Yes... Yes it does.

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Holy moly, the game looks phenomenal.

Indeed it does.

Way, way better than what expected it to.

Color me impressed.  I can't wait to cause all sorts of havoc with my Ork (I'm leaning toward Shaman at the moment).

I'm impressed.

Here's a clue: those two KS projects started before PE.

they need to get some detailed death animations in that game asap

looks like it's got a lot of promise though, i wish i had contributed early on

Look what can be accomplished when you don't blow 80% of your budget and have 60 man teams working on graphics, animations, and cutscenes. The game looks great, it looks like it has great gameplay, everything is even better than expected.

Still early, but looks pretty promising.  Definitely gives me some level of Jagged Alliance/XCOM type combat, with a bit more RPG goodness on top of it to boot.  How dare they combine my favourite genres!!

Never heard about the PnP game here in this forsaken third world country so I have missed the KS, but that Alpha footage was one of the most exciting gameplay videos I have seen lately...

definately going to buy this one... looking at the preorders now...

Just preordered the basic game. It looks really, really good. Sadly the AI seems as dumb as ever, but that's a problem in just about every game...

From my many years of armchair game development I seem to remember that AI is one of the last things to get done, so maybe it was a placeholder?

Posted

It's still early for sure.  That they called out how stupid the AI can be is a reflection that it's probably still in progress as well.

I had regretted missing out on the kickstarter, that footage made me preorder. I've bought more games on Kickstarter in the last 6 months than I have from brick and morter places in the last 3 years.

Aren't they talking about how proud they are about their AI? Add it's not like everything could be shown in alpha.

For the most part, I thought the AI was pretty good.  There was the one part where the guy ran up to the character while healing himself, which is what was being made fun of, so obviously there are still some kinks to work out.  Other than that, though, I though it responded quite intelligently, using grenades, seeking cover, etc.
