I made up my mind about Emiliana Torrini.

Any artist that can make me feel immense and crushing depression with just a song is a-okay in my book.

How I have existed fills me with horror. For I have failed in everything - spelling, arithmetic, riding, tennis, golf; dancing, singing, acting; wife, mistress, whore, friend. Even cooking. And I do not excuse myself with the usual escape of 'not trying'. I tried with all my heart.

In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance.

"Gorecki used the words etched into the walls of a Gestapo prison by an 18 year old girl."

HA! Good Fun!

Huh, that's weird, 'cos I was kinda thinking the exact opposite... tongue.png Taste is such an odd thing...to one, you can simply hear an all around great song...to another, there's not a single thing to like about it: not the instrumental, not the vocal work, not the lyrics...and in this case, most certainly not the video. laughing.gif
