Though I gotta say their funding/goals seem a little off. I mean you/me/we/us/I don't actually get a single player campaign until they hit 1 million, just more stuff added to the skirmish mode they are already funding... I dunno feels funny to me for some reason

Interesting goals, at least HBS covered some stuff already. Shame I can't get a big Clan Wolf banner and hat

Definitely hoping it at least hits 1.85 million...not fussed about PvP at all, but I imagine there will be add-ons to the campaign between 1.85 and 2.5, so...go 2.5 million!

Yeah, I'm itching at the $125 pledge, the physical rewards sound cool.  But for now I'll stick to $25.  It's flying along though, they will hit a million easily.

Really psyched for this one.

Shadowrun was worth it only for the writing.

A strategy focused game doesn't play to their strengths.

The rate at which this started, Stage 2 should get reached easily, maybe even within the first 24 hours.  Stage 3 is a real possibility.  Stage 4...  who knows?

$250,000 - Combined Arms: We'll add a healthy roster of non-'Mech AI opponents to the Base Skirmish Game including tanks, hovercraft, support vehicles and more. But be careful - even the lightest of combat vehicles can still wreck your 'Mechs under the right conditions. 

$400,000 - Expanded Mission Objectives: We'll add a variety of mission types to the Base Skirmish Game including Escort, Capture, Defend, and more.

Excellent. The world has been in dire need of a good mech game for a while.
I don't know why the mech genre mostly died like it did, but this is an excellent way to restart a revitalization.

I backed at the $125 level, but I keep looking at that jacket thinking, "Don't tempt me, Frodo!!!"

Tempted by the jacket, but suspect it'll be some low grade clothing. I guess I'll kick in for the Noble. I like keychains.

Yeah, the higher tiers are tempting, but I know it would just end up being stuff I'd stick in a drawer/closet, as I simply don't have any space to display it.  If there was a physical copy somewhere in there I might be more tempted, just because I like having physical copies of games I care about.

I hope they put a higher all digital tier

Which ’Mechs will be in the game?

BATTLETECH is in pre-production, so many decisions, like the final 'Mech roster, are not yet determined. But here are the 'Mechs we're currently planning to include:

 

LIGHT: Locust, Commando, Spider, Firestarter, Jenner, Panther, Raven, Urbanmech

 

MEDIUM: Cicada, Blackjack, Vindicator, Centurion, Enforcer, Hunchback, Trebuchet, Griffin, Kintaro, Shadowhawk, Wolverine

 

HEAVY: Dragon, Quickdraw, Catapult, JagerMech, Thunderbolt, Cataphract, Grasshopper, Orion

Will “The Unseen” ‘Mechs be in your game?

We’re excited by the great redesigns Piranha and Catalyst have done for some those “imperially entangled” ‘Mechs but we’re not committing to them right now. However, it’s a long time until we ship, so cross your fingers!

So far I'm just in at the $25 minimum to get the game tier.  I can always change my mind later and adjust (or cancel) my pledge.  I'm not usually keen on physical rewards, but dat jacket tho.  Still, I can't justify dropping $275 on a game, so I better just put it out of my mind.

Didn't see that coming

Can any international backers for Shadowrun Hong Kong who bought physical tiers tell me how much approximate shipping was charged? I understand why they don't provide fixed shipping costs in Kickstarter itself but I don't want to be stung for $50+ shipping if it comes to that.

I hope they hit Stage 3 though i'm only backing for 35$ right now. :S

I put in $25. I hope they reach the $1.85 million goal.

Awesome that they can use the MWO models. They look good and it saves them a lot time and money which can be spend on other areas instead.
