entrerix Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 the only resident evil games I've actually finished all the way through are 2, 4, and 5. I got stuck almost at the end of Code veronica and didnt replay it, I've never even tried part 1, and part 3 was too stressful... goddamn nemesis ruined my life. Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.
Tale Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 3 was the second one I beat. Namely because of the better controls. A quick 180 turn makes running away soooooo easy. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Morgoth Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) Quantic Dream to stay PS3-exclusive A wise decision. Edited March 23, 2011 by Morgoth Rain makes everything better.
Starwars Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Yes, I won't have to worry about David Cage having even the most remote of chances of contaminating my PC. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
sorophx Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Code Veronica is the best "classic resident evil", with the tank controls and whatnot. 4 is the best overall game in the series though. ah, you're right. I already had forgotten about the controls Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
AutomaticMeat Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I know several people here are fans of the Gothic series, so as a heads up the fan patch for the horribly bugged 'Forgotten Gods' has been released.
Guest The Architect Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) Highly unlikely we'll get our import of Mortal Kombat, bloody classification board, just give games over here an R18+ rating already instead of banning them. They even banned a censored version of it. Edited March 24, 2011 by The Architect

vault_overseer Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 DNF is delayed. The announcement video is great:
Malcador Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 That's a pretty nice office. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
HoonDing Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Bulletstorm > DNF The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

I don't think so buddy, not with you as a mentor. MORTAL KOMBAT IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL.

Azdeus Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Bulletstorm > DNF I'm inclined to agree, but I won't let that phase me; DNF might be great aswell. Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. WorstUsernameEver Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 DNF is delayed. Never coming out. NEVER.
entrerix Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 would be really funny if DNF was released on april 1 Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.
Jaesun Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 would be really funny if DNF was released on april 1 They really really missed the mark by NOT releasing it on April 1st. Some of my Youtube Classic Roland MT-32 Video Game Music videos | My Music | My Photography
LostStraw Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Bulletstorm > DNF Bulletstorm really missed the boat with multiplayer. DNF looks like it'll have some fun modes but with only 8 player support it seems like it'll be a disappointment too
sorophx Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I have to say Dungeon Siege III looks amazing Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. GreasyDogMeat Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) DNF is delayed. The announcement video is great: Oh Duke, you lovable rascal! Oh well, May was way too crowded anyway. Also, while it was previously just a rumor, I'm pleased to say the HD RE 4 & RE Code Veronica ports are real. No announcement date yet. In other Resident Evil news, there is an upcoming 4 player coop RE game called Operation Racoon City. While I never played them, I'm guessing it will be like the RE Outbreak games on PS2, perhaps playing more like RE 4 & 5. As I've mentioned many times, I loved RE 5 coop so if they can capture that magic in Op. Racoon City I'm eager! Edited March 24, 2011 by GreasyDogMeat
Azdeus Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I have to say Dungeon Siege III looks amazing Seen the Katarina trailer? I'm annoyed by the choice of attire so far. Guns are cool though! :D Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Bos_hybrid Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Homefront Exceeds 1 Million in Sales Not a Failure
WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Homefront Exceeds 1 Million in Sales Not a Failure Good for THQ, although honestly the game looks like ****. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Malcador Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Homefront Exceeds 1 Million in Sales Not a Failure Heh, damn, their marketing campaign did a bang up job.
