March 23, 20169 yr I just did that place recently , and i can confirm i got Boots of Stability there on the said day . also been using this list trough whole act 1 , by now 3 Torc of Falcon Eyes , 1 Stalkers Torc , Gauntlets of Accuracy , and a Healing Belt , still have 3 continers left in raedrics Hold . Amazing work for cataloging everything

March 23, 20169 yr From the lists, seems like Day 4 at Raedric's Hold is a gold mine for solo play. Gloves of Manipulation - Desk Chest Belt of Bountiful Healing - Bed Chest Boots of Stealth - Rooftop Chest Both the gloves and the boots can save you some nice skill points (a little Stealth is normally needed to get through Caed Nua on solo PotD) and the belt is very useful early game to make heals stronger. I've now dropped any semblance of caring for not abusing these lists, I'll save that for a more casual run where I'm not bothered about optimising my character.

March 30, 20169 yr As I remember this is absent in the list, but in 3.02 there is a box in the north of the lab full of undeads before Ozria's room Raedric's Hold, sewers. On day 5 there is scroll of mechanics there. Could be very useful if you have 4 lore, but lack of mechanics to find prison hidden, or disarm the trap on bedroom stash, to get gloves of mechanics in same day.

April 1, 20169 yr I got a Stalker's torc instead of the Torc of falcon eyes +2 on day 4 in Valewood. Minor Ring of Protection on day 3. So that list seems to have changed as well. Edited April 1, 20169 yr by v-anus
April 1, 20169 yr Day 20 in the Gilded Vale Inn no longer gives Rymrgand's Mantle, it gives an Amulet of Health instead. If anyone can tell me if the Eothas Temple Rymrgand's Mantle is still okay I'd appreciate it, I haven't got round to clearing it out yet but I usually use the mantle to clear the Caed Nua Throne Room PotD solo (equip it, run to a spot just left of the door so the Shadow blocks the Phantoms reaching you, use a staff - usually Durance's - to hit Phantoms behind the Shadow and a ranged weapon to get their attention if one doesn't zone in to attack after another dies behind the Shadow. Rymrgand's Mantle is the only thing that can keep me healthy for such a strategy - and means I don't have to hit Stealth 5 if I don't want to like most solo people clearing the room). I'll be sad if the mantle has now been deemed too powerful for early game and taken off the act 1 lists. Edited April 1, 20169 yr by Jojobobo
April 1, 20169 yr Huh, I just got the mantle from the Gilded Vale Inn. I can't say exactly which day it was, but it was exactly one rest after the start of the game, so the second earliest day you can arrive in GV.
April 1, 20169 yr That's normally day 20, weird I didn't get it then though in the first few pages of the thread it does talk about reloading autosaves if you didn't get the right item on a particular day which I didn't try.
April 2, 20169 yr I don't know if they ever changed it, but back in ye olden days, you had to save and reload your game at least once during the current play session to ensure that the RNG is working correctly. That might explain the discrepancy.

To add, I did reload specifically because I actually reached Gilded Vale before resting, opened the chest to find a Ring of Deflection, then reloaded and rested just to see what I'd get the next day.
