No idea if it's good for me It is very lean though, which means don't try to make it medium rare without having done something to "tenderize" it. We have a strong Indian community in South Africa so Somosas are very common and delicious. They aren't that good for you as they suppose to be fried in oil but with the various options as ingredients they can be very yummy . My favourite is the potato and cheese I baked them instead of frying, so they were pretty healthy. They came out pretty good, I need to get better at making the dough, but I nailed the filling. I tend to fall back on junk food for lunch at work, and nibble a fair bit during the day as well, so by nighttime I'm pretty much done for the day (both in terms of calories and satiety). So yeah, I had fish and chips for lunch and also finished a whole pack of Tim Tams over the course of the working day. Nothing since. EDIT: It's 1am now and while I am kinda peckish, I'm going to go to sleep instead shortly. Being sent to bed hungry (by circumstance or design) made me appreciate food more, certainly. I simply cannot comprehend people who throw away fat or bones from a meal. Of course I'm about a stone of pure fat overweight, so one could argue food appreciation is the least of my worries. I would observe that 100% of thin healthy people die. I am eating leftovers from lunch, and have *startled* just finished a pint of ice cold vodka and tonic water. It was a hard day. I'm going to follow up with another one, and crawl into bed. Because I like to eat my food with what my food eats.
