Far better is it to have a stout heart always, and suffer one's share of evils, than to be ever fearing what may happen, and never incur a mischance"

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

I was lucky enough to see Iron Maiden twice live, once at Lollapalooza where they played exclusively songs from their first 4 albums.  Obviously, Bruce Dickenson, who is a **********ing legend did all the singing, despite the fact that 2 of the 4 albums were Paul Di' Anno albums.  Bruce did a masterful job, as expected, but it shined a light on just how amazing the 2 Paul Di'Anno albums were, particularly Killers.  So, here it is.  Enjoy the awesomeness and Happy New Year ********ers!

I wonder what kind of mod projects I will start but won't finish this year.

Happy New Year all, may fortune favour you in the coming year and the hangover soon pass.

Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.

I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin.

1. A new faction for NV

2. A quest mod involving a pack cow

3. An ambitious mod to bring Ascension to the BGEEs

I can rule out 3 for sure, because I never liked BG. :>

Also I should continue working on my FNV distillery quest. hmmm.

Yeah 1/1/16 (or 1/1/16 for your heathen Americans) has been a pretty chill day so far. I didn't get particularly drunk last night (though not for a lack of trying) as the dinner we made was so solid that I was still pretty full around noon today. :) Then we ended up crashing a party of young university students, while our girlfriends stayed home (by choice), where we promptly discovered that we are indeed not so young anymore... and that young girls are actually not terribly interesting to talk to, although still of course quite pretty to look at.

Fortune favors the bald.
